It's a "renovated" (just the rooms and corridors rather than the shower and toilet corner of the room) 1 star hotel. Sadly It doesn't have Air conditioning so a bit uncomfortable in the summer and we didn't have towels on arrival but managed to get some in the morning. Bunk beds are fun and practical for the kids - probably the cheapest family room option in August. But next time will book an Ibis as a minimum!

The good : we were checked in by security guard at about 2 am. Nicer than using sometimes fiddly machines. The bad : room was basic and missing things : loo seat absent, bed side lamps were removed leaving wires coming off the wall, a hole in the wall too where the door closer kept on knocking. We could not get up in time for breakfast.

You get what you pay for. The bathrooms felt like you were in a camper; however, the beds were good. Considering the very cheap rate, it's not a bad place to stay, especially if you are traveling to/from Paris from the South. Paris is about an hour north from the hotel. Just be aware, they do not have an elevator. I would recommend it to those who are just looking for a place to rest their heads. I must mention that if you are looking for a good place to eat, go to Chez Pin Restaurant Chinois. Their Chinese food is fantastic, and you cannot beat the views along the river side, which includes a castle, a cathedral, a calm river going into a forest, and a bridge built by Napoleon. The views are best at sunset.

Excellent and cheap for a friendly and simple hotel. The staff were particularly helpful and the room was kept clean and made up everyday. Easy access to a good Chinese buffet 200m away and a bus into town.

Worst place I have ever stayed. No ventilation, window frames covered in black mould. The traffic noise was terrible. The bathroom was disgusting. Never ever again. Don't stay here. The surrounding area seems dodgy, on an industrial estate

Great for putting your head down on a long journey but very much like a hostel rather than hotel
