I found El Sazon de Edmar at the Mundelein Munch last weekend and went back today. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Had the pupusa, huaraches and the and molotes. All were amazing. So fresh and delicious. Next level goodness and such friendly staff. Wish I could give them 10 stars on google. Can't wait to go back.

It's really like getting a family meal. Everything we have tried is top notch quality and flavor. So glad we tried them, we went back three times in three weeks. Papusas are my favorite since I haven't had any this good in so long.

My wife and kids came to this little hidden place in Mundelein. We were a little nervous as we don’t really to eat the Mexican restaurants around the area. This little restaurant by far is the BEST we have ever tried!!! I would totally recommend it. My kids loved the food, they even asked for seconds and that is not something usual from them. Totally recommend this place for anyone that wants to try authentic mexican food. The please is delicious, clean, small but with GREAT service.

My wife and I just stopped here after Nana’s Rum Cakes to support our local food companies. They have great popusas, tacos, and quesadillas. All homemade and fresh. Will definitely go again.

They where at the mundelein munch days and they where not ready at 12:00. So I went back to get a Chicago dog and a Mexico corn , the hot was cold and the corn was cold also. For the money you spend for food it should at least be hot , and when I went there the first time all the employees where on there phone and not waiting on customers. I would not recommend there food at all for anyone.

If you are looking for some bomb tamales, look no further. This small hidden gem makes some of the best tamales in the area. From green, red, or mole ( made to order) you will not be disappointed. They also make popusas, quesadillas with had made Tortillas and other hispanic delicacies.

I ordered a pupusa de chicharron as well as a quesadilla. They were both delicious! Great quality food!
