My first time in Novotel and last. We stayed 5 nights during Hellfest and we had the hotel booked for over a year. On arrival we were asked to pay a deposit of 800 euros and that was a discount as it should be 900. When we left we had to pay nearly 100 euros more than what was mentioned on booking.com. We received only one water on arrival and another day even though we were there 5 nights and we were two people. The hand wash finished after one night and was never refilled. This weekend the temperatures were around 40 degrees and we were given a room with faulty aircon. We were in 2 stars hotels with service way beyond this. As soon as we arrived we were scared we would not have a hotel to stay in and we had booked over a year before. Unnacceptable. The locker had an error at a point and even though the staff quickly sorted it out, it gave us a panic attack as our passports etc were there. We never had an apology, on the opposite we were invited to cancel in the most packed weekend of the year (thank you!) and were overcharged. They charged us breakfasts we never had a some tax never mentioned on the booking. The experience was really not worth the price and I will never chose Novotel again.

Hotel is ok. Good location. Rooms are ok, nothing is exceptional but ok Breakfast is ok as well. I had a particular bad experience with receptionist Marianne (balanced with a very good experience with her boss Marie). They couldn't find my reservation for hours. I had to contact my agency and the 2 intermediary agencies to solve it. Marianne was rude and disrespectful to me and my family, and did not help at all to solve the problem. Marie, on the other hand, was kind and empathetic.

Visited with a group of 10 from Wales for the Rugby World Cup. Hotel was great value with a great location. Rooms were large and comfortable. Hotel staff were pleasant and professional throughout. Highly recommended.

I booked this place because a colleague of mine had also booked this place. However, the condition of the room was so bad that I checked out from the hotel the very next day. The room is very average (and small) and the money that they charge for that is way too high! For weird reasons, the toilet flush in my room did not refill the water immediately after every flush. I wonder that they have a timer attached, such that it refills only after 10 minutes (to save water?) At least this is what I experienced. Not a classy hotel to have the Novotel brand name. Also, not worth their 4 star rating.

Great location 10mn walk to downtown, groceries, bakery and restaurant right there. Nice rooms and excellent service.

Terrible experience, I was bitten by bedbugs during my stay. The hotel declined any responsibility and said after my (and my colleague) complaint that they sent an expert team in our rooms and didn't find anything. No proof of this inspection was shared, despite my continuous demand, and according to them only our 2 rooms were inspected. Hence, no bed bugs policy is actually in place in this hotel. They are just waiting for people to complaint but no preventive actions are taken! Will never ever sleep in a Novotel again.

I asked for a wake up call at 4:30 and was woken up at 3:40. The shower had very little pressure and the worst ; the man at reception at 5 am was extremely rude. The coffe machine was not set up correctly and did not work. I told him and he answer rudely that it did until I insisted for help and then he fixed it. Also attended me without any manners when I did the check out. He was obviously not happy yo he there at such an early hour

Excellent hotel in the center of Nantes. Easy parking right underneath the building, and close to the train station. The service was excellent and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, although small from a US perspective. Only complaint was that an iron was only available on request and was checked out; it also didn’t come with a board so we had to improvise. Not really acceptable in a hotel presenting itself for business travel.

Not the best experience ever but good anyway, the room was quite cold and needed to ask for an extra heater to get it comfortable, the staff is kind but could be a little bit warmer IMO, parking is public garage with an exit next to the hotel, expensive but convenient if in a hurry, it's also next to the conference building in Nantes which makes it ideal for business people. Food is good but no wow factor, quite expensive for what it is though. Breakfast is generous and varied. Hygiene is noticeable all over the place which is something very positive, wouldn't mind to repeat but I'd look for alternatives first.

I asked if they have gluten free options at the reception, they told me they have many options and finally they just had some cereals and the milk was rotten... They changed it but it's really dangerous to serve food in bad conditions.

Great location for attending concert in hall next door. Public underground parking available with lift arriving next to hotel entrance. Clean room. Great breakfast spread. We'll presented and helpful bi-lingual staff. Walking distance to city centre and railway station. Plenty of cafés, bars and brasseries close by.

Great hotel, right on top of the convention center. Nice rooms, very helpful and efficient staff. Walking distance from the train station, the city center, and if you attend a convention, you can just get there from the hotel without a coat no matter the weather.

Very smart hotel in a rather quiet location. The outside of the building is simply stunning and will get anyone in a classic Nantes mood. The staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms are small but beautifully presented. The breakfast offering was as good as we’ve had in this class of hotel. Very good value for money and highly recommended.

I came for a business trip and stayed 3 nights in the hotel. The people at the reception had so many issues. I couldn’t print a paper in the hotel for just one sheet and the receptionist Joyce was extremely rude and unfriendly! We are customers and we shouldn’t be treated this. Not acceptable for a 4 start hotel

Not helpful, slow, . Staff were a bit stuck up. Why bother with reusing towels when hot beverage in room is a Nestlé pod! I believe in doing our best for the planet which includes using towels more than once, but Nestlé is not a company that stands for sensible care of the plant.
