Absolutely amazing. I always love handmade craft by local and it's great to see the behind-the-scenes. A must visit for those interested in learning about Nan's cultures and way of life. Khun Sakorn, along with staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend taking a Thai friend along so they can help translate as the staff isn't well versed in English.

They really preserve the beauty of this place. They also explain every detail! The rope-like seat for elephant ride amazes me much.

A nicely perserved home of former Nan Noble. There are many artifacts and photos from the past making it very interesting. For the small entry fee it is worth a short visit to see a bit of Thai history.

The time is set 9:00 am but it was 9:05 am, nothing prepared to get ready for the visitor. So poor administration. There’s no parking!!! Just let the visitor to park along the neighborhood’s house. So annoying for the people nearby. This place isn’t worth to support because of it doesn’t think about the other’s convenience. The entrance fee is 30THB.

I had a look around here not knowing much about the Lanna style house or history. It's a nice old house to look around and a lady down the bottom will show some weaving and music but not talking English was hard for me to understand.

A beautiful, authentic and well-preserved Lanna style house with valuable collections of the owner. On the ground under the house is a place to demonstrate fabric weaving, guests can also buy clothes from weaved fabric there.

This was a wonderful exhibit of Thai life. Albeit a wealthier life, it was great to see the displays. Aside from the obvious beauty in design of the house, and its furnishings; this museum-house takes it up a notch with the women who illustrate by doing, some of the handicrafts needed to maintain and clothe the household. They have beautiful textiles one could buy. If our suitcase wasn’t already overweight, I would have bought more! We enjoyed the explanations of the spinning and weaving. One lady has been a weaver since she was eight years old and she is in her senior years like me! The project she is working on below will take a month to finish!

This is the place to learn about Northern Thai culture, through the staff who has good knowledges about the places and other aspects of Nan people's daily lives.

A typical Nan Nobel wooden house with some family collection. If you have some spare time, you can pay a visit. But not a must go place. You can donate 20 baht for them as the admission ticket. I think on the second floor the light is so gloomy that I can not read very clear about the introduction even the owner kindly translated some key information into English. This it is a pity because I really do not understand what is the stuff displayed due to lack of light. The ground floor has few old weaving machine which you might see it also in some villages in Nan.

Well kept and maintained traditional Norther style Thai house. Both the collections themselves and presentation by the staff are amazing. Should visit.

Cool little place. Can easily be done in a short amount of time . Woman downstairs shows weaving demonstration (turning cotton into yarn) as well as musical demonstration. Small store downstairs. Upstairs is a small museum of sorts with artifacts and coins and model furniture in the rooms of a traditional teak house . We spent 30 minutes here . 20 baht per person donation recommended
