Quite small and, perhaps, the ugliest/worst design for a Carturesti I have seen so far. Actually, this is the third large-scale ”incarnation” of Carturesti City Park Mall (for a while, it was reduced to a single stand near the main entrance). The original one had view to the lake and was the largest bookstore in the city. The second one turned out a lot smaller and the layout was horrible, but at least it was a perfect ”L” shape and there was a teastore that functioned as a decent space for events. This new space (which might actually be a bit larger than the previous one, as it feels more ”empty”) has no teastore (just packaged tea), no proper space for events, which have to be improvised... Libraria Dorian Gray and Pravalia cu Carti are the two downtown spaces that I would rather recommend, though there are some publishing houses (like Vellant, Black Button Books and IDEA) whose books still can only be found through Carturesti!
