Varied landscape with height differences and views of the lake. Dry hard sandy soil, so suitable even in wet times. Suitable for short and longer walks up to 5 kilometers. Be careful of cyclists on the path along the lake. During the week you can park comfortably at the hockey club. There is also a bus stop. Well organised!

A wonderful place to walk between meadows and forest. There are beautiful viewpoints over the Gooimeer. Dog owners please keep their dogs on the paths!

Nice place to relax after the office. Can make different routes - either short or long ones. Before the time change after 5 pm I could make 10-12000 steps still in daylight. Now in November, that is not possible anymore. It is fully dark at 17.15h :(

Amazing piece of nature, dogs are allowed to be off leash and can walk for hours among fields and in the forest. A beautiful place to be, I drive here almost every day from Almere to enjoy the peace.

Prachtig stukje natuur in de drukke randstad. Helaas wil een projectontwikkelaar aan de rand daarvan een fors flatgebouw gaan bouwen, waartegen de Gemeente Huizen zich gelukkig verzet. Nu de gemeente Gooise Meren nog. Maar voor die laatste gemeente ligt dit plan op de verste grens van haar gebied, dus weet je het nooit.....
