In
all
CAMA
GROUP
is
deliberately
trying
to
run
a
hotel
I.e.
CAMA,
Ahmedabad
by
all
means
right
or
wrong.
The
hotel
which
was
once
prestigiously
known
for
its
quality
standards,
top
notch
service
and
best
in
the
town
hospitality
has
merely
reduced
down
to
unethical
practices,
sub
standard
unacceptable
business
ethics
and
worst
of
all
high
in
the
cloud
attitude.
Sorry
to
mention
but
the
current
mid
level
administration
especially
the
Food
and
Beverage
department
manager
and
the
general
manager
are
liars,
cheats
and
scammers
of
the
hugest
order.
The
only
case
where
I
can
suggest
anyone
this
venue
is
only
if
they
completely
want
to
ruin
their
once-in-a-lifetime
event
or
occasion
and
that
too
in
the
ruining
it
in
the
best
manner
possible.
I
am
very
disheartened
and
upset
about
my
reception
event
which
was
unorganised
&
not
properly
executed
by
team
Cama,
Ahmedabad.
We
had
organised
a
Wedding
Reception
on
3rd
May,
2023
at
Cama
Hotel,
Khanpur
Ahmedabad.
The
charges
and
tariffs
that
were
provided
in
the
first
meeting
were
unrealistically
revised
and
presented
in
the
second
meet.
The
reasons
mentioned
seemed
far
from
the
truth.(I
still
have
both
the
prints
of
revised
and
unrevised
tariffs
provided
by
cama).
When
we
approached
them
with
our
food
menu
selections
we
were
told
that
certain
food
items
werenβt
available
as
a
part
of
our
selected
package.
And
that
we
had
to
upgrade
our
package
by
almost
33%
price
rise
to
accommodate
those
cuisines.
I)
The
primary
issue
is
that
we
were
charged
at
βΉ900/-
plus
GST
for
60
additional
guests.
Estimate
was
for
275-300
guests.
Actual
arrival
as
per
Cama
records
was
335
guests.
We
wouldβve
fully
accepted
the
additional
charges
and
gladly
paid
in
entirety,
if
we
had
received,
Complete
good
quality
food,
with
proper
quantity
and
with
proper
service.
Sad
to
say
that
none
of
the
above
criteria
were
met!
Cama
appeared
totally
unprepared
for
even
a
simple
10-12%
addition
in
guests.
This
resulted
in
shoddy,
shabby,
and
shameful
stop-gap
arrangements.
The
tables
were
in
disarray,
the
serving
staff
were
disheveled,
and
not
looking
worthy
of
a
hotel
of
Camaβs
repute.
By
8:30
pm
they
had
run
out
of
starters
even
as
fresh
guests
were
arriving!!
By
9:30-9:45
pm
when
the
final
guests
were
being
served,
including
the
Bride,
Bridegroom
and
their
respective
families,
none
of
the
tables
were
in
order
(There
were
piles
of
food,
drinks
and
half
empty
plates
lying
uncleared).
The
counters
serving
food
had
run
of
of
crockery
and
cutlery,
and
also,
food
items
like
Nans
&
Parathas,
Dal
Makhani,
etc.
The
vegetables
appeared
watery
and
diluted.
The
serving
staff
were
rude
&
high-handed.
Apart
from
this,
I
list
out
the
other
points
of
concern,
II)
Welcome
drinks
were
served
in
disposable
plastic
glasses
instead
of
proper
glassware.
III)
We
were
promised
imarti
for
dessert
and
without
informing
Β us
they
were
serving
Jalebi
of
lower
quality,
that
too
leftovers.
They
were
not
even
refilling.
Further,
and
importantly
Β I
am
being
charged
fully
for
which
the
promised
quality/quantity
of
food
Β was
not
delivered.
At
11:50
pm,
my
relative,
Mr
Rupawala
was
rudely
awakened
from
his
sleep
for
this
matter,
which
is,
truly,
a
shameful
and
disgusting
act,
considering
that
he
is
CAMA
groups
Auditor!
On
his
advice,
we
settled
the
full
bill
amount
under
duress.
As
no
complimentary
rooms
were
provided
for
the
bride,
we
opted
to
book
a
room
at
actual
tariff.
The
state
and
condition
of
room
too
was
in
actual
disarray.
Moldy
smell
through
out
the
hotel,
leaking
taps
and
creaking
furniture
were
a
total
displeasure.
Judging
by
this
I
would
never
ever
suggest
anyone
to
engage
in
any
sort
of
business
with
the
said
hotel
group.
The
staff
has
been
very
very
rude
and
non
corporative
with
us.
We
decided
Cama
for
our
once
in
lifetime
event
because
of
the
Brand
Value
but
CAMA
Khanpur
has
proven
it
wrong
on
every
single
count.
In
the
next
3
months
we
have
about
3
different
events
in
our
family
but
I'll
make
it
a
point
that
no
one
decides
Cama
as
the
destination
