This is one of the traditional hotels out here. Beautiful gardens and environment at initial glance. Most of the business I had in town was here so became a first choice to stay. The rooms are traditional & big enough however the team needs to pay attention to the mosquitoes in the room and ensuring the mosquito net plus bed linen are clean plus free of dust. Also If you stay in block B - be conscious of the whole night noise of something like a water pump nearby and music into the early AM from the nearby bar. The toilets struggle to flush and management seemed surprised when I raised these issues. Also take note the residential blocks have no lift. Plan to carry minimal luggage especially if your room is on the third floor as you will have to carry it all the way up the stairs. From the general outlook - great hotel, the bar with its meals and drinks - excellent. Accommodation requires an overhaul in my 1 night experience.

A perfect dinning area that suits Adama's whether. Suit Rooms are somewhat economical and clean but are way below the standards.

The best hotel in Adama. Nice restaurant nearby which belongs to the hotel with great menu. Sometimes there were weddings in the park with was in the center of the complex but that didn't bothered me cause I found it interesting and also noise does not affect my sleep.

We had a beautiful suit with our own lounge. But many mosquitos, especially at night, so I will recommend bringing your own repellent . It was lovely to eat at the restaurant next to the gardens.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and loved it. I love how they keep it authentic and a bit oldies. They have a spacious meeting rooms and wonderful garden. Won't find a garden in town better than at the Caneth. The staff is very very humble. The restaurants are open until very late say about 11ish. I didn't give it five star only because it doesn't have a gym.

I really enjoyed my stay at Caneth (AKA Rift Valley Hotel). This was the second time and by coincidence I had the same room as last year. The garden is simply lovely and the outside bar and restaurant are to be found right there. The food and drinks are good and friendly priced, so are the rooms. There may be an occasional wedding going on and then it will be noisy until late (I experienced two in one week!). But those are somebody's fun, so alright with me. As for hygiene: the room was well kept but the bathroom can certainly be cleaner, the floor, toilet and sink were done daily, but the tiled walls... wel:, like never. That is the only minus I can speak of, the people working there are all very kind, willing and helpful. I can recommend this place.

The food is good, the gardens feel good and the price fair. It still kept the admirable style of the late 90s era hotel services. But the standard room sizes/service and customer care are unsatisfactory.

Beautiful and relaxing huge hotel with garden and fresh air. Breakfast is included and high class bedroom. Best and delicious food for lunch and dinner. You can choose from cultural local food or western food specially Italians like spaghetti or pizza. A quite delicious food with a very low price.

Very poor service. They booked me into an uncleaned room and I had to seat inside waiting for the cleaning to be done, after arriving from a long trip. The staff also rarely speak English so expect a communication barrier.

Oké hotel in Adama. Once a luxery hotel, now a bit worn. Nice garden restaurant and bar. Service is minimal. Noisy neighbourhood.

Hotel amenities were non existence. Electric power failure was rampant. Internet service bad. There was no air conditioning in any of the rooms. No elevators in the room areas. Had to go up 3 flights of stairs with heavy luggage. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family. Unfortunately we had to stay at the hotel because we were attending a conference.

We stayed at this hotel's suit for 2 days as a family. All services that were given by the hotel were full of hospitality and gratitude. Their food was delicious, and the buffet on breakfast time had a lot of choices. The cleanliness of the room was a spot on. The Wi-Fi was available 24/7. Lastly the price of each room is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this 3-star hotel for anyone who is coming to Adama.

It’s the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s past 10 pm and an extremely loud music coming from a wedding party that is taking place in the hotel is keeping us awake. My room is at the furthest end and I can’t imagine what the other guests are going through. They don’t even have a hall that they can use for such events. The people at the reception know what is going on and they are ignoring our phone calls.
