One of the worst food we had ever had. Never seen this kind of manchurian. The chilly chicken was stale and smelly. Veg chowmein was noodles just with soy sauce. Veg choupsey was so sweet that it could have passed for a sweet dish. Such a big disappointment. If there was a way to give you negative points I would have definitely given it to you.

We ordered from the special menu for 6 people, which allows you to order six different items from a set menu of soups, main dishes, and desserts for $75 + tax. The portions were large and we think 4 people menu will be sufficient for six people. It might just be better to order from the main menu if you don't want variety. The chilli beef, manchurian shrimp chow mein, zesty fish, and wonton soup were excellent. The teriyaki chicken, egg fried rice, and hot and sour soup were okay. The schezwan chicken was terrible. We picked fried wontons for appetizer and it tasted stale as though it has been fried in used oil. The best dessert was chocolate mousse. The mango pudding was good and berry dessert was okay. The service needs improvement as it is slow and we needed to prompt them several times for dessert, bill, takeout boxes and such.

Second time at this place after over a year. Tonight I went with my family and we had a great time. The servers were very nice, took the orders accurately. The waiting time for the food was short, and when it arrived it was very good, the portions are big, the prices are reasonable... I definitely recommend this place 😊

This is my first time ordering from Ming room and it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered chilli fish, chicken fried rice and general tsao chicken. The chicken was too dry, chewy like rubber because of too much batter. It was too sweet. Chilli fish was bland. Rice were not cooked properly and vegetables were raw. The food was cooked by some amateur. The quantities were less than what other chinese restaurants give. I wish i could give less than 1 star to this place. Such a waste of money and food. Will never order from here again.

Ming Room is like a little hidden secret in Mississauga! Amazing menu, great wait staff, and amazing food for a great price! Serving Hakka cuisine, the benefit to the menu is that it is halal as well opening up the customer base to those that prefer to eat meat prepared that way. The restaurant has ample on-site parking, and ample tables for dine-in options. It also allows for take out as well. I had the General Tso chicken and it was a very generous portion. If you pay a bit extra you can get fried rice, otherwise it's plain white rice. Having been there in the past I would also recommend the Manchurian Chicken.

Hi, I have been going to this place for years now, was in for a rude shock last night. The hot and sour soup was white, the dry beef chili was wet, and the szechuan chicken was white . When i brought this to the attention of the server, he was adamant and said this is how they serve it here. The whole family was sick after eating there last night. Not going back to this joint for sure. They used to be good, but the food and service has degraded terribly.

What used to be one of the best Hakka spots in all of Mississauga has now become of the lowest of the lowest. Ordered a chilli chicken combo for old times sake and received deep fried chicken with no sauce of any kind on top.

A nice asian american restaurant where you can dine in and take out. There is a pleasant dining area inside and it is usually not too busy. I decided to go for a quick take out and my order was ready within minutes. I ordered Szechuan Chicken dinner and it came out to be about $18. There was alot of food and it was pretty good.

The appetizer platter was nothing spectacular. The Buddha’s delight was okay and the shrimp dish was pretty good.

It was mostly nice. Ordered on DoorDash. Only giving 4 stars because the zesty chicken was mostly just sweet and the chicken wonton soup was a bit bland.

I started coming back here when my company moved into the area. It's been over 10 years since I last came here. As I remembered, the service is fast and the lunch special is well priced. For $8, you get a decent sized meal and the options are quite diverse; you can basically try a new dish everyday. I'm glad they are still around!

Ming room's staff is always friendly, one of the most hard working I've met. Amazing service and even better food. Prices are reasonable. The wonton soup and flaming chicken are a must try when visiting!

Very disappointed with the chilli Prawn today. Looked and tasted like watered down gravy poured over fried shrimp.😞 It won't stop me from visiting again, especially for the Best Shrimp Pakora in Mississauga, but tonight was disappointing, probably won't be ordering it again, quality is far better at other hakkah places.

Visited this place on suggestion from a friend. Although quantity is more for the given price, taste is average. I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice. Fried rice was rubbery and didn’t like it. Only good thing is they give fortune cookies at end of service.

This restaurant never disappoints. Food is always good, service is nice and portions are good. Chef's special Grilled Pepper chicken and chilli paneer with vegetables being our favorite, we have tried ginger chicken, chilli paneer, vegetable fried rice as well. Everything tastes authentically Hakka and genuinely good. Their newly introduced vegan meat menu also looks very tempting but for the love of our usual comfort food, we never could try it. Located in a quaint strip plaza, almost in the middle of nowhere this restaurant is a hidden gem and our family's favourite for Hakka food. Food price to quantity ratio even in this state of economy is good. Keep up with your quality and generous service Ming room. Always dined in and never got it delivered so no experience of their service while food is delivered.

I have taken my lunch from Ming Room for ten years, either chilli fish or chilli beef. Now my coworkers and my wife join me for the spectacular taste. Strongly recommend.

Visited here after looking at the reviews, but we were highly disappointed with the food quality. The wrap in chicken egg roll was too fermented that it changed the taste. Kung Pao Chicken was very sweet. Chicken in both Kung Pao and Teriyaki chicken was very dry and tasteless. Felt like very dry chicken was added in sauce for each dish. Overall didn't like the food at all. And a bit expensive as well. $60 for 2 people with no drink. Only good things were. Decent service. Good portion size. Veg spring rolls were good. Average Chicken chowmein (with dry chicken again). Will almost never visit here again.

Halal restaurant. It was an economical place to have a light meal with friends and family. Customer service was excellent (forgot the young lady's name. That was her evening shift). Food and ambience was good too.

I've been here a few times and always really enjoyed the entire experience. From the moment you walk in all the little details are thought of, the waitress even commented on our booking information which made it feel personal. Food was delicious!

The food was fine. The quantity was good and sufficient. Did not enjoy the chicken corn soup that much, it was way too thick.

We just got food from this restaurant, Very bad food, stale and over cooked chicken, chicken noodles has shrimp and we are allergic to shrimp. Noodles, platter everything is bad, tasteless and old seems like re-cooked several times. I would have given them negative rating if there is an option to do that. Very disappointed with the quality of food.

I've read very good reviews about Ming Room before COVID. We had out-of-town visitors and decided to go there for dinner based on previous reviews. A huge waste of money and time. The food was cold. The food didn't taste good. It wasn't very busy when we were there. It was embarrassing to bring my visitors there. I won't be going back, ever.

Always a great place for lunch or dinner and they have amazing halal and gluten free options. This place has been a community staple for the last 15+ years. Crispy beef and Manchuria noodles are the go to when you come here. Lots of parking as well.

Food is decent on taste. Few items stand out like the Chilli chicken and a few others. But the sauces to buy is a must try for sure.

Extremely awful taste.Ordered chicken corn soup which was watery and sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice. The chicken was stale and trust me in place of gravy there was some kind of sauce. I tried my best to eat but couldn’t and walked out without eating much.😡I wasted my money and time.

I won't say they are the best Hakka spot in Mississauga; maybe not even top 3 but they are consistent and much more affordable than other spots. Their combos are also very good value. Their manchurian chicken is a lot spicier than other Hakka spots though. The food is always fresh and never have to wait too long. They offer delivery which sets them apart from other Hakka spots. They are tucked away a stones throw away from Streetsville. You really have to look for them next to Burger King

Okay. The high rating is mainly for my favorite dish that makes me go back again and again. It’s always fresh and consistent. I’m disappointed they raised the prices so my dish is now $17.5 instead of $14.5 which is a big raise and they also reduced the amount you get. I love their chilli fish and highly recommend it if you like hot sauce. Another good dish is the Mongolian beef. I’m not a fan of their chicken dishes at all. Kids fish and chips is also cool. Dining in is cool but the bathroom is outdated. I also like their hot and sour soup but add salt. Bob appetite :)
