Loved everything about this cafe, nice and cozy with a fantastic menu! The coffee was also a standout, and exactly what we needed! Favourite dish would have to be the corn and pumpkin fritters, great flavour combo and the way it was all presented is incredible.

Nice and quiet little cafe with a very relaxed vibe, and staff are very attentive and lovely. I had the mushroom medley which was delicious and my friend had the chicken sandwich which was also really nice. Really generous portion sizes and food tasted amazing. Coffees were great too. Would come back!

I absolutely loved the menu, so many options that would suit all tastes and dietary requirements. I highly recommend lamb tacos and the most delicious blueberry pancakes they were my fav. We absolutely loved the smoothies, açai bowl and lamb hash too 😍 The flavours in the lamb hash were such a great combo. This place is a hidden gem. It has a nice warm atmosphere. The staffs were friendly and food was delicious. Highly recommend - Lamb benedict and Mushroom Medley - soooo delicious!

I loved this place. Big breakfast is delicious, those tiny grilled mushrooms are out of this world, the tastiest mushrooms I ve ever tried in big breakfasts. The only thing is spinach, too oily. Would probably be better to just slightly blanch it. But it didn't ruin the general impression. The food was ready in 10 minutes. And the stuff was friendly. Will definitely come again 👍🏻

There's something for everyone at The Foodstore Cafe! Whether you are popping in for one of their pastry/cakes or you are after a relaxing sit down to start your weekend this is the spot! The team here are so vibrant and friendly. Service is top notch! You can see the chefs working in the back and I caught them having a laugh which added to the overall experience. Must order | The Chilli Scrambled Eggs Overall an incredibly well run cafe with such a positive atmosphere. I'd be shocked if you had a bad experience here.

I discovered this gem a couple of months ago and I am working my way through their menu. My favourite dishes so far have been The Mushroom Medley and The Baked Eggs. The food here is delicious, very flavoursome and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they use the freshest ingredients and spices. The food and coffee here is top notch and so is the service. I have always been greeted with a smile and today when leaving I was given a berry and chocolate muffin, straight out of the oven, on the house! These boys are passionate about their business and it really shows. In my opinion this is the best cafe in Hawthorn! Do yourself a favour and pay these boys a visit, you will not be disappointed!

Stopped in for a late lunch at the Foodstore Cafe and so glad we did!! Friendly staff, amazing coffee and the food is outstanding too. Really enjoyed the beef burger and the chicken sandwich. The seasoning on the fries is also a winner! Thanks for having us 👍🏻

I write a lot of negative reviews, especially of cafes. There are standards. Therefore, it's a pleasure to be able to write a good one occasionally. For a month, I worked at the school next door to this cafe. I went to the cafe before work every day. Unlike many people in many cafes, I know what good coffee should taste like. That's why I can say the coffee in this shop is excellent. The service is too. Everyone is friendly, thoughtful and helpful. This shop has none of the warning signs you often see in bad cafes. It has a pleasant and cheery atmosphere. I didn't have a lot the food, just a few cakes and pastries, but they were freshly made and good quality. Highly recommended.

Came here for brunch with a couple of freinds. Great environment for any occasion be it formal or casual. The food was sensational, had the chef special pulled lamb sandwich and it was sensational. My friends had chilli scrambled and the mushroom medley, cant wait to visit again. Compliments to the Chefs and all the staff!

Disappointing. I booked a table through Quandoo for a brunch catch-up, it was accepted and I drove all the way here to a closed shop at 11am. Spoke to someone just before I left who said they'd informed Quandoo they're closed but our booking was accepted! It doesn't help that it makes an organiser look bad. Don't book through Quandoo.

Absolutely love the chicken sandwich – perfectly seasoned and juicy. The friendly team and welcoming atmosphere make the experience even more enjoyable. A satisfying choice that keeps me coming back for more!
