Super super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean and high tech. Breakfast although not with too many choices, is delicious with fresh fruit. Hotel is located in a 10 minute walking distance from La Défense metro station. Strongly recommended...

This hotel made the best experience of my trip to France. I was in a bad mood yesterday because my wife was pickpocketed, but the kindness of the hotel staff, Victor Hugo, changed my impression of Paris. I have never experienced such hospitality in any hotel I have visited.

Very nice hotel! You feel comfortable in the rooms and the „living room area“. The personal is very nice and helpful. You get a lot of value for your money. The metro station is about 300m away so you can reach it easily. My girlfriend’s birthday was during our stay and there was a little surprise from the hotel waiting for us in our room :-) Amazing!

I stayed for 2 nights here, first time at Citizen M. The room was nice and staff was very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my breakfast there, it was really good! My room had a nice view and it was quiet outside (opposite of the arena). The whole automation thing was a hit and miss -- check in process was a bit buggy (the passport scanner got stuck for a little while) and I could not cast video from my phone to the TV 😕 The window cannot be open (or at least I didn't see how to do it) and the air conditioning cannot be turned off completely, there's always a fan working at low noise. The location is accessible by metro and train, it takes about 30mins to get to Louvre for example. There aren't any great places to eat around the hotel. Overall, I think it's great for a short stay if you don't mind traveling to the city center.

CitizenM La defense is a great hotel with high level of cleanliness, customer care, great view of the Arena, budget friendly, great food, accessible from the metro. Honestly I didn’t find any mistake with this hotel and I highly recommend anyone to check it out. I also got English speaking people at the reception France being a French speaking country. It’s a 6 Star for me👌

This was my first time at this chain, and I very much enjoyed it! Ussai was a great help when I checked in, and Nicholas was also very kind and considerate when I checked out. It’s a great vibe with an exciting atmosphere, while being calming and inviting at the same time. Definitely would recommend!!

Located at La Defense with a parking garage underneath the hotel. As usual clean rooms, comfy and spacious enough for a long weekend in Paris. Nearby shops, mall and metro makes this ideal for a trip to Paris. 15 minutes by metro to the city centre.

Great hotel for the business district of Paris. The hotel is quite high tech, using the ipad to control everything I didnt like that the sink is outside the bathroom pod but it's a small detail Rooms were small but perfectly formed. No wasted space but didn't feel too cramped. Good bed The breakfast was very good, a wide selection to choose from

Stayed here for work and was pleasantly surprised with it’s facilities, the modern design of the room and the cleanliness. Fun atmosphere in the bar and breakfast had all you might need. Plus side: bed was super comfortable! Would recommend!

The hotel has an innovative midset seen through its decoration, high tech controls via IPad for your room, very good customer service, happy and kind employees. Check this hotel out if you want to see people doing things in a new fashion.

Business trip. Not fan of the self checking in/out, neither the ipad to control the bedroom. Bedroom is really tiny and set up is weird. Food (diner) is not cooked on site. Room is quiet if you stay away from the lift. Breakfast is good with great staff but limited tables (ended eating at the bat). Top location. So on overall pricey for what you get.

Nice hotel located in Paris La Défense , 5 min away from les quatre temps commercial center. Rooms are a bit small , but they are designed to be compact and they offers enough comfort. My stay of 6 days was nice . You can find more pillows below the bed. The breakfast is nice.

Citizen M hotel in La Défense is an exceptional hotel that truly delivers on its promise of providing a unique and innovative experience. As soon as you step into the lobby, you are greeted by a vibrant and modern space that sets the tone for the rest of your stay. The rooms are designed with the utmost attention to detail, and every inch of the space has been utilized effectively. The bed is comfortable, the shower is powerful, and the ambient lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. One of the standout features of Citizen M is their innovative use of technology. Each room is equipped with an iPad that allows you to control everything from the temperature to the TV channels, making your stay as seamless and hassle-free as possible. The hotel also provides free high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring that you can stay connected throughout your stay. The hotel's location in La Défense is also a significant advantage, providing easy access to the heart of Paris while still maintaining a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The nearby metro station makes it easy to explore the city's many attractions, while the hotel's proximity to the business district makes it an excellent choice for those travelling on business. The staff at Citizen M are also exceptional, providing friendly and attentive service that truly enhances the guest experience. From the moment you arrive until the time you depart, you are made to feel welcome and valued, with every need and request catered to promptly and efficiently. The only minor drawback of Citizen M is the lack of on-site dining options, but this is easily remedied by the abundance of nearby cafes and restaurants. In conclusion, Citizen M hotel in La Défense is an outstanding hotel that delivers an innovative and unique experience. With comfortable rooms, cutting-edge technology, an ideal location, and exceptional service, it is undoubtedly worth a 4-star review.

Great hotel, breakfest is buffet for 17 euro with small variety of things to eat, answers your need if you are short in time in the morning(its open from 6 to 11 am). The staff were very nice, they know English and gladly assisted with everything I needed. The hotel is in a centeral place, 8 minutes walk from metro and train, 6 minutes walk from biggest mall in paris, 30 minutes train from center of paris and 1 hour train from the airport, great location. It was not that expensive relative to other hotels in paris. I highly recommend you to check it out.

Visited for business in June, arrival and checkin was swift and quickly up and into my room. First time staying at a CitizenM so didn’t really know what to expect apart from small rooms. Yes, the rooms are small, I wouldn’t want to spend any length of time in it, however they have everything you need and are well equipped. (Ironing room is on each floor I found out later). The staff were excellent, in particular the male barista at breakfast, very pleasant, made a great flat white, and remember my name the days I was there! While on breakfast, has to be one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve had while abroad for work, the scrambled eggs and salmon were very good! Location was ideal for what I needed, around a 10/15mins walks into La Defence area for meetings, from the main la Defense station you can go pretty much anywhere, around 15/20mins into the centre of Paris. Unfortunately I had a strange experience with the cleaner, after chapping my door repeatedly, (I was sleeping) I advised I didn’t need my room cleaned, only just a towel change, he argued and argued he must clean my room and his manager needs to complete a check on his work or he will get in trouble, just when I thought I’d got rid of him (and returned to lie down), he opened my door and proceeded to start cleaning! At this point I just let him do what he needed to do, however, this could have been a very diffident situation. Again, a very good stay and the staff were great and would recommend/return (and probably will) so didn’t want this to deter anyone reading this.

Rooms are standard tiny, but in the hotel at Charles de Gaul there was more channels on the TV. Breakfast was minimum but don’t expect to much. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful.

Bit of a mixed bag this one.. and let me tell you why. On the plus side there's location. It's within very easy walking distance of my office there. And there's very friendly staff, unusually friendly for Paris in fact. Also the whole place including my room was exceptionally clean, german standard clean. But there's some caveats.. Checkin is supposed to be self service but staff is on hand to help. Needed because the process is not at all simple especially the first time. Also it means your room gets assigned at random really. I like higher floors and a room at the end of the corridor. What I got was directly opposite the elevator on the 2nd floor. The bar/reception area has a constant mix of mellow dance music that's just loud enough to get on my nerves, especially in the morning. The websites states: 24/7 food & drinks which in practice means that after 2230 the food is some chips for sale and after midnight same goes for the drinks. Bar is too hip to have printed menus, everything is with a QR code which I hate with a passion. Food ordered means when your buzzer goes off you have to fetch it. And clear your tray into a cart. Not quite what I'd expect at their prices. Breakfast has a barista taking your room number and making a fresh coffee on a good espresso machine. Shame she's prone to shouting room numbers in French. I'd have been just as happy with a mug of filter coffee that's actually hot. Food selection is fairly basic. There's basic English breakfast fixings. Only 2 kinds of bread and good croissants. Weird muesli but good yoghurt. Haven't discovered any fresh fruit but there was really decent smoked salmon. All in all, seemed a bit of a random selection Room... My room was, well, small. Big enough for 1 person if you just sleep there but that's it really. Big bed for sure but not really intende dfor two. Even just one reading light at the bed. Room is pretty high tech, an ipad controls everything. You can also download an app but that means you automatically opt-in to their marketing (pretty shady move in these GDPR times). Still it works well with the tablet. Alarm means that on the set time all the lights go on. The TV is big and has a very nice selection of non-French channels and it allows easy chromecast. There's a tiny but silent fridge. Climate control is actually pretty good. Normally aircon during the night gives me a serious sinus problem but not this one. Also clever to have the blinds lower when you switch off the lights upon leaving the room. Bathroom... tiny. The shower door leaks. The "jungle-like power shower" means a rain shower and a lose shower-head. So you either get trickled on or you have to hose yourself down. The sink is in a cabinet in your room. The hotel seems to do a lot of repeat business. If it wasn't so very conveniently located I'd say this was my first and last time. Now I may deal with my dislikes as a trade for a 90 second commute.

What a fun and friendly hotel! Staff were superb, everyone working there was friendly. The rooms were perfect for what we needed. Quite compact but enough space for a city visit. Very comfortable bed. Powerful shower. Will be using this brand again, I hope.

We enjoyed staying once again in CitizenM (last time, we stayed in their hotel in Geneva). The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip in Paris. Rooms are very clean and bed was super comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely terrace and cool sitting areas indoors (in case it rains) which is perfect especially after a long day in the city. Will definitely book this hotel (or any of their branches) in the future.

Excellent staff here. The room and bathroom is very very small, but very clean and modern. Super cute restaurant/bar/common area. Didn’t enjoy the food much but the drinks were good. 10 minute walk from the metro. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed for 3 nights and apart from it being outside of classic bike sharing zone (Tier, Lime) it was flawless. Amazing people are working at the reception and restaurant. Lady was so helpful she provided me with recommendations for sightseeing and restaurant around Paris. Loved the iPad controls for the whole room.

This is a fancy budget hotel at a luxury hotel price. Rooms are tiny with no coffee etc. No bath only a shower cubical that nasty and they try to justify it my giving you a broken ipad mini to fiddle with the lights and blinds! Avoid if you can. Location is its only redeeming feature. Its only 5 mins walk from the business area.

I was just there for 2 weeks and it was amazing! The staff, Shaine, Severine, Yolanda, Dortea, Alexis, and the others treated me like family, not as a customer! Made the stay so much better being able to get to know the staff and count them as friends. The room I had was terrific, good bed, ipad for everything, the cleaning of the room. The bed was just perfect! I will return. Merci Shaine, Alex, Severine, Yolanda, Dortea.

Amazing hotel, the place is so amazing and although the rooms are small, the amazing design, beautiful view with big window, very comfortable bed and lovely shower makes the room so much comfortable. I also loved the staff they are very nice! I have to mention thier precautions for the pandemic, I have to admire their cleaning and rules that help you have a safe stay.

This is a great hotel. Some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet. Modern, comfortable. Easy self check in (assistance offered). Happens to also be reasonably priced (except when there is a big event). Super convenient location to where I usually work at company HQ.

Honestly the best room I've stayed in. The room is both modern and quirky. Everything controlled by an iPad. The Hotel itself has a lovely artsy yet modern vibe. The staff are beyond friendly. I will definitely stay here again

A bit of a new hotel experience, not over the top, pleasant stay. Fully digital, electronic adjustable room. If possible choose a room on the center side for a nice view.

  • 3/5 Y H. 2 years ago on Google
This is a good hotel. I loved two things about the place. 1) International staff. I met people from Brazil, France, Spain, etc. 2) View of the Grande Arche from my room. I am giving 3 stars because of the small room size and lack of a coffee maker in the room (I had to buy a Nespresso machine for the room) and the issue with my luggage which really ruined the mood. I stayed at this property for 2 weeks. I had to make a trip out of Paris for a week and my request to keep my luggage during this time was denied. They mentioned they are not busy and have the space, but still, they cant keep my bags. If I am staying at a property for 2 weeks and pay 1500+, I don't think it is a huge expectation. I booked the Hilton down the road for a night and they gladly took the bags.

Probably best staff I met in any hotel. Just the right things for good stay at prime locations. I would say, room was smaller for my style and comfort and definitely small for couple and family. 5 stars to service

  • 5/5 Dan R. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice for its price. Room a bit tight if your aren't alone for long stays but compensates with the tablet controls ( temp , alarms , blinds and lights ) . Checkin was a breeze and staff helpful! Bonus for breakfast and good coffee

Brilliant and modern hotel with everything you could need. We were here for a weekend for a big concert at the arena and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The breakfast is really good and there’s lots of choice and healthy options too. Great coffee service available all day too, which is great - especially on a Sunday when there isn’t much else open in the area. The rooms are compact but perfect for what we needed. The beds are super comfortable and we loved being able to control everything using the iPad. The parking is fairly difficult to find but the roads were quiet so it was easy to take it slow and find the entrance. The car park was really quiet and felt extremely safe. We’ve stayed in Citizen M hotels before and they are always impressive and we will definitely stay in one again!

Amazing. Quite hi tech, but all the interactions with staff were great who are all really very welcoming and very friendly. The TV was hit and miss if it would give me picture with the sound or not. Bar and breakfast quite good, too few hot options at breakfast for the price in my opinion, but the coffee was excellent and made up for it.

Favorite hotel in Paris so far. The hotelroom is small, but has everything that you need (and more) and is very clean. The hotel lobby on the other hand is huge and has beautiful design furniture. The staff is amazing. Location is a bit far from the city centre but the train is 8 min walk and from there easy connections to everywhere. The area (La defense) itself is beautiful and modern

CitizenM, located in the middle of La Defense (Europe's largest purpose-built business district) across eight floors and a large outside terrace overlooking a wide pedestrian area full of restaurants and opposite to Paris La Défense Arena. CitizenM is a dream for the digitally inclined - the check-in, room selection and payment is all done through either the app or devices in the lobby. The interior feels communal with a bit of a collegiate quirky feel. The rooms are very small and minimalist, but include all the ammenities you would need including a small fridge. The lights, TV and blinds are all controlled through a tablet. Price wise, the rates range between 110 to 150 euros a night, depending on the time of the year. You can add breakfast for an additional 16.50 euros per night which provides you free coffee and juice at the hotel all day. The staff are very friendly and happy to guide you through the experience. CitizenM is a great choice for business travellers. I would not recommend it for families or those after ample spacious rooms.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The check in was so smooth and easy and the check out was even easier! In a matter of seconds. The staff with no exception were very helpful and friendly, they helped us plan our day and made sure that we wouldn’t get lost and explained in detail. It was very clean and modern and very high tech. I like that I could watch Netflix ( in my personal account ) on the TV , there were a variety of channels from around the world like Dubai and Kuwait. What I liked about this hotel was the lovely view we got, it was lovely waking up to a view like that 💞. It was my first time booking at CitizenM but definitely not my last.

I had an excellent stay. Its my 2nd time in last 6 months and i would stay again here next time. Staff is nice and cooporative, environment is good and clean. Rooms a little bit small but if u r here for tourism or business, u wud need a hotel to sleep and eat only. Special thanks to Varun, Alex, Marc, Marlon, Arnes, Maria, Gabriel and Alex. Thanks for making my stay wonderfull. Regards,
