Great location. Staff is really friendly and they smiled a lot. The hotel has its own parking but during the road was under construction it can’t be used. They give an access care to Parking Graslin during our stay that is convenient. The room is not too small given French standard... still small. Not a lot of amenities given only the necessity like soap, conditioner. Laundry was fast. We had a nice stay.

    - I am very disappointed with your beds. Surprised, and expected much better for the price and presumed quality of the hotel. Anyone showering and dressing might want more privacy but most especially the roommate would want to be able to have a dark room. The breakfast was a nice range of food available. At the hotel I also found a big lack of support for tourism in your town - esp for tourists like me who are traveling by train/no car, and do not want to walk a lot. (Bus tour? Hop On Hop Off?) Maybe there is little info. even available; I could not find much online. : ( And I did not realize what a big city Nantes was! Also I came by Uber and we had to park behind? the hotel, and walk around and to the front, it was confusing. I appreciate the hotel’s historic archway and convenience of nearby restaurants etc. This is my one time in Nantes -only 2 nts - and I was hoping for a bit more info and support as an independent traveler to a nice, expensive hotel. Thank you, Stephanie

A superb place to stay for my first visit to Nantes. The location of the hotel in the centre of town was extremely convenient and served as a great base from which to explore the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience. Thank you to all concerned!

Good breakfast, bathroom and location. Room was perhaps a bit too small for two people.

Wonderful position, personnel very kind (in a special way the man at the reception- I’m sorry I don’t remember the name) . Great bedroom, quiet room. Great comfort (much appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine).

Overall, a very good stay, and breakfast was especially good. The only bad thing was right at the end. We ordered a taxi to take us to the station. When we had a (metered) taxi to the hotel, on arrival in Nantes, it was 10.60 Euros. The (unmetered) taxi, which Reception ordered charged 20 Euros. This was too much for such a short journey and I suggest you review your arrangements for making taxi bookings.

What a wonderful stay we had at Oceania last night. Indeed, we stayed but a night, but we are impressed by the service on-the-phone as we arrived and struggled to reach the hotel due to road work at Rue Voltaire. Your receptionist was kindly enough guiding us until we got to the hotel parking. Bathroom tile texture is a beauty! It really gives the touch of class to the vanity area. Breakfast has plus and minus: + Scrambled eggs and bacon + Pancake & waffle syrup + Pastries - no still water? I could only find sparkling - vegetal milk? (Soja, almond, rice, etc)

Lovely hotel! Very accommodating after my flight was cancelled & the airline hadn’t sorted the booking out on their end. Would visit again!

Excellent managed hotel in a great part of Nantes. The receptionists on duty when I checked in on Tuesday 6th June at 7pm were welcoming and suggested a fantastic restaurant nearby.... They even booked it for me. I will stay again.

Very central.hotel in Nantes. Friendly staff, large rooms with great amenities. Parking was a pain, but others have mentioned this. It's free but either call the hotel.or go there first for instruction and a code to get into the area.

A fast and quality welcome and check-in, little administration, room ready before time and at no extra charge, beautiful decoration, comfortable bedding, beautiful functional bathroom, free tea and coffee, close to my clients, this hotel was perfect for one night, varied breakfast

Fantastic hotel and great staff. They all indulged my terrible French and easily switched to English when absolutely necessary. The location was perfect for exploring Nantes (which is a beautiful city). The breakfast buffet was very good. The only negative was parking was not available due to road construction. Had to pay 50E for parking in a garage near by... hence the 4/5 for value.

We had a great stay here. The hotel was clean, our rooms were clean, breakfast was good (a little pricey...), and we enjoyed our stay overall. My only complaint were that the beds weren't very comfy. However, the curtains are complete blackout curtains- so that really helped with sleeping.

For a four star hotel, we expected a bit more and left it with mixed feelings. Let's start with the positive points: we were charmed by a young woman at the reception who knows exactly what she is doing. Much service oriented, she brings customer experience to another level. Rooms were rather small, but nicely decorated and practical. A big shower was a plus. The hotel is perfectly located in a historical building in the city centre, within a convenient distance from the main attractions, restaurants and bars. However, there were a few points for improvement. The lack of parking space and not many available alternatives in the neighborhood for higher cars. The breakfast disappointed us quite a lot. The room was cold and impersonal. There was almost nothing left when we arrived and we had to wait for a long time until they refilled the buffet. The choice of meals was also limited. In the evening, we decided to gor for a drink. The hotel bar is managed by one woman with no back up. When a larger group of people came over, we had to wait long to be served. All in all, not bad, but could be better.

I've been in many 4 stars hotels in my life, this is probably one of the finest. the people who works there are really nice, the building is amazing. if you pay the extra for the room with "place gralin" view you've got yourself a really good view. it would be a 5 star review if the gym was a little bigger

We arrived to Nantes on a lark in the morning, while exploring the region. We had the luxury of time to look at a few hotels in the center, and decided on this hotel. It's a perfect location in a beautiful historic neighborhood. We had the best room in the hotel, overlooking the Opera Theater. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
