Are you serious? Really good ramen in an airport for a normal price? It's true. Best $20 I spent on airport food. The buns are great too. Extra spicy is way too spicy though.

Excellent tasting last ramen meal before flying back home. Good quality and not overpriced like other places. Especially since it’s in the airport. Cafeteria style makes for quick turnaround so I did not have to wait very long.

Ippudo Narita Airport (2023.03) You must order ramen directly from the staff (no vending machines). Pay at the entrance and they will give you a seat number. Once you are seated at your table, the staff will serve your food directly to you. When you're done eating, you'll need to return the utensils yourself. <Recommended Menu> Akamaru Special (slightly spicy) 1280 yen Draft beer 1020 yen Oolong tea 180 yen

Surprisingly good ramen at an airport. The kids liked their pork ramen, but I really liked my spicy pork ramen. Tasty and just the right spice.

Funny, the ramen is what I used to eat at thier New York location. Chashu slices are thinner than NY’s counterpart. Pricing in Narita however is 33% cheaper.

Last meal before I leave Japan. This spot is really good and less busy with better pricing is than the McDonalds next door. Hot, fresh, and rich! This location you order from the front counter and not from a ticket vending machines.

KAEDAMA! Delicious ramen here. Veggie options too! Don't worry about the line - it moves quickly. The green tea beer "cocktail" is fantastic if you're a fan of green tea. Super friendly, English-speaking staff. Love this place!

Love the delicious spicy Ramen. Despite having no meat, the broth is pork broth. Wished they had a vegetarian option. Broth a bit too salty but love the flavours.

Standard ippudo fair. One of the only two shops open at Narita. Fast service. Consistent quality.

Best Ramen Spot in the Airport I gotta give it a solid five-star review for being airport food. The ramen broth was tasty, the noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chewiness, and the meat was flavorful and had a great texture. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service added to the overall enjoyment. If you're ever in the airport and craving some ramen, I highly recommend stopping by.

Get a glance of how true Japanese ramen tastes like without stepping out of the airport (or go to New York and pay a higher price). Just jump in the line and enjoy this busy joint! Don't hesitate to get the best option with two kinds of meat and a full egg. Update: The soup is on the salty side. Be cautious if you gonna drink the whole soup.

Amazing ramen. My first time to eat a freshly made ramen in Japanese soil. Broth was thick and rich. Little chili? On top was not suffocating. Good meal.

Amazing ramen packed with Tokyo flavor without needing leave the airport! Great place to get your ramen fix during a layover, especially if you're not able to leave. Recommend the "Akamaru Modern" ramen, great flavor and melt in your mouth pork belly. Only con is you might see a decent size line due to "no take out" policy and seating can be a bit tight with carry-on luggage.

This restaurant allows you to enjoy fresh ramen with various tableside condiments while waiting for your flight at the airport. Tried the Shiromaru classic and the Akamaru Modern ramen. The broth for both was rich, above average in flavour, and delicious. However, the noodles themselves are on the thin and not so chewy side. It is quite good and affordable for airport food but there is more spectacular Ramen in Japan.

I only got an hour and a half layover time in my hand in Narita before my connection flight to Thailand, plus my flight gate is the complete opposite direction from Ippudo. But I even skipped one airplane's meal for hours before landing just for this. So all the trouble I went through can't go to waste! Luckily the line wasn't as bad, less than 10 minutes. I ordered Akamaru special toppings which is the most popular one. You also get to choose the firmness of noodles, I personally like it chewier much better than soft. I had Ippudo from New York in the past and it was above average-delicious while Ippudo here in Narita clearly way better! The broth is deep, porky, creamy, strong yet light at the same time. Umami miso paste and fragrant black garlic oil also add a nice touch to an already delicious soup. Chewy thin noodles goes well with thick broth as expected. Their roasted pork chashu were sliced almost too thin but super tender and flavorful. Semi-boiled egg, tasty while beansprouts and chopped green onions are my favorite toppings in ramen. Japanese ramen chefs can make the highest tier of magical ramen soup, no wonder ramen shops in Japan will continue to stay on top of the world above any other countries. So if you crave for some serious ramen when you come by Narita for your connection flight. I highly recommend you to try Ippudo! It's worth going through a long line plus long distance walk through busy crowd. One last thing, if you love beer plus enough layover time try some of their flavored Japanese draft beer! I chose Kyoho Grape beer which was extraordinarily interesting, a strong grape flavor combined with tasty beer. On the way back of my trip, I definitely will come back for Matcha greentea beer. Because of this marvelous spot and other cool looking new restaurants opened like Mitsumoto Tei. Narita is now officially my all-time favorite airport.

Veggie ramen at top quality. A lot of meat options too. 1050 yen isn’t bad for an airport. Fresh!

Order fast, production fast, eat fast (up to your preference 😄😄😄) So yummy soup, delicious pork and egg😋. You can select the firmness of the noddle you like to fill up your stomach. If you have a bigger stomach, add an extra noodle if you want. The price is reasonable and don't be scared by the queue in front of the shop. IT IS FAST😄

Had a quick lunch during our layover and ramen is on my top list since 8'm in Japan. Ippudo's ramen is up there in my ramen list. Love the ambiance, awesome for an airport branch were eat and run is the norm.

Best ramen you can get at a airport. Airport food are usually "so so" but you can actually get real Japanese ramen before your flight is great. Ate it a few time and never regret it before a long flight out. Service are a little lacking but it is full of foreigners and people rushing to head out so it is understandable.

Don’t let this be the last bowl of ramen you have in Japan. It’s not worth the queue. the meat and egg are good. The noodles still have texture. The broth lacks flavour, especially when I asked for the signature miso flavour. It had a nice visual appearance, but lacked in salinity and depth of flavour. The fragrant oil on top, I think was supposed to be Mayu (burnt/black garlic oil) was made with olive oil, which added a strange taste to the ramen. It almost taints it. Service and ease of ordering was good though.

(+) Cheap with big portion. So far this is the cheapest place at Narita airport where you can get full. Service is good. They serve you really well despite the space is damn crowded. (-) Food is NOT good. Too much salt. Noodle is not even cooked. They put nothing but salt, it’s not edible without drinking water. If you don’t want salty food, better not go.

It’s ok. The chashu was a little bit lean and dry. A bit of a sad end to my three week Japanese ramen tour. It does the job well enough I guess. The noodles were good.

The service and food was amazing! How can you have a layover in Japan and not stop for ramen?! The ramen was delicious; pork was tender, noodles were cooked to perfection! A nice meal before I head to Hong Kong!

Great spot for a quick bite between flights. Definitely making sure to come back here, the ramen was phenomenal. The marinated soft boiled egg was perfect.

Good noodle firmness options but with subpar service quality, plain brooth that lacks of depth and complex anticipated, dry and chewy pork, and surprising egg with running raw yolk.

Great ramen to have right before departure from Tokyo. Fast service and friendly staff . Only pork ramen available - the spicy one is super strong so be careful

I just ordered a ramen bowl of number 9. Honestly, the taste is wonderful. I wasn’t paying attention that whether my bowl had pork or not until I checked my taken photo. It only has the minced pork, not two pork slices as the image when I ordered.

Ordered the Akamara modern (image attached) and Shiromaru classic. The Akamara modern has a special blended miso paste and fragrant oil in this bowl of Ramen, which was an absolute delight. The broth is thick and rich and the ramen was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommended. The Shiromaru classic, which is their original tonkotsu ramen is a little more basic and common. Nothing very special. Overall, a great experience.

Pretty good place to eat in the airport—enjoyed the ramen here! The line was long (Friday afternoon) but the wait went by fairly quick. The Shiromaru Classic #1 was good—big portion, with a good amount of noodles and chashu (meat). The broth could have had a bit more flavor though. Food came out quick—if you’re tight on time, this place does serves the food fast but you have to factor in the wait in line to order.

We ordered the special pork ramen with extra noodles. The broth was rich with a wonderful pork-bone flavor. The noodles were cooked to medium firmness and were delicious and the meat was tender. The service was quick, so don’t be discouraged when you see the long line. They are efficient and people move through quickly. I definitely recommend stopping here.

A quick stop to Ippudo during a layover. There were about 15 people in line, but it moved very quickly. The ramen, broth, and pork were all delicious and hit the spot.

4 stars cause it's ippudo and the ramen is great as usual. Minus 1 star cause no rooibos tea and no bean sprout side dish.

Unexpectedly delicious Hakata Ramien at Narita Airport transit area between gate 25-27 (near McDonald). Must try.
