One of the must visit street for buying souviners and Russian vodka. The place has plenty of stores . don't buy in small stores as they will cheat you. Always buy in big stores where the prices are half than what you buy on the street . a huge collection of vodkas where prices range from 250 rubles to 1400 rubles are also there.

Arbat is very popular street. Always happening place. Many shops, brands are located and you can find some iconic buildings with great architectural facades. Great Russian Poet Pushkin's House is on this street only. Length of this street is around 1 km and its one of the oldest survived iconic street. Since around 15th century.

Nice place to spend evening In the 18th century, the Russian nobility came to regard the Arbat as the most prestigious living area in Moscow. Almost completely destroyed by the great fire of 1812 associated with Napoleon's occupation of Moscow, the street required rebuilding. In the 19th and early 20th centuries it became known as a place where petty nobility, artists, and academics lived. In the Soviet period, it housed many high-ranking government officials. As of 2016, the street and its surroundings are undergoing gentrification, and it is considered a desirable place to live. Because of the many historic buildings, and due to the numerous artists who have lived and worked in the street, the Arbat has also become an important tourist attraction.

It is one of the oldest shopping streets in Moscow. It is so beautifully decorated that you would enjoy mere walking down the street. You can also shop for souvenirs, chocolates and Vodka.

I don't know him but I prefer to buy the souvenir, Russian dolls, from this man rather than the shops around there.

Great shopping and residential street in Moscow City center. We stayed in an accommodation in Arbat which provided us with all the convenience and amenities any one visiting a foreign land can ever wish for. A wide range of restaurants, bars and eateries for all tastes and budgets. Supermarkets open till late. 5 mins from Arbatskaya (sp?) metro station 25 mins walk from the Kremlin and the main historic touristic areas. 1 hour away from Vnukovo airport. Nice and easy transfer. I highly recommend a visit to Arbat for a pleasant stroll, to buy souvenirs, postcards etc... there's even a post office right there to buy stamps and mail.
