This is an awesome brewery in Nelson. Great selection and great service. Flyer is only $6. Good deal. They support local art as you can purchase painting that you see on the wall. They have an outside patio, too.

Good beer, not so much for food. The best I had was the beer, great variety. Food was 50 - 50... Keep it save, stick to the burgers; the taco salad is a o go, the tots salad is very good but I still wonder why is called a salad, this dish is a delicious pile of tots bathing in cheese sauce and little pieces of bacon. Staff is very friendly.

Beers are great, service is great, unfortunately food is sub-par, but it is a brewery. For how quiet the place was, the Hand pie was undercooked, but still tasty. The chicken burger was cold upon delivery. Tots were not crispy, a good idea, just not a great delivery. Come for the beers and great serving staff!

On holidays from Calgary we stopped in to this very nice taproom. I had a flight and all 4 were excellent however the best part was the tater tot poutine. Their gravy is on point! Favorite beer I tried was The Big Squeezy Stone Fruit Pale Ale.

Really enjoyed a lot of the beers, especially the "oh Baby". I'm usually not a fan of sour beers but the strawberry vanilla one was awesome. Hopefully I can find your beers in Penticton!

Love the beer and the $5 before 5 specials. We had hand pies which were delicious and awesome flavour IPAs 👌 Favourite Nelson brewery! Only problem is no change tables in the bathrooms

DOG OWNERS BEWARE: My experience is from October 2022. The beer was fine, not my favorite but not bad by any means. We saw someone sitting on the patio with a dog finishing a beer and thought “great we can go with our dog.” The dog and owner were leaving as we walked up so we took their seat in the corner of the patio. My dog immediately jumped up on the bench to sniff out where the other dog had been sitting. Someone came out immediately and told me my dog couldn’t be on the bench. I apologized and immediately pulled her down and sat her at my feet. A few moments later someone different came out and said dogs weren’t allowed on the patio at all and seemed offended I would even think otherwise. Rude would be an understatement. Had my partner not just walked out with beers we would have just left. But since beers were purchased they made us sit her in the parking lot outside the patio area as we chugged out beer so we could leave. Now I see dogs are “supposedly” allowed and I see picture posted of dogs sitting on the bench. Based on my experience that’s not consistent, one minute one dog is allowed and the next one is not. I won’t be going back.

Blackmetal Dark Lager. Very okie-dokie. Cheers y’all. And so is the Viking Starship American IPA

Went and had the “burger of the month” at torchlight. It was so good! I tried a flight of beer and they were all great! Good vibes all around

Beverages were delicious. Impressed by the beer. Food was sub par. 16$ for iceberg lettice, onions and beef with taco.chips?? At least give me some.mixed greens for that price.

Here for the weekend and popped by for a Sunday lunch. Had a flight for $10, can’t beat it! Their chicken dip is like American buffalo dip’s cooler Canadian cousin, their pretzel and poutine also great too. Their guest cider was amazing! We’ll definitely be back when we visit again, a great crowd!

I love the creativity and the use of fresh ingredients used by the brewers to develop so many unique and tasty flavors. The prices for brews were fair, but the food was a little too steep for me. Either way, we always enjoy our drinks and appys when we go.

This place is great! They have the yummiest beer. The Big Squeezy and Big Orange Beer are so refreshing. We were so thankful for the great service from Dania and Neil. (I hope I have the names right). Thanks for the great service, the great tips for other places to visit in Nelson and for making us feel like family on the first night of our motorcycle ride. Our group had so much fun! I wish we had more space to bring those yummy beers back home.

Great beer (faves were Rhubar*Barian and Awesome Flavour IPA). Good prices. Nice patio. Good location. Can report the food is very good too! Totally recommend!

The food was pretty good, but the service was quite slow. I didn't enjoy the pies very much, but the pretzels were very good. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was the service, which was relatively unfriendly.

My favourite craft brewery in the Kootenay. Beer is the best and staff is professional and accomodating. Food service was slow though. I waited over 1/2 an hour for an appy of wings in the middle of the afternoon. A guy could get thirsty waiting.

🫤 I gave this a 2 instead of 5 for dinner only because we were told that we had to vacate our table after having dinner and drinks as the table was reserved for another group. This was only after being seated for 90 minutes. A 90 minute turnover is unreasonable...if the table had a limited sitting t...
