If you think staying at home while its pouring is the best way to do it, think again. Despite the rain, we still enjoyed our meal outside of Brasserie Julia. Happily, they have enough tables for those who do not have reservations. Staffs were friendly and we enjoyed the food. Biestuk van de ossenhaas (met pepersaus) is really tender and juicy! And the creme brûlée is simply magnificent.

Food was good, I'd give it an 8. The service however was horrendous. Slow, cold and incompetent. Also despite the restaurant being almost completely empty, we still got some of the worst seats on the terrace. So a one time thing definitely.

Delicious goat cheese salad and coffee. Limited veggie options, and staff seemed overworked.

Waited 5 minutes to get noticed despite the staff welcoming us. Asked for drinks and food menu, this was provided. We made a choice but again kept waiting to be noticed to place our order. Eventually walked out to the restaurant next door and was served immediately.

First of, the staff was really nice. However the food and coffee was sloppy. The condiments served with the food looked like it was left out side the fridge voor 5 days.

It took almost 2 hours to deliver a couple of burgers! We were visiting Brasserie Julia on a warm Saturday night with 3 children and 4 adults. They reserved us a table out on the front of the restaurant which was nice considering the warm weather. Since we were with children most of us ordered the 'American Burger'. Then a very long wait began. We had to wait almost 2 hours for the burgers to arrive. The staff did apologise for the long wait and offered us complementary coffees. However that did not make up having to wait 2 hours for a couple of burgers. Got reservations at 6:30 and left at 9:30 only having eaten a burger and drank a cup of coffee. Not worth the wait. Also glad we did not order the more expensive dishes.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Burgers are good quality and perfectly seasoned and steaks are cooked exactly as requested. Service was friendly and professional too.

Very good service, very nice terrace. The food is also delicious, I highly recommend the varied fish garnishes.

Nice place and terrace, for lunch or dinner. At Almere haven, with a good view on the waterfront.
