The
moment
you
walk
through
the
door
the
warm
welcome
(usually
from
Martin
the
owner)
&
politeness
of
the
staff
is
on
another
level.
You
are
always
asked
where
you
want
to
sit
and
are
served
quite
quickly.
You
are
never
ignored
and
the
staff
top
up
your
glass
as
soon
as
you’ve
drank
it.The
menu
is
large
&
offers
Asian
&
western
options.
As
vegans
we
were
blown
away
by
the
choices
we
had,
with
our
own
vegan
menu.
Everything
from
curries,
burgers,
pastas
and
even
nut
roast
and
shepherds
pie!
(Very
rare
in
Sri
Lanka)
We
ate
there
several
times
&
were
never
disappointed,
we
tried
the
Thai
&
Sri
Lankan
curries,
which
were
super
tasty
&
filling.
The
mushroom
&
sweetcorn
burger
&
vegan
burger
were
delicious,
and
the
nut
roast
we
had
just
before
Xmas
was
a
lovely
reminder
of
home,
far
away.
Martin
regular
pops
out
from
front
of
house
&
the
kitchen
to
come
and
chat
with
you
&
he’s
a
very
grounded,
interesting
&
positive
human
being.
When
we
returned
to
negombo
a
month
later,
Martin
remembered
all
about
us.
As
two
people
who
were
in
Sri
Lanka
to
help
a
dog
charity
as
well
as
for
travelling,
we
found
the
work
he
does
for
his
hope
Foundation,
helping
Street
dogs
a
beautiful
thing.
There
is
even
fish
pedicure
&
manicures
which
you
must
try
&
I
found
it
very
entertaining!!
We
spent
5
weeks
in
Sri
Lanka
&
as
vegans
we
really
struggled
with
food
choices.
We
only
wished
there
was
a
Lord’s
in
every
town!
