What a darling spot!! The atmosphere made me feel like I was somewhere in Europe instead of SC. Incredible service too!! I got the Famous Chicken Salad Croissant. I’ve had chicken salads from a bunch of spots and The Gourmet Shop’s is extremely top-notch. Well seasoned and CHUNKY!! I’m still dreaming about the dill potato salad too. Absolutely the best! Also, I couldn’t leave without getting a dessert fix. They have a menu dedicated to just desserts. 😍 I got the Double Layered Blackberry Cheesecake and it was so divine. Definitely add this mood-boosting spot to your Columbia visit. You and your tummy will leave happy.

The Gourmet Shop is my favorite way to spend a Saturday morning. Food is great! So many choices and they serve Illy brand coffee. There’s always a wait, but the actual shop is so fun to browse through. Just be careful because you might buy some glittery maple syrup you absolutely do not need (like I did ha!)

Awesome brunch; expect to wait a while as this is a very popular brunch venue. Enjoy brunch, get a bottle in the shop and indulge for a $5 corkage fee. Fantastic, quick and friendly service. Delicious food! Make sure to get the chicken salad and tomato bisque!

This is the most adorable locally owned shop and restaurant. I love shopping for wines, cheeses, desserts, or kitchen accessories! Called in my order for pickup. I ordered the chicken salad stuffed tomato. It was ready in 10 minutes. On the way out, I ordered a cheesecake dessert. Both were delicious and for both items, it was under $20. Great place to eat, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere.

Wowwww, I loved this place, we went on Saturday around 12pm, was a little crowded but we found a sit outside, it has a good atmosphere (I saw that some waitress looked like stressed). Food was delicious and you can pick some great options to combine, I really like the tomatoes soup 🍜 umm ñami!! Place is curious, it has a lot of wine’s options in the shop, the place has just one bathroom for women and man, it was clean. We had a really good time.

A favorite lunch spot for my husband and me! The sandwiches are delicious and the pesto pasta is divine! Hubby likes the potato salad a lot too! Definitely recommend 👍🏻

What can I say, this is my favorite brunch/lunch place around. An adorably cute café plus an even cuter deli/shop attached?? Say less. You must get the tomato soup even when it's 100 degrees outside, I don't make the rules. The chicken salad is perfection as well. I find myself constantly changing what I get to eat because each time I go I find something else that sounds delicious on the menu. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place.

Here’s an Idea - put a lid on the salad. Ruined dinner. The sandwich was soaked. Very Disappointing. Have frequented both inside dining & takeout. McDonald’s does a better job.

Gets very crowded during the weekend so service was slow. Food was just okay, nothing too special for breakfast. But the drinks were very nice and the atmosphere and decoration was great.

Excited to try this place for the first time and was a little underwhelmed. Service and Atmosphere was great. Food was bland for me. Ruben was just barely warmed over. Pesto pasta salad looked great but lacked any flavor.

Get the spring mix salad, topped with roasted shrimp salad and avocado, and a side of celery seed dressing. You'll thank me later. 😉 Yum!!! 😋 Delicious and filling! The brie and bacon croissant is also good if you want something heavier than salad.

What a find! This cute place has everything....shopping, outdoor dining and amazing food! We tried lots of different things, and they were all wonderful/ The charcuterie board was tasty and had a good selection of items to choose form. The soup and salad options were very good, and the breads were super yummy. I would definitely recommend this place!

My overall experience was great! The food was really good. It was fresh and decently seasoned. The waiter was very friendly and perceptive. The atmosphere was enjoyable - we opted for outside seating, which was really pleasant. I would definitely visit again.

Oh my this place is amazing! It was super busy but we got a table more quickly than expected. The food was exceptional and our server was super pleasant and helpful. We got some food to go from the market side of the house (shrimp salad, butternut squash soup, and a baguette) so we got to enjoy these luscious delights for a couple more days!!

Yum! Whenever we get back to Cola, I try and hit up this spot. A great spot for a quick bite that actually serves yummy ingredients! Take a stroll through the market after eating for dessert or wine to go!

The Gourmet Shop cafe is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch place for inside or outside dining. I had the avocado toast, which was good and quite generously portioned. There's a separate plant based menu which I appreciated. The service was good and frequent. The coffee was probably the star of the show, as it was quite flavorful and refilled regularly.

The presentation of the food is so fancy, cute and elegant. When I open the 📦 box the smells popped out, 😲 omg smelled so good. I will definitely have to go to the location and try a few other items and I suggest you do the same.

At first glance, I though this place wasn’t worth the price, but, after seeing the area with my own eyes, I found it to be a nice, quaint eating area. The place was crowded and bustling w people. Food was very good! I got the Brie and bacon croissant w their soup of the day. I wanted the take the chance to also try their other sides— loved the pesto pasta! Planning on coming back to look at the shop sometime in the future. Note: there’s only one universal bathroom so don’t be surprised if there’s a line given how many people dine there

Cute and small - best to go slightly off hours so you don't have to wait long. (I went at 11:45 on a Tuesday and had no problems.) Delicious chicken salad on a croissant with a side of deviled eggs. Hot cocoa is a little bitter but I prefer that over overly sweet. The shop itself is tightly packed with all sorts of high end goodies. Check out their desserts. They're delicious!

This place is amazing!!!!! Get the 5 year aged cheddar!!!! Yummy yummy for my tummy tummy!!!!! Service was great. Huge selection of cheeses!!!! Food was amazing!!!!!if you get the cheese definitely sample the hell out of it!!!! And buy enough!!!! I didn’t buy enough. But thankfully my Bestie lives there and she will get me some!!!! Hands down, worth the wait to eat!!!!!! Awesome awesome awesome!!!!! The atmosphere is chill.

Visited on a Sunday morning for brunch. Got there just before they began a wait. The restaurant part of the shop is kinda of crowded. The way the place is laid out, it would be hard to reconfigure a better seating arrangement. But other than this, the food was good. Also ordered the mimosa kit which should be served with orange juice in a bigger pitcher. (Had to keep asking for more juice) but overall my experience was good. Just a heads up for others viewing, there is a single toilet bathroom, so there is possibly a wait to use the restroom. I would love to come back on a week day and see if it’s less crowded.

Mmm Mmm Mmm Restaurant seating (outdoor tables too) was packed about 12:45pm on a Thursday, street metered parking was also packed. Went to deli counter to order my items Togo. Lots of selections and home goods for purchase. Crostini ($8.00/lb) and House Spread ($9.99/lb) were very good and the Shrimp Salad ($18.99/lb) is the best I’ve ever had!!!!! Would purchase again.

Always delicious food for all types of people. The selection for high quality cooking accessories is also out of this world. Truly a culinary gem in Columbia.

i absolutely loved this cute little restaurant! the food was scrumptious, the atmosphere was lovely, and all of the staff members were so kind :) i really like how there was a store inside the restaurant where you could purchase kitchenware, various foods, and chocolate. i really enjoyed my bacon and brie croissant with such sweet, fresh fruit!
