Bad-bad-bad road until you reach destination. Problems with electricity, no heater in bathroom, but found two spiders in shower, maybe they can heat a little bit the cold mountain air... Anyway, it is a quiet place (maybe 'cause is hard to reach), it is very relaxing in the middle of nature, awesome landscapes, fresh air, but it doesn't deserve more than 2 stars.

We had a team building here. The pension was ok, rustic furnished and somehow classic. The service is good, not something to write home about it. What I liked is that it was done fast and without too much fuss. Food is served hot and has the specific taste of the region. Location has a great view, the road however is unpaved in the last 2 km and you need to be careful. We made a big camp fire that was great. Can't recommend "the ciubar" as it was not in it's best shape. Also near the playground there is a small pond full of frogs that smells awful.

The owners are very friendly but this would be the only positive. Everything related to the property is as cheep as it can be. Water pressure is extremely low so having a shower is a challenge. The heat is quite low and almost everything in the room or bathroom is one step away from falling apart. We stood there for three nights and no towels ware changed. The food is ok'ish. In no way good but not bad either. But, very expensive for what you get. The coffee is bad, the breakfast mediocre so all in all... I wouldn't recommend.

Pet friendly

What a peaceful place. If you want to disconnect and enjoy the nature, there you go! The room was clean with a nice view from the balcony, the staff was very friendly and last but not least… THE FOOD was AMAZING😱😍🔥. We enjoyed our morning walk in the nature surrounding by the noise of cows and the owner dog as a private security guard 🐶🥰 We will definitely come back!

The location is more than ok, there is a nice view from the place to the valleys that surrounds it. The road is unpaved but that makes the fun of the short trip going uphill as leaving the asphalt road. Food is plenty and fresh cooked. Rooms are clean and one can see the owner is paying attention to the quests. There is also an option to rent the whole villa with the employees ready to help you out. Overall is a 4* and a bit more.
