You get exactly what you pay for. €40 gets you a clean room and you have to share toliets and showers with other guests. It's very hot here in the summer.

Was expecting a budget experience but this one was even worse. rooms are adjacent to a parking lot and are very noisy. Groups of people hanging around right outside of our window all night, and someone yelling on the phone until 3am. I heard multiple people complaining about the noise and cigarette smoke but nothing was done about it. Walls are extremely thin, rooms are too tiny to move around in with more than one person, bathrooms are really too small for comfort. Shared bathrooms have no sink, we didn't receive any towels. Location is far from many amenities.

I think it's exactly as it looks! I really simply, a private room at a good price at only 15m walk from the airport! Don't expect anything luxurious, fancy rooms but a clean basic one. Let's be honest you don't expect more than basic things for the price of 55e for a private room!! I would recommend avoiding the top floor rooms during hot days as it gets super super hot inside the rooms!!

Huone oli pieni ja ilma oli huono. Homeen haju. Yhteis WC sekä pesuhuone tyyppiä Pajamaja. Äänieristys oli todella huono ja myöhään illalla oli varsin kova meteliä. Tapetit ahdistavat.Ainoa positiivinen asia Pizza ja vastaanottovirkailija tullessa . Hänen palveluhenkusyys ja kielitaito. Aamupala 5,5€ oli tyypillinen ranskalainen; marmeladia, patonkia ja paljon makeeta syömistä.

I don't understand the low reviews. My stay was perfect! Friendly staff, everything clean, the most comfortable clean bed, great room and clean bathrooms. The sleep was great and so was the great breakfast. You get a lot what you pay for and i'd reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Basel on a budget. Really can't think of a single con. Only pros!

Terrible hotel and horrible service. After doing check in we go to our room, and it looked nothing like the pictures. The beds had the cheapest mattresses I’ve ever seen. On top of that, there were hairs in the sheets and even dead flies! Of course I realized that I didn’t want to spend the night there so I went back to reception to say I wanted to cancel the overnight stay and get my money back. The receptionist accepted and told me I would get my money back. Almost one month later I’m still waiting for the refund… they cheated me?? Please think about it twice before going to this hotel.

It's my place eveyrtime i go to Italy. For what i need...i cannot ask for more: private bathroom, super clean bed, warm room, tv, and even breakfast (i even forgot ahha). almost instant check in, receptionists were super kind, and smiling which is very very important. and private parking. thank you, F1 !!

We just escaped from this hotel after spending 10 minutes inside. Long just enough to find other hotel online, with my head outside the window, because of the smell. Sticky table, window and door knobs. Damaged mirror, electric cables sticking out the bedframe. Shared showers and toilets in corridor. The light in the toilet turns off after 10 seconds inside and no sink to be found. Shame, there is no option to give 0 stars.

Rooms were clean, but the toilets and bathrooms were very very dirty. Sticky urine on the floor, walls and toiletseat. Staff that isn't interested and is insulting guests who they think don't speak french.

Stayed there for a night during a tour. Rooms are small, but rather clean and tidy. Mattresses are thin and hard. There is free WiFi, toilets are are sometimes clean, sometimes dirty, but all in all ok. Breakfast buffet is not expensive and all you can eat/drink. All in all it's ok!

The room was tiny, the floor had not been brushed. The receptionist that was at the desk when we arrived, in the evening, was very kind and helpful, but the receptionist that came after him, at night, was really rude, impolite and bad mannered.

Very basic, lot of rumors, even on the quiet rooms.

Helin at the front desk was one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. She helped me and my friends get a nice room and get used to the accommodations in no time. The hotel is clean and i had a great time here.

Rooms were basic, however our biggest concern was hygiene and the state of the toilets and the lack of hand washing facilities in toilets
