We had an amazing time laughing at the circus that is Bistro 463. Out of 8 meals not one was made the way we ordered and most not edible. It was that bad we actually had a good time, from the still frozen garlic bread to the uncooked pizzas and not to forget the raw and frozen in the middle chicken wings, meal after meal we were amazed by the well honed skills of the chef to incorporate comedy into every meal . If you're in the Gold Coast hinterland and in the mood for dinner and a show then Bistro 436 is for you.

We came for lunch on a Saturday. Plenty of seats (mostly outdoors but there are indoor seating too), beautiful atmosphere, especially stunning on a sunny day. Good variety of food and drink options. We ordered different pasta menu (pumpkin pesto and seafood marinara) - both are top notch, delicious!!! Staff was super friendly, wearing fun quirky outfits which is really cool. Service was quick. Glad that we stumbled upon this place, will definitely return and try their pizza and burgers!

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch at Barrow. I admired the level of attention to details that the owner has invested in the restaurant: even from the chux, spray bottle to the staff uniforms. Every item follows the same theme. Food presentation as well as taste is without doubts the best you can get in Nerang 🥰

Amazing service and attention to detail. I believe the Cafe is under new management now and it shows. You can tell when a business really  cares about the customer from the taste, presentation and the atmosphere.  Worth the drive or ride as the scenery just compliments this hidden gem. Jamal is the head chef and his  Tuna steak is to die for.

Beautiful tucked away cafe at Mt Nathan. Lovely coffee and food. Great for breakfast and lunch. They even do special occasions and groups. Good to book first. Lovely surroundings gardens. Definitely worth the short drive, just out of Nerang.

What a lovely secret in the Maudsland area. Greeted by lovely friendly staff. Immediately asked if we wanted water whilst being seated. I regularly take my mum (80yrs) on Cafe/Restaurant adventures as an outing. This was a great find. Loved the atmosphere. Both enjoyed our meals. Thai beef salad and Ham n pineapple pizza. The Thai beef salad was lovely and fresh. Had a few pieces of mums pizza which was delicious. There's plenty of parking here. After eating we went and checked out the Plant nursery too.

So close the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast but a million miles away. This location has had several owners over the years but with a now with new owners, name and world view, I think it has really found its feet. We dropped in for lunch on a weekday. The area is spacious with plenty of choices for seating. The hosts were charming and genuine. I had the mussels in a tantalising broth, with bread. My partner had the fish. The broth was fantastic. The dish was something I had been pining for. It was fresh and full of flavour; something that is often lacking in the deep fried cuisine of the Gold Coast. My partner was ecstatic with her fish with no faults. The service was warm and friendly and intimate without being over bearing. The music was back ground but beautiful if you wanted to listen. The quality was outstanding as often these places have ordinary music at high volume over a trashy sound system that makes background music become like a torture. I really appreciated it. Thank you for the day. We look forward to another visit.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon to Australia. We stopped by this place by chance while staying at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast and on our way to O’reilly’s Resort. The staff were really friendly and caring. We were able to enjoy our dinner in the open air. I forgot the name, was it Jay? The man staff who served us recommended the menu, and the plating was pretty and the taste was art. What's even more surprising is that when we said we were Koreans, he called the Korean staff in the kitchen so we could exchange greetings. We were about to go home after finishing all the food, but the chef made us a special dessert to celebrate our wedding. It was amazing! I want to give full marks to the food, service, and atmosphere, and this is a place I want to visit again next time.

I have been dining in and taking away delicious food from Barrow for about 6 months now. My partner and I have always been looked after by all the staff. One staff member in particular, who really is the main reason I come back to Barrow is Tamika!! What exceptional customer service! That wonderful and inviting smile on arrival, with a big Hello to follow. Not to mention Tamika remembers my orders, remembers my extra sauce and always politely tells me to take a seat and stay warm while I wait. She remembers little things I mentioned in previous conversations and asks how that's going. For someone in such a fast paced environment to remember small details about their customers, when they see hundreds of people a week. That there is what ever single business needs. Someone with a beautiful, warm and inviting presence to greet you on arrival. We receive amazing service here and always have, the food is amazing!!

My husband and I only get to spend one morning a week with each other and we’re so happy we went to Barrow this morning. The mushroom bruschetta was incredible and the staff were very professional and accomodating. We were especially impressed by Emma who was so friendly and warm. We highly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be making Barrow our regular spot.

I had my wedding event here. I can not say enough wonderful things about Barrow. Everything really made our wedding so easy. Barrow team were proactive in all communication, gave super support, and totally set us up for success. Jayla walked us through every step from start to finish. I love her decor style for my wedding and how she tried to make everything perfect. She immediately felt like a friend that wanted us to have the best wedding day possible.

What a wonderful gem of a Restaurant and not too far away from our holiday accommodation. Ambience is great and they even had cocktails on offer. Only negative, you definitely need to wrap up during winter although they do provide heaters the one near us was under performing. Hoping to return to experience the Cafe side during the day.

My girlfriends took me here for my belated Birthday lunch (I was O'seas) My friend Carole's booked as it is her new favourite venue. Had lunch today with my partner. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We enjoyed the tranquility of this place. Big ++++ for the jazz music and the waiters uniform! We will come back!

Stopped in here on the way home to Brisbane from Scenic Rim - absolutely 5 stars. Food, service, coffee and the ambience was fantastic. Would stop here again in the future and if you’re in the area make sure you try the brunch Bahn Mi 👌

Barrow is our favourite restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Mt Nathan/Guanaba/Maudsland. The owner Jay is very friendly and all of the staff are professional and happy. Very popular place for breakfast and a meal out for family or date night. Takeaway pizza and other meals also great option. Amazing decor interior and beautiful al fraco area for dining, coffee or afternoon cocktail.

Zero if there’s the option. The guy called these as “standard flat white “. Taste worse than the coffee come out of an automatic coffee machine. The worst coffee we’ve ever had in QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.

My husband booked to do something different and this didn’t disappoint, in fact we had the loveliest experience. It’s quiet, chilled, relaxed with service that’s better than many high cost restaurants in Broadbeach. The food was a delight and the best steak and pepper sauce I have had in a very long time and my husband’s pasta was so tasty. My husband is a chef so it’s hard to find something better than he cooks at home and this was just so tasty and beautifully presented. OMGosh, this place is just amazing, beautiful atmosphere with music to compliment the whole back drop, including a water feature that has cute turtles swimming about that come up to sun themselves, and there's plenty of room for large and small celebrations. The food is to die for, our group shared pizza's and salad, and we've never tasted anything like it, the flavour was just out of this world and the pizza's were fully loaded. Great value for money 👍and fully licensed🥂🍷 Jay, you and your team provided such awesome service, so, we WILL be back very soon, A BIG 5⭐️ to you and your team Jay. Really nice atmosphere and surrounding gardens/decor. Lots of seating options, staff were Lovley it was quiet for a Saturday morning which was good. I got the Bahn mi + chips it wasn’t that nice, unfortunately it lacked the right flavour and had very little filling, chips were also cold. But I also tried the pork Benny and that was amazziinnnggg, will change my food option next time, but I’d definitely return and was happy with my experience.

Booked for a Fathers Day breakfast for 10, between us all am pretty sure we ordered every breakfast dish available, all were amazing! Also actually left feeling very well fed.. Service was great, meals all came within a reasonable time of each other. Would definitely recommend!

Do yourself a favour and RUN don’t walk to BARROW RESTAURANT in Mt Nathan/Nerang. The service is unmatched, and the staff add value to the ambiance and your overall experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths! If you leave without trying the LAMB SHANKS or BARRAMUNDI, you are missing out on tasting heaven. Absolutely the best meal we have had in a while. I highly recommend and will be coming back for more scrumptious cocktails!
