    Canโ€™t go wrong with a nature day trip! The grounds around the creek and the little lake are kept natural. The hike can take you in different directions and terrain. On the day we got there, there were two dudes from the Israel Nature Protection Society answering questions and explaining the history of the region. Nice place for a picnic. Lots of tree-shaded spots. A few bike trails, too. Lots of parking. No bathrooms.

    Avoid parking fees by parking your car to the left of the entrance . Walking south on the beach will lead you away from the crowd and to a dog friendly area.
