We ordered something else but the owner refused to let us pay for it. We told him the food was great and we were happy to pay, but he insisted. He was also really helpful when we were trying to figure out what covid testing we needed for our flight home the next day. The atmosphere was fun and the fans kept the air moving so we were never too hot or humid. We both really enjoyed eating there and will return on our next trip to Sri Lanka. What an exceptional place. We spent 4 nights in Negombo and came here to dine three times. The food is absolutely excellent, especially the veggie kottu and the prawn curry. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and is incredibly polite and friendly. The desserts are A+ and the prices are very reasonable. The owner Martin goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome as soon as you enter the place. Will definitely recommend and come back!

The moment you walk through the door the warm welcome (usually from Martin the owner) & politeness of the staff is on another level. You are always asked where you want to sit and are served quite quickly. You are never ignored and the staff top up your glass as soon as you’ve drank it.The menu is large & offers Asian & western options. As vegans we were blown away by the choices we had, with our own vegan menu. Everything from curries, burgers, pastas and even nut roast and shepherds pie! (Very rare in Sri Lanka) We ate there several times & were never disappointed, we tried the Thai & Sri Lankan curries, which were super tasty & filling. The mushroom & sweetcorn burger & vegan burger were delicious, and the nut roast we had just before Xmas was a lovely reminder of home, far away. Martin regular pops out from front of house & the kitchen to come and chat with you & he’s a very grounded, interesting & positive human being. When we returned to negombo a month later, Martin remembered all about us. As two people who were in Sri Lanka to help a dog charity as well as for travelling, we found the work he does for his hope Foundation, helping Street dogs a beautiful thing. There is even fish pedicure & manicures which you must try & I found it very entertaining!! We spent 5 weeks in Sri Lanka & as vegans we really struggled with food choices. We only wished there was a Lord’s in every town! #Veganuary

Been there for a dinner with my family. It was a nice place. Food was good and service was good as well. The owner was a very friendly person. He is a Englishman, comes around and talk to the customers and asked about the food and service. The day we went, there was a DJ as well. Plus owner runs or helping a local organizations which looks after stray dogs. There is a mural in the restaurant if the dogs. Great initiative, hats off.. Only issue I faced was the parking.
