    We had to purchase a ring online in 2020 since all stores were closed. We chose a ring that ended up being just as beautiful in person as it was online, but obviously the quality was poor. The only thing worse was the service. It took 4 months to get it sized. When I finally spoke to someone who was able to update me, turns out they had a whole list of things that needed to be fixed, including the diamond and they wanted to charge me for it (I had purchased the protection plan). The store took care of that and I got the ring back. A year later, the shank completely split. Nothing actually happened, I have to assume it just wore down from being sized smaller. Brought it in to get fixed, 2 months later, another list of other things they needed to repair, including the diamond again, wanting to charge me again. I still haven't gotten it back and I'm about to get married. I ordered a set from amazon since I can't trust them to be true to what they've told me. Going by tracking, I'll be getting that set first. I've gotten the runaround and the pretend empathy, but the best thing they're offering me would cost me money. I've tried every avenue to let them try to resolve this properly, but the result is I feel unimportant and unworthy of resolution. Thank you Peoples for completely ruining the experience of the most important jewelry I'll ever wear.

    Don't shop here. Substandard. Their jewellery literally falls apart and is also sometimes damaged. They also apparently don't believe in answering their phone. Lengthy wait times for repairs.

    My ring I picked out is absolutely beautiful and I'll treasure it forever. Customer service not so much. My ring was sent away due to a fault also needed resizing and 2 bands soldered together. I was told it would take 4 weeks max but probably wouldn't take that long since they placed a rush on the order. Okay fine. I wait the 4 weeks I call the dieppe location at 430 pm on a Saturday and I was told my ring was not there. The next morning Sunday I received an email stating my ring was in fact in store but was sized smaller then it should have been and they would like me to come try the ring to see if it would need sent back. Fine. I go in. The girl who sold me the ring and was emailing me recognized me instantly and said I'll be right with you. She brings out the ring. Fits even though they sized it smaller then it was supposed to be. She then asks for my ring back and asked if I had my pick up slip I said nope I left work came right here to catch you before you closed it was 430 they closed at 5. Well I need ID then.. okay well all I have on me is my Medicare card? She said we aren't supposed to give it to you without your pick up slip or another form of New Brunswick ID. K well I don't drive and I don't carry my passport or birth certificate around... you know it's me. She said we will make an exception I guess. Like excuse me? I didn't show any ID when I paid cash right out for my ring but you take it for a month, size it too small, don't notify me when my ring is in store, I have to call and was lied too cause my ring was there when I called. I come to get my ring and don't even make a fuss on any of it politely as can be and that's how I'm treated. No thanks. 👎.

    Amazing customer service as always! I would definitely recommend shopping here. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Not to mention, you cannot beat the warranty there, no other company can beat it (that I have came across that is).

    OMG, what great service! my niece has been trying to get a ring and has been told by multiple places that no rings came in her size. then we went to peoples in moncton nb, and they were fabulous and were able to get her ring ordered and sized for her. One happy girl!!! Thank you for everything!

    Frustrating experience. Was booked for an appointment at 10:30am on Sunday to pick up my re sized engagement ring. We came from out of town not knowing the mall opened later. It would have been nice to be booked in at a time they were open and not closed. When I tried to call and inquire I could see the girls ignoring the phone call through the door. I love my ring however, the service not so much.

    This is not a huge deal in a normal day, but if you are buying a jewelry as a gift you would expect it to be packaged properly. Initially I had the original packaging which looked proper for a gift, but I had to give the jewelry back for sizing. They returned me the jewelry in a cloth bag, totally unacceptable if you are giving a jewelry as a gift. I mentioned it was a gift and I would like my old box, and she mentioned they don’t “keep” those and they don’t have “any” boxes left because “black friday” sale was crazy. That’s none of my business - they should’ve figured out their problem and shouldn’t have “lost” the original box anyway. Also - wait time was loong for the resizing plus no one ever called or emailed that it was done. I had to check it on my own. I normally buy jewelry from Crescent and Peoples had a nice design so I got it. First and last purchase here. Terrible customer service.

    I love all of my jewelry and have spent thousands over the past 25 years. However: the reason for the 4 instead of 5 is that I always have to make sure to buy the warranty. I had to have my 1.5 carat wedding set replace because the white gold wore so thin, they couldn't clean it safely. A yellow gold chain I have also breaks at least once a year while none of my other chains break from there. The warranty saved my wedding set and I replaced it with yellow gold with great support and service. It also saves my yellow gold chain each year as I don't have to pay for repair. My strong advice is to put a warranty on everything you buy as they honour it without question every single time - best warranty in the business and the service around it is what counts for me.

    Updating my review because the staff at this location were all super kind and helpful with all of the ISSUES with my wedding set. They were amazing. I give zero stars to head office, the jewelers who size and repair the rings and the online shop. I'm sure there are some people who take pride in their work, but none of the ones I dealt with do(and it was a lot).
