The
Harvest
Restaurant
at
Shasta
Inn
exceeded
our
expectations
and
provided
a
much-needed
respite
after
a
long
day
of
hiking.
We
were
pleasantly
surprised
by
the
quality
of
the
food,
which
was
full
of
flavor
and
expertly
prepared.
We
started
with
the
spicy
mussels
and
the
ahi
tuna
dip.
The
mussles
were
a
tad
over
cooked
but
still
a
great
starter.
The
tuna
dip
was
paired
with
delicious
wonton
chips.
For
our
main
courses,
we
decided
to
try
the
fried
chicken
and
the
short
rib
roast.
Both
dishes
were
expertly
cooked
and
absolutely
delicious.
The
fried
chicken
was
crispy
and
juicy,
with
a
flavorful
breading
that
added
just
the
right
amount
of
crunch.
The
mac
and
cheese
as
a
side
was
amazing!
Perfect
comfort
food
dish.
The
short
rib
roast
was
tender
and
succulent
with
mash
potatoes
making
it
a
perfect
dish.
Our
waiter,
Trevor,
was
attentive
and
friendly,
making
us
feel
welcome
and
at
home.
The
cozy
ambiance
by
the
fireplace
added
to
the
overall
experience.
Highly
recommend
Harvest
to
anyone
visiting
the
area.
It
is
on
the
pricier
side.
With
delicious
food,
good
service,
and
a
cozy
ambiance,
it's
the
perfect
spot
to
unwind
after
a
long
day
of
hiking
or
exploring
the
surrounding
area.
