It's
a
beautiful
square
separated
by
the
stunning
Arc
Héré
and
Rue
Héré
from
the
spectacular
Stanislas
square.
It
was
so
named
as
it
was
historically
a
place
to
have
one
makes
a
career
from
chivalrous
exercises,
tournament,
etc.
This
sixteenth
century
urban
square
is
framed
by
the
the
gorgeous
Government
palace
and
the
Parc
de
la
Pépinière
to
the
right
of
this
square.
Also
important
places
here
are
the
Place
d'Alliance
with
the
fountain
by
Paul
Louis
Cyfflé,
the
old
Merchants
Exchange
building,
the
Hôtel
de
Morvilliers,
the
Héré
pavilion
and
the
Beauvau
Caron
Hôtel
(A
private
mansion).
It's
a
widely
used
square
especially
in
the
summer
months
for
all
kinds
of
public
events
and
especially
during
the
festive
season
when
it's
used
as
a
Christmas
market.
