We are new to the area and have been hearing so much about City Grill. So we made reservations and we were very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere is very classy, but relaxed. The service was very attentive, knowledgeable about their specials. and made great suggestions. The food was exceptionally good! You have to try the fig pastry, it’s a must. We had a party of 7 and we were seated right on time. I would highly recommend City Grill and we will definitely be returning soon.

First thing I noticed was the atmosphere, loved it. Then we met our server, Lily, she was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She even made some suggestions & man was she right, all the way to the dessert. The food was delicious, I tried a few new things there & I loved them. Highly recommend! We will be coming back for sure!!

This is the nicest restaurant in Montgomery. Great food, innovative menu concepts but they keep the 'old favorites" too. Great wine list and penultimate service. You have to try it!

Waitress was amazing! Food was delicious! Make a reservation! You can choose outside dining, which we prefer! Brie with honey and almonds, classic, crab cake were the apps we delighted in. The main courses of our choices were the filet, perfected by the Chef! The scallops, and pasta with mushrooms and spinach was a bit more spicy than I prefer, but don't let it discourage you from the meal. Scallops were perfect! Salmon with shredded and seared Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes, just the whole time everyone was smiling and enjoying! This place is pricey but worth every penny1

Montgomery sorely needs more great restaurants, but at least we have City Grill. Steve always makes all the little things come together for an all-around exceptional dining experience. Excellent service with theb kind of friendly demeanor that is noteworthy... Like how I posted that fact right here.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent, they don't have a huge selection of wines but the ones they have are pretty good, my wife and I enjoyed every time we have dinner there.

Lamb Chops were amazing. Service by Michael was great as always. Atmosphere is private and quiet. Great chef and mixologist. Highly recommend.

Ate here for dinner recently for my wedding anniversary. It’s a very nice, relaxed space. Dress code is casual. The service was very attentive and efficient, if a bit rushed - entrees came almost immediately once we were done eating our appetizers. Before we were done eating our entrees we were asked about dessert. Would have liked a bit of time between courses. The food was nice. Best course was appetizers - that’s where they have the most options. Especially liked the fig and cheese appetizer and the smoked salmon was delicious with wonderful small pieces of bread. Overall it was nice but given the prices definitely a special occasion place.

I ordered a ribeye steak with was horrible. It had no seasoning. No taste. The drinks were also horrible I have to say that the hostess and bartender were very accommodating

Food was either great or "ok". Was in a group of 8, so we got an assortment of apps, entrées, & desserts. Tuna app was amazing calamari good, did not enjoy the crabcake, filet entrée was awesome but ribeye lacked flavor. Salt caramel crustless cheesecake was life alteringly good, other desserts were ok.

Without fail, City Grill never disappoints, and tonight was no exception. Dinner with best friends included the filet, fresh halibut with lump crab, the surf and turf and shrimp pasta with fresh basil—all of which was outstanding. Paired with Caesar salads, a crab cake and a sampling of desserts, the only thing better than dinner was the fellowship and the service. Thanks, City Grill. Outstanding once again :)

Our GNO group had a delightful meal at City Grill recently to celebrate Christmas and have our annual ornament exchange. They were so nice to allow us the private dining room - perfect size for 10-14 people. We all had different items, each was delicious, as several shared a taste with someone else. The salmon was a favorite, as was the lamb and the calamari app and the goat cheese salad! Best of all the service, even with 10 of us in the group, was excellent!

Nice cozy restaurant. Would definitely recommend it. I shall return soon!

Went here for the first time. We had an GREAT experience at this amazing culinary gem in Montgomery! They, unlike many venues in this area, have realized that reasonable prices for superb food and service are key for a successful business that people would want to come back to for more! What a great concept! Meal & service was hands down THE BEST we have had in this city.

My brother and I decided to try City Grill on New Year's Eve! What a perfect meal and night it was! We split a bottle of wine, shared the fried eggplant for an appetizer, my Fried Goat Cheese Salad And Duck were to die for and that apple dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant! We will most definitely be coming back!
