Really fun place .. what I liked was the diversity of people and age groups.. really yummy appetisers and great cocktails/ drinks menu .. friendly, helpful staff !

First time here for dinner with friends and I was unfortunately disappointed. I will start with the positives... cocktail was delicious, staff seemed friendly, security guards for safety and to check ID, heaps of tvs to watch sport (different channels of sport on). But there were too many issues to give it more than one star. Firstly, the ordering process was awkward. It was through an app and there was a discount that we could use, although we had to erase our order and do it again to get it, so we didnt bother. Secondly, we had to ask a number of times for a few things. The wait staff were busy, so I understand, but we never received a cocktail menu, and had to ask multiple times for table water. Thirdly, the food. I ordered a vegan burger, and I order a lot of vegan burgers. But the patty was terrible. It was almost like it was raw because of the texture. It stuck to your teeth and had the consistency of cat food. It was quite plain too. At a price of $25, you are better off going next door to Grill'd and spending $10 less for a MUCH nicer burger. The fries were fine. I also had some buffalo cauliflower or something and that was pretty good actually. My friend ordered the calamari and avocado bowl... which had literally zero avocado - no joke! We went digging. Although after telling the waitress she brought out a bowl or avo and apologised, so that was good. My other friends had chicken wraps and were really happy with them. So I would suggest a wrap if you wanted decent food. Fourthly, my friends decided to order another drink before we left. After 20 minutes of waiting, no drink in site, we checked the app and it said it would be ready in another 20 minutes. Which was ridiculous for a beer and cocktail. My friend went up to the bar and asked about the drinks and they were already made, they were just sitting there. So he had to bring them back to the table himself... just a bit weird that no one wanted to bring them over. So my first and last time here, was memorable for the wrong reasons. Just so disappointed at how much money the vegan burger was, it was awful! What a waste... Edit: I tried to contact the sporting globe (their reply to this post), and I missed their call. I called back, and left a message with someone, and never heard back from them.

[2nd visit - visited in Feb '22] I returned to give the place another try. This time I ordered different food and it wasn't too bad. I sat outside and I attended with kids. The kids meals were okay. We sat outside for quite a while after meals were finished as we were waiting for desserts. After quite a while I had to go inside to find someone. When I did, I was told that I was meant to allocate a time to have my desserts delivered when ordering my food in the app. Unfortunately, I didn't see that when I was ordering. I didn't realise it was like a gold class cinema session, whereby I had to specify times to deliver food. Once again, after our meals were finished, our dishes were never cleared. When desserts were delivered, the dirty dishes remained. There isn't much interaction with restaurant staff but are we expected fo clear our own dishes and find cutlery when needed? I don't understand the set up. I understand that we order and pay for drinks and food via our phones but the rest should operate as a normal restaurant. I can't imagine my parents being able to dine in this place. While waiting for dessert, the security guard sat just inside the artificial grass area and had a cigarette. The smell wofted into the outdoor dining area where we were seated. I can handle a bit of smoke but I don't really like children being exposed to cigarette smoke for no reason. Also, it is extremely unprofessional. If he wanted a cigarette break, he could have ventured outside a bit further away from restaurant diners. I will have to say that I won't return. [End of 2nd visit experience] _______________________________________ [Below is my 1st experience late 2021] The venue was good and the set up seemed pretty good but that's about it for me for the good points. The ordering system was done by phone. We were told when we were seated that a waitress would come by and explain how it works. This never happened. We ended up just ordering on our phone. We had to chase a waiter down for a jug of water and had to get someone to locate a missing drink. We were also given meals we didn't order. The serving staff were very young and possibly inexperienced. They cleared some empty dishes then didn't return for the rest; I found it a bit strange. I found the food very similar to large, American food chain restaurants. Nothing stood out for me.

I love a good calamari dish and if you wish NOT to be disappointed then do not order this! Whilst the salad was generous and tasted lovely, there were only a FEW pieces of cut calamari on top of the salad. For a meal that's beyond $20, this was robbery. The only consolation from this venue? The staff are friendly. Food wise? Not that great.

Great menu of options for both lunch or dinner, not too expensive either. Nice atmosphere in the dining area and plenty of space so didn't feel crowded ironically, even though the place was packed. Great place to catch up with friends, enjoy the footy on one of the many screens around or to just chill out with a nice meal and drink.

Had a fantastic evening with my dear mother’s group and a bonus with the venue being so nice and close to home. Can’t fault our table service Provided by Paige. Paige Explained how to order our dinner and what each dish consisted of with outstanding knowledge. Out drinks were constantly updated, and I can highly recommend the Trifecta as a dessert to share. Our meals were delicious. Thank you Paige and to Dave the friendly manager on duty. We will be back 🎄

We had our sons 1st birthday in the beautiful function room and everything was outstanding. We had to reschedule because of covid and this was a smooth and easy process. Eloise is great and very quick to reply to emails and needs. She went over and above to accommodate us. On the day everything went to plan and the service was even better! The staff are very friendly and the food was delicious. All our guests were raving on about how great the food was especially the calamari and brownies! I know a lot of them will be coming back for a bite to eat in future. Our event was very fun and we cannot recommend Eloise and The Sporting Globe enough!

We came with our kids tonight. It was great. Atmosphere was great, food was great. Our waitress phoebe was amazing. Thank you sporting globe we'll see you soon.

Visited The Sporting Globe Chirnside Park after heading to the Cinemas to see a movie. Right from the start it left a great impression, security at the door greeted us with a friendly smile and opened the door for us. We were a party of 6 and the drinks and food came out quite quickly, good atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly. The food was brilliant, had the 1kg meat platter, enough for two to share. Special shout out to Rhys and Jamie who looked after us.

A vibrant atmosphere with plenty of large screens to watch the BBL, UFC, Rugby, NFL, Golf, Racing etc. 1／2 Price Steak Tuesday so selected the Rib-eye which was cooked to perfection（medium rare） While the QR Code was completed on entry, the correct wearing of masks by staff was haphazard. Will definitely be back, but perhaps when Covid-19 restrictions are more relaxed.

I had a fantastic experience at The Sporting Globe thanks to our waitress, Ebony She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She recommended some delicious dishes and drinks that we wouldn't have otherwise tried. Her friend Jess’s service was outstanding and she made our night even better being efficient with our order orders when Ebony was not around. I would highly recommend The Sporting Globe and they’re amazing staff if they were all like these girls.

So I usually don't give 5 star reviews; not because I'm picky but because there is always something lacking. That is not the case here ! My partner and I both had the Chicken Burger and it was delicious, juicy, freshly prepared, and overall a fantastic burger. The chips and dipping sauce also complimented the dish. The chips were coated in chicken salt, and the aioli suave was the same that the burger had. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Place was super busy - but the food was fabulous and wasn't a long wait. Looking forward to trying some other dishes here. Top job to all the staff and management.

Food: It's parma or steak really but it doesn't aspire to or pretend to be anything else. It was tasty enough, with very generous portions and there was no long delay in being served. Not too badly priced. Service: Weird. We stood at the wait here to be seated sign for about 5 minutes. A staff member approached us and asked us if we had a booking, and when we said no, they just turned around and walked off without another word. The place was half empty. Someone else came along after a few minutes so all good. Atmosphere: Average, The Grill was quite noisy. There are at least 20+ TV screens showing about 3 or 4 random sports. None had volume turned on and nobody seemed to be watching any of them. The bar was not half full. Beer is a bit pricey for what it is. The male-to-female ratio was about 85:15 There are plenty of giant screens, too. A performer was playing guitar and singing but he was fighting a losing battle. There is a pool table with its own dedicated bouncer sitting and staring at the players and spectators, which was both fascinating and weird. Everyone seemed to be enjoying and behaving themselves, so it's not a bad place at all if that's your thing.

Delicious food and great service this evening. Our dishes and drinks were served promptly. Holly served us and she was kind and personable. The porterhouse steak surf and turf was great, complimented nicely by the garlic sauce on the side. Pina colada was the best I've had in ages. My only gripe: why were mozzarella sticks removed from the appetizer menu? We used to love them! 😔 Please please bring them back! Will definitely visit again 🙂

My fiancee had her 30th birthday party at Sporting Globe Chirnside Park this weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Their event coordinator, Phoebe, was so helpful at every step of the planning and on the night, Dylan coordinated the party to perfection. The function room is an excellent space for parties with a private bar, private bathrooms, a balcony, and multiple TVs to broadcast on. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful and friendly throughout the entire night. I cannot recommend organising a function here more.

First experience and loved it, but special thanks to Jack our server. Attentive, informative and wonderful customer service he offered us the whole night. Sorry we scared you and you thought we'd taken off without paying.

Saw ads for The Sporting Globe on Facebook and found out theres one close by so thought to check it out as they have specials from Mon-Thrus. Ordered online for pickup and drove all the way home to realise our cob loaf was missing. Called to tell them but the guy couldn’t care less. So I drove back to store to complain and manager was apologetic and refunded us for the cob loaf and gave us one for free but by the time we got home our wings and other food we had gone cold. Looks like an interesting place to eat but looks very expensive when no offers are on and the food was good but very average. We would go back to dine in because the customer service when going back regarding missing food was dealt with professionally.

Went today at about 1pm expecting not to get a table as I couldn't book online. Walked in and got a table for 2 and was told that we had to order online. Im not sure how non tech savvy people would go, but it was very frustrating. Check your junk box if you sign up and it sends you a confirmation email. Ordered food and drinks from the app which was very user friendly. Apart from getting to the bit where we had to pay and then told something wasn't available. Maybe make paypal available to pay for food aswell? Food came out looked fantastic but the burger as described in the online menu was not a good as it sounded. Loaded fries were great as well as the cob garlic loaf. I look forward to going back again to try some other food.

From the first time I walked into The Sporting Globe at Chirnside Park I was made to feel very welcome from Chris, he was friendly and organised. I had a work party there recently and Eloise made it all an absolute breeze to organise and everyone had a great time. I have now been there a number of times and enjoyed every visit. Laura and Chloe worked the bar nicely and knew the menu well. The food and drinks have all been amazing and I would highly recommend The Sporting Globe at Chirnside Park to anyone. All the staff are super friendly, but a special mention to those above, they have really enhanced my experiences there. Keep up the good work!

Terrible Food! Rarely do I write reviews but this place the food quality is so poor what a waste of money! They spend heaps of money on a nice fitout but dish up the such an ordinary Parma and food - Terrible...

We had Benny as our server this evening and by far the most accommodating, friendly, respectful and attentive staff member we’ve ever had at this venue! Brilliant lad, best experience at the globe we’ve had. Credit to the business and his crew. Top work Benny, hope to have the pleasure of your exemplary service next time… and ask for a promotion bro, you deserve it!!!

Place looking nice, has that American vibe and tables has a small tv screen on the wall so if you like watching sports, this is a great place. My husband has been here a few times and he said it was good, so we decided to go there with my in laws for my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately overall the foods weren’t great that night. I ordered their buffalo wings and cauliflower popcorn. I like their cauliflower popcorn, it has nice taste & a bit peppery. However the wings were disappointing. Not sure if buffalo sauce supposed to taste like that, it was so salty! I like the level of spiciness, but the saltiness and the sauce that came with it just werent a great combo, they somehow are too sour, salty and too rich. I only ordered 6 wings but only ate like 3. I can’t believe as a wing lover, I could only ate 3. And for $14 for 6 pieces (some pieces are tiny), it was definitely not a good value. My mother in law ordered sliders and she only had one out of three because she didn’t like it. I had one and I could see why. I don’t think the buns were great, and the fillings itself you can only taste the sweet bbq sauce, not much other flavour other than sweet. Took a bite of husband’s buffalo burger and I wasn’t a fan either, very sour possibly from a lot of pickles. Can’t comment for my father in law’s bacon and cheese burger since didn’t taste it, but they said it’s ok. I like their sticky date pudding, even though husband said it’s one of the most bland one he has had. We like their mocktails. But yea, I don’t think I will be back and I felt bad for taking in laws to a place where food wasnt good. Husband said he had their parmas in the past which was good so maybe stick with that if you go. Edited: Back again and tried their Hawaiian parma but I asked for no Jalapeno which apparently was in the sauce so they offered to change it to Napoli sauce. I tried it and their parma was nice. Salad could be fresher but this time I was happier with food quality. Had different mocktail that has berries in it and it was ok.

Love the Sporting Globe. Staff always friendly, beers and food always good and so easy to order. Really enjoy the setup, the music and the trivia nights too. And a special thanks to Jess for always looking after us and making sure we have a great night!

I had an excellent dining experience with Jordan as my waiter! They provided attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. Jordan was knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that perfectly suited my preferences. Their genuine smile and positive attitude created a welcoming atmosphere. I truly appreciated their professionalism and efficiency. I highly commend Jordan for their outstanding service, and I look forward to returning to the globe soon!

We had a 21st in a function room, Phoebe and the team were great to deal with and made the night run smoothly. We would definitely use their function room again. Setting up was easy and the communication with Phoebe the whole way through was great.

We had our cricket club launch last night and it ran so smoothly thanks to Phoebe and her colleagues. No request was too much for Phoebe and she helped me so much to ensure the night was the success it was. If you are having a function and want minimal stress I highly recommend using the folks at Chirnside Park. Keep up the great service.

Enjoyed myself a lovely meal and drinks tonight with mates. Impressive drinks selection along with an exciting atmosphere, charming server Zayne was very helpful with vegan options within the menu which I was very grateful for! Amazing customer service. Delicious meals. Great value. Comfortable atmosphere. Went here with my mother in law who has allergies that can be difficult to accommodate for. This place was very understanding and were very flexible with their menu . She didn’t have to miss out.

A lovely family celebration for an 18th birthday. Special mention to young Jake who served the entire table of 20 with drinks, food, delivery of cake with all the appropriate accessories for cutting and serving the cake to the entire group. He was young and very personable especially to the older members of the group. Thanks Jake you made our day. Your hard work did not go unnoticed.

Very clean. Decent food and good sized portions for kids. My only disappointment was that it was half price steak day and the only steak I was allowed to buy half price was the Porterhouse. Just call it Porterhouse half price day then.

Best serving meals in Chirnside Park, always book a table if you want to come by family because the restaurant space is busy most of the time. Otherwise, you have to get a table in the bar area. The app for ordering the food is working well, and I recommend to join to the club.

Decided to treat myself to a takeaway lunch today and so glad I went to TSG. It's been a while since I last dined there and it seems the quality and taste has increased. Every bite was delicious so big thanks to the chef's. So yummy!

We have been twice for Monday night dinner. Our waiting staff firstly Ben and secondly Gabby were most attentive and polite. The food presentation, quality and quantity was excellent and delivered in a reasonable time. We were able to easily have group conversation even though the place was fairly busy. Great menu options and value for money.

Disappointed in that our cocktails, drinks, entree & main were all served together. Dont expect the cocktails to be delivered 45 minutes after ordering. Toilets were filthy. Will not be returning.

We were there 21st Jan it was a great night we were celebrating our grand daughters 19th birthday the food was fantastic. We were all happy about that as we were all different ages Our waitress Abby was really lovely she made sure we all had what we asked for and looked after us We will definitely be back.

Went there for the first time tonight for wings and ribs night and couldn’t fault it. Food was delicious and came out hot and very quickly. The drinks all came out extremely quickly too especially with how busy it was being Australian Day eve. We were lucky to be looked after by a young lady named Maddy who explained everything to us and has great customer service (Thank you Maddy!) Cant wait to come back and try some more delicious food! Thank you for a great evening!

Ever since sporting glob (never mind my own awful experience there) it’s been hard to get parking at the smaller food shops. Not fair on them.

First time down the sporting globe, great atmosphere, great food and cocktails,our waitress Abby was fantastic,we will be back.

Food was ok but small serving for the price. Parma was tiny! Were given a 80min window to eat at time of booking due to COVID. Kitchen service was terrible. 1st meal arrived after 30mins, then within the next 15 came 2 more. The last two meals arrived roughly 30mins later. Had 3 desserts ordered with our meals for the kids which arrived 40ish minutes after that. We only received the desserts (sundaes, which is only 3 small scoops of ice cream) after we asked to cancel them, then they came immediately. Waiter was very friendly and tried his best, but was let down by the kitchen and bar. Don’t want to go back any time soon.

Have been here 4-5 times and had great meals, unfortunately today we ordered two hamburgers - mine was blue inside and the other was very pink. The waitress apologised and offered a drink but no refund. Not good enough for a local trying to support a new business.

Average food. Way too noisy. Couldn't hear friends next to me. Great for sports fans. Channels of live sport streaming everywhere. Great coverage of basketball, women's soccer and cricket when we visited.

We recently had our engagement party at the sporting globe and the staff there were incredible ! Eloise, Katelyn, Michelle and Ebony looked after us so well and we can not thank them enough for all there hard work to make our night so special !

Cool place, looks great, heaps of tv screens. Went there on a Sunday afternoon and they had live music too. Service was great, friendly and really helpful. Great menu, the burgers were amazing. Don't skip over the starter menu either. So good to have something like this in the area. Would definitely recommend.

I had the salt and pepper calamari if you could call it that. Very little calamari in what was cooked to within an inch of its life. Looked like it had been cremated. Awful meal.

Took my son there for lunch today. He got his meal very quickly and efficiently. However, my meal came out 30 mins later. He had finished his meal. Also had a lengthy wait at the bar, staff were chatting and looked at me, but didn't serve me until someone else approached the bar. Pretty disappointed. I was really looking forward to it.

On my first visit here I left with a very good impression and very keen to return! Staff were friendly and efficient. On a fairly busy Sunday night, I felt we waited a little long for our drinks but as for waiting for meals the wait time I felt was reasonable and certainly worth waiting for!!! My partner and I shared the 1kg meat board. The buffalo wings and pork ribs were to die for! Great shoe string fries with a nice seasoning. My partner felt like he could have eaten more meat but I was comfortably satisfied. We then shared the trifecta desert, sticky date pudding, choc fudge brownie and a waffle with ice cream (I've forgotten what flavour ice cream it was) but either way it totally hit the spot. We left full and happy! Can't wait to go back for some more ribs! Thanks Sporting Globe!

Ordered 6 steaks. 2 overcooked and sent back 1 overcooked but eaten as he was hungry. Do they train chefs to cook them? 1 champagne glass slid off tray and tipped over my wife's head. Again do they train kids to carry & serve drinks off tray AND cook a steak???. Round of free drinks helped but feel sorry for staff!! Come on James Sinclair CEO????

Good food, very friendly and helpful staff

Food was alright, staff were nice and friendly. Went there with a few friends and one got some semi frozen wedges, mostly cooked but cold and a little icy on the inside. My Parma was ok, chicken a bit dry, overall pretty mediocre. Chips were excellent though. Public holiday surcharge of 15% was a bit steep but understandable, though I would have wanted better food for the money. Nice atmosphere though.

Visited this establishment for the first time last night. Something needs to change with regards to service. There isn't any. They don't explain that you must order through the app when they seat you. All they say is that drinks can be ordered at the bar or via the app. Once our table had ordered individually there was absolutely no urgency to get drinks or food out. Half of my table had received drinks after 15 minutes whist food started coming out for the other half before their drinks had even come. I would say another at least 15 minutes passed before the drinks and remaining dishes were served. Making it about 25 minutes from when drinks were first ordered. Very poor service. Then it took at least another hour before anything was cleared from the table. In order for diners to have a more enjoyable experience, I suggest service standards are raised immediately. Your structure of ordering may work well for the waitors but nor the diners. Food tasted ok. Nothing to rave about.

Awesome food, great atmosphere

Great looking place & friendly staff. 5 stars for service but only a 3 for meals. The meals are small in size and was really disappointed at the size of burgers , more like mini burgers to be honest then also the sparse serving of chips. Thought a a porter house steak meal at $35 would be a more generous serving but nope not to be . Even the salad was a few green leaves . Same deal with dessert, just small serving size. I just think the meals are overpriced for the servings. Id say the wings as an entree were the only things that didn't disappoint price.

Came here for lunch. Service was friendly. Ordered the chicken Parma with Buffalo sauce. Chicken was dry and over cooked. No Buffalo sauce to be found. A very disappointing experience.

We had a great time, our meals were nice, drinks were good, service was excellent, took us a whilst to work out the app order, no problem staff walked us through it.

Dinner on a Sunday night for 4 people - all enjoyed our meals, especially the steaks. The service, food and venue was great. The only negative was how loud the venue was due to the live music in the bar area. The music was great and but it was way too loud when trying to have a conversation especially when we weren't even in the bar area.

I love their steak on Tuesday special! Mushroom sauce is the best for steak so far. You can change the sides with extra cost. Additionally, you can also order pint beer or wine for small additional cost. Some of you might be disappointed how much chips you get when you order the steak but for me there were more enough amount. The restaurant is quite new clean and there are lots of screen to enjoy watching sports. App order is quite easy and quick. Customer service is also good. I can't wait to try other menus in the restaurant.
