We stopped at the The Oven Bakery during our Summer road trip from Tigard, OR through Northern California. We stayed in Mount Shasta a couple of days to hike the amazing trails that are nearby. We found the eateries in Mount Shasta to be great overall and the Oven Bakery is no exception! My wife bought the almond croissant and it is phenomenal. It is so light and airy and has an amazing flavor. We are big fans of almond desserts. Definitely give them a try.

Awful place! Paid $12 for two almond croissants that were old, stale and hard. Had to throw them away. The counter guy appeared to be in a bad mood. Not even a chair to seat down and no tea. If you're in Mount Shasta, avoid this place like the plague!

This is exactly the top of shop you want to run across in the early morning. I had the blueberry scone and I appreciated that it wasn’t too sweet. Coffee was fresh poured and full of flavor. I asked for cream but got whole milk. I would have gladly paid for cream

You cannot make a better cherry or apple turnover. I think I’m a pretty good judge I’ve been to a lot of countries and it’s good to know right in my own backyard is the best bakery on Earth. There’s something about that oven and dedicated owners. I’d show you a photo of the turnovers but I ate them.

Great bread probably the best bakery out this way is pretty rural. Unfortunately there are no dairy free options for things like scones etc. Lol I wanted to buy some dough to make cinnamon rolls they wouldn't sell it I feel like that's silly a bakery would profit off selling some raw dough...

Best bread in Siskiyou County. The mixed grain sourdough is our favorite. The only downside is the bag seal tape.

Every year when we’re visiting town my partner and I come here early in the morning for one of their savory scones. It’s such a cute little place, and they have the best pastries ever. The maple scone dipped in coffee is really good too. And the staff is super nice!

Words are not enough to express how delicious, decadent, and amazing these cakes are. We purchased 4 of them for our wedding, and each one was more amazing and delicious than the last. The quality and care put into these cakes far surpasses any expectations. Tiffany is a superb chef of the highest caliber. Thank you, The Oven Bakery, for making our wedding the wedding of our dreams.

Got a cheddar jalapeño scone this morning. Chalky brandish. 4.50 wasted

We had delicious scones and pour over coffee. Take a break from the highway or stop here before you hit the road - one scone goes a long way! New owner as of 9 months ago.

This is a great bakery with amazing scones and much more. The sourdough and other types of bread are also very good and you can get them from either the bakery directly or the nearby grocery store. If you are only planning to get 1 thing, try the blueberry scone :)
