This review concerns the English language tour, which was the only way we were allowed to view the museum. Self-guided tours were not an option. The museum consists of roughly six different videos that a tour guide leads you to. You sit and watch the videos (translation provided by electronic audio guide) and then the tour guide ushers you along to the next. We were not permitted to stop and examine the signage and reading material, even though there were English language placards. The guide stopped to ask for questions twice, though he only answered one each time before telling us we had to keep moving. The videos, while informative, were nothing you could not glean from a biography or documentary. The museum has a few notable artifacts, though you won’t be given much time to examine them. Overall, this was a lackluster experience compared to the many other excellent museum experiences in Jerusalem.

Moves quickly highlighting important events of the period providing concise relevant info focusing on an extraordinary leader and decent human being. Good interplay between human and tech presentation.

Nice presentation. The Menachem Begin Heritage Center is the official state memorial commemorating Menachem Begin, Israel’s sixth Prime Minister. The Center is located on the Hinnom Ridge, overlooking Mount Zion and walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.

This was a great tour! It gave a good perspective on Begin's life, from childhood until his death. You really got to understand him and his actions in the context of what was going on throughout the years. Very well put together. Grown-ups really enjoyed. It was a bit over the heads of younger kids (under 7), but older kids (9 and up) enjoyed. They were also very careful with Covid19 precautions (small groups, masks, social distancing, cleaning between groups).

I had the amazing experience and pleasure to bring some old Artifacts from the beginning of the country that belonged to a friend of mine, his dad was serving in the old brigades after 2nd world War, in the early stages of Israel....they received us with open arms and we're very happy with the items I have brought this place is a must to go and see...thank you to Ilana and the staff for your patience and I am happy that the legacy of my close friend's dad will be forever honored

Excellent presentation with numerous documents and short movies on the life of Menachem Begin, from his birth in Lithuania, his following of Jabotinski, head of the Irgun, head of the opposition at the Knesset and prime Minister of the state of Israel. The shop at the entrance is worth visiting with artifacts from Israeli artists.

Excellent hardworking guide. Outstanding, gripping multimedia, multi-room presentation documenting of Begin's life and career. There is also a gift shop and a synagogue. A "must visit".

Very interesting and well done. A different kind of museum. Tells story of Begin in several videos. The only way to see museum is with a guide. All videos are in Hebrew, but headphones have other languages. English was easy to understand. Highly recommended.

Wonderful multimedia presentation of the life and career of Menachem Begin. Guided tours only. To get the full experience, make sure you make reservations for a tour in the language in which you are most fluent.

In addition to a very informative guided tour of one of the most important figures in Israeli history, the museum offers interesting lectures and book reviews.

The name is pretty self explanatory, the place explores the actions and way of life of begin with a lot of detail, it shows you many important meetings he had, and many of his basics to politics, and you get to sit and touch his real living room, with a sofa and a lounge, I'd recommend this place to grown people who would like to know more about him.
