A great public course. Fairways and greens kept in good condition ⛳️🏌️🏻‍♂️ 🥧 Good range of food, pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches. 💰 Well priced for 9 & 18 for a good course. 🤵 Nice and friendly staff. 🏎 Plenty of parking outside.

Groundskeeper shows absolutely no respect for golfers - after so many bad experiences with the bloke I’m finished playing here. The last straw was him rolling our green in our eyeline while we were trying to putt and he even yelled at me to hurry up while I was standing over a putt. We were happy to wait and let him do his thing but he insisted we continue to play and did the same thing on the next green. I’ve seen the same bloke yelling at minors that didn’t know how to play around him after he didn’t give way to them on the 18th. It’s almost like he wants to get in your way just so he can get agro. The rest of the staff are great, but this one bloke and his bad attitude ruins the place for me.

Malvern Valley Public Golf Course is a very nice golf course between the Gardiners Creek, Glen Waverley Railway Line and the Monash Freeway. The course consists of the front 9 holes which are on the Eastern side of the course and the back 9 holes which are on the Western side of the course. Bookings are required to play on the Malvern Valley Public Golf Course. Overall it is a very nice course and would recommend!

First time visitor (playing 9 holes). Impressive. Course in good condition. Well kept fairways and light rough. Greens quick and even. Enough parking. Good tempo for play. No holdups. Not as long as courses we tend to play and could be less expensive! But overall, we did enjoy our (short) round!

The grounds keeper is a real beauty, I walk my dog there each day, also being a public park and I'm respectful to golfers but the grounds keeper took the gate away because I shut it to stop the dogs running onto the road. There has been 3 dogs killed on the road so he said to me if I keep shutting the gate he would remove it and he did. Pretty poor attitude, I very rarely go there anymore. They abuse golfers all the time and people who walk there dogs there.

Poor experience with the middle aged guy at the counter, terrible attitude, going mad on me. Poor tees as well, only three 5pars holes, plus the green was full of sand, which is very slow. Lots of better course at the price of $31, wouldn’t recommend this course. 👎👎👎

Enjoyable 18-hole course with good pro shop, putting green, and practice nets. Also has a good spot for a pre/post pie and beer in the sun. Was in good condition when played Sep23

Lovely friendly staff with coffee facilities, small pro shop and clean toilets. The course is great for beginners with a few par 4s. Very scenic and fortunately not too much water ! Gets busy as great value for money

One of Melbourne's best public courses. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, very good facilities, and the course is well-maintained. Not overly long but the defences are strong.

Great gold course to bring the kids who can hit OK on driving range. Some nice longer par 4 and par 5s makes it a real step up over Oakleigh. Was very wet mid winter and a bit muddy but grass still kept up surprisingly well even if most bunkers were dead.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, plenty of walking tracks, well set out. Signage everywhere.

If you're looking for an affordable and enjoyable round of golf, Malvern Valley is the a great choice. Depending on traffic, 18 holes would take 4 hours (smooth traffic) - 6 hours (heavy traffic). The course is in good condition all year round. The fairways are always well-manicured, and the greens are in fantastic shape. Back 9 is shorter than the front 9 but greens are more challenging on the back 9. Online bookings only.

Challenging course with narrow and meandering fairways with a couple of water hazards. Tee boxes aren’t maintained well though but I don’t blame the groundskeeper as the flight before us were practicing and created a dozen divots without repairing any. Couldn’t find white tee boxes on quite a few holes so that took up some of our time. All in all it was an enjoyable game in spite of the tee boxes.

Malvern Valley public golf course was great price and very friendly service. The course it self well the tee off boxes quite ordinary the fairways green most times had good lie as for the greens good size well maintained. Very slow play when we played and people’s common sense to let other players through, well there just wasn’t any.

Nice and short - tricky holes, but I love it. Not very engaged with people at Pro shop, but they do the job perfectly. There are plenty of item you can buy and amazing booking system they have started using it!!!!Short at front 9 and a bit longer at back 9

Great course with friendly staff who are very aware of the precautions around COVID-19. The course is quite wet however and the drainage system could be improved. Unfortunately, people don't replace their divots or fill them in however you can't blame the club for that.

Price was was fine however not sure if they maintain the grass much on the course. Fairways seemed quite long in the grass almost like I was hitting out of the rough yet I was playing from the fairway... could be better if maintained better

Love this course. Always well maintained and fun for 9 or 18. Semi challenging but whole lot of fun.

Loved the course. The greens are fantastically maintained and the fairways are wide. Perfect for a round on a sunny day. We even got the buggy which was handy. Would definitely like to b come a regular here

I accidentally came across this hidden gem with my young son. I was disoriented while wondering aimlessly and one of the groundsmen (Dan or Dean?) pointed me towards the quickest exit towards my home. He even let my son sit on the tractor and lifted the bucket and made his day!

😐 Food tastes great 👍 they sure love their spices and I like the kick of it. Fish and pork tacos were great but chorizo taco wasn't good because of the rubbery texture skin. It was unpleasant to eat. Corn chips were a bit stale and guacamole was bland. Service was okay. We gave the feedback to a sta...
