We just came back from 12 days at Herods Herzliya. I cannot recommend the hotel enough. The rooms are simple, clean and have a desk and 2 chairs. They are not very big they are very comfortable with good closet space, a nice bathroom and excellent water pressure in the showers, and very comfortable beds. What makes this hotel special is the staff. They go above & beyond to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable. Rebecca at the front desk was kind & helpful, Shai at the lobby bar has a smile & kind word for everyone, and Anas at the pool is the nicest person who cannot do enough for you. He is constantly cleaning up, bringing you clean towels and asking how he can help you. The pool area is very nice and the pool is clean and refreshing especially in the heat of the summer. My only complaint is people smoking despite the no smoking signs posted everywhere. The rooms are spotless & they come to clean and provide fresh towels twice a day. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job. The breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of food and delicious Israeli breakfast. The location in Herzliya is very good of you don't mind a walk to the Marina and to the main beach. It is 10 minutes to the marina area, 5 to a smaller beach area & 15 to the strip where the beach hotels are. One note though if you are kosher the Marina has very few kosher restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a home away from home.

I got a room which was nice but facing some sort of ventilation system outside making noise all night long. I went to reception to ask for a room change and the guy rolls the eyes as if he could not be bothered, then tells me the system was updating, then that he has no rooms, then that he has too nice rooms to give me,…quite unbelievable. In the meantime he gets several calls, it is 2 AM, of other guests complaining and none of them gets resolved. Very low service and standards, I cannot recommend this place.

I read other reviews and agree with a. Few points: the location is excellent and the view of the marina is breathtaking. Hotel is good value for the money though there are minimal touch ups they could do in certain public areas. We booked two rooms and we all found the breakfast to be delicious, having great variety and great service. I like the fact they offer free parking and have a beautiful pool.

The location of this hotel is near next to a yacht marina, and the view at sunset is especially beautiful and awesome. My room was unfortunately on the garden view side, but next time I come back here, I preffer to stay in a marina side room by some extra cost. It takes 40ish minute drive from the airport, and it does similar to get to Tel Aviv. In fact, traffic condition is very quesionable in Israel. The most of hotel staffs are smiling and wonderfully providing us hospitabilities. On the day of my 1-Day tour, they helped me for taxi booking to access pick-up point in Tel Aviv and an arrangement for wake-up call at front desk. This is one of the best hotels I strongly recommend you to stay hotel once in your traveling to Israel.

My experience was very different from other reviews here. So different that I wrote a complaint letter to the Ministry of Tourism in Israel. The room we got was poorly maintained, random old furniture, a stained chair, and food stuck under the table that was there for a while and no one cleaned during our stay. The public spaces were as poorly maintained. The breakfast room was so dirty it was disgusting to have breakfast there. Service was non-existent. There is no one at the hotel entrance, no security, and the reception is hidden behind a wall so they never see or greet guests. At the breakfast hall there was no one at the entrance, you had to sit yourself, and good luck finding a clean table! Needles to say no one came to bring a coffee or a tea as you would expect from a 5 stars Hotel. 5 stars? More like a budget Premier Inn.

we stayed one night Friday night and Saturday in general everything was fine, however we couldn't find a place to sit and relax, not in the pool, as someone decided to bring his boom box and blare his music so everyone had to listen to his music, even complaining to the pool staff didn't help, it looks like they were afraid to say something to the offender and so nothing was done. The issue was worse as the rooms surround the pool so I couldn't even sleep in my room due to the blaring music. I cant understand where else in the world this type of behaviour in a 5 star hotel would be acceptable.

Stayed for the weekend with my husband and daughter. The start was rocky. We wanted a room with a view to the pool and it was labeled as a room for couples so we couldn’t reserve it for that reason which I thought was annoying (it’s okay to recommend but why decide for me what’s better for me and my child?). Anyways, when we arrived we were not happy with the room they assigned us just because of the view. Thank god at the reception there was Shay and especially ***Itai who made sure we got the room we wanted and more! We got the best service possible and a good laugh along the way that made up for everything that had happened. This is our third time in this hotel, we love the pool area, the food is delicious and the location is just what we love!

I expected much more from this hotel chain this is been Marketed as a 5 star hotel especially in that particular location I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel itself the condition of the room the the overall atmosphere at the pool pool which is extremely small for such a big amount of people the only good thing I can say about this place is that the staff was very helpful andAnd attentive they try to move us to a much bigger and I am assuming more expensive room but the condition was just really shamfull they Issued a full refund Once we expressed how unhappy and disappointed we were so for that I gave them 5 stars for service but I cannot give this hotel more than two stars in the general condition and experience

This is a great value hotel. It has an excellent traditional Israeli breakfast. Service is phenomenal. The team really tries to help you all. Overall seems like a great family hotel (lots of families with young kids on the weekend enjoying themselves with the nice pool). Location is phenomenal on the marina. It's a short nice walk past a lot of local outdoor cats to the main dining area with a lot of options including a convenient store, bakery, multiple seafood restaurants. I stayed there while traveling for business twice and found it to be great - and a lot cheaper than the "higher end" hotels nearby!

Stayed here for work last week. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but it also wasn't outstanding. The hotel itself is in a great location next to the marina. It has all the facilities you'd expect at this type of hotel. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the season which was a bit of a bummer as the weather was still plenty warm enough (at least for a Brit!). Not the end of the world though as there are beaches within walking distance which are quite nice when the conditions permit. The rooms themselves are well appointed, however they're starting to show a bit of wear and tear, and like the rest of the hotel, probably getting close to being due for a refresh. Something that is definitely fixable. My colleague who used the gym also mentioned the equipment in there was getting a bit old and tired as well. One true highlight was the breakfast each morning. I had no idea what an Israeli breakfast consisted of before arriving, but really there is literally something for everyone. It was delicious. The staff were all friendly and happy to help as well, and the housekeeping team do an excellent job as well, so full credit to them. All in all, not a spectacular experience, but also not a bad experience. A comfortable and efficient hotel that just requires a bit of sprucing up.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Although this was a work trip, I instantly felt like I was on holiday. The staff on reception could not have made our party feel more welcome. They were utterly delightful. The service experience throughout the hotel is genuine, authentic, thoughtful and friendly. The rooms in the hotel are spacious, airy, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. My suite had beautiful views over the Marina and the sea, and a large terrace to enjoy. The hotel is located minutes from many restaurants and a lovely beach. It's such a shame that I only had one night here, as I could happily have enjoyed a week here. Thank you to all staff both front and back of house, for all you did to make my stay so enjoyable. Your efforts are so very much appreciated.

It's a nice hotel, but it's not a 5-star hotel. Staff are very friendly. They clean the rooms twice-a-day. Nice views of the marina. Outdoor areas are great. Not centrally located, but an easy walk to mall area with restaurants and a grocery store. Very quiet. Good quality bed and pillows. Wifi is slow and inconsistent. This actually made it kind of hard to get work done. Shower had a leak, so it soaked the bathroom floor. Some of the closets and furnishings seemed a bit weathered. Not super central location; be prepared to take taxis to get to the train station, etc.

A quiet and friendly hotel next to the beach and marina. Good for a relaxing break. 20-30 minutes from Tel Aviv by taxi.

Great hotel, better than I expected. It is definitely in the marina though. There is no easy or quick way to walk to the shopping and HERZLIYA beach.... You have to wander the maze of the marina. If you like to walk, no problem. I had wished there was a bridge though. If you want to be on the beach, there are better hotel options. If you are a boat person, maybe this is the one for you.

Where do I start? This place is off the charts amazing. The staff is awesome, the food is awesome, the location is awesome, the suites are even more awesome. I highly recommend this place for all of the above reasons and more! My family and I enjoyed it so much we stayed twice. Once at the beginning of our trip and once again at the end of our trip.

New hotel inside Heryzila marina, first view to the sea. The breakfast was great with a large variety of food, The staff is very welcoming and warm. There is parking lot for guests to keep your car. Would recommend to try it 😄

It's all about expectations (everything in the world is!)! This hotel is (somehow) a 5-star hotel on Google! Yeah, well... Not so much! At all!! 3 stars is okay!! Rooms are good - clean and all that! No worries! Service is really bad though! On all levels! You have step out of the way of the waiter, not he for you - sadly, this is consistently! 1/5 of the (really, pretty common) TV channels aren't there at all!?!!? And no movies (of course). None of the advertized NEWS channels work (at all!!) 23hs Bar closes and room service is over/non existent! 5x stars?! How?! Go figure! PS! Not even an automat with chips or chocolate bars or sodas..... Like, nothing!

Great hotel! Wonderful location near the beach, nicely appointed room with a great balcony. And the breakfast buffet is definitely worth the price of admission.

Overall a pleasant experience at the hotel. Stayed there 7 nights in mid March. Not the most convenient location in the area but the sea view makes up for it. The walk from the hotel to Arena shopping mall is manageable and takes 10 minutes. The room was clean and spacious. Room service was done every day with 2 bottles of water replenished and a change of towels. The air condition/heater was working well. Do note that the room has either a bathtub or shower. I would have preferred a shower but was given a room with bathtub. I appreciated the spacious bathroom with ample of counter space to place my toiletries. Parts of the room was visibly old and worn out but that's just a minor eyesore to look at. It is best to indicate that you do not want the room near the lifts. Initially I was given a room just facing the lift area and it was very noisy outside and even above. I was hearing constant talking and shifting of furniture that I decided to ask for a room change after an hour of settling in. The staff was kind enough to assist in changing to a room that was very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast buffet was good. I especially liked the belgium waffles and smoked salmon.

Stayed there for a weekend in september. The Room was nice and clean, very capable and quiet air conditioning and the room was already cool when we got in. Pool view was nice. Staff was friendly. The food was underwhelming - friday breakfast was excellend, but friday night dinner was just not very tasty, or what I exlect from a 5 star hotel. Saturday morning breakfast was quite nice. I was looking forward to using the gym wich gas 3 treadmills, an eliptican and an exercise bike, but uppin arival for my workout I discovered that the 2/3 treadmills were broken, the third was taken, and the bicycle would not power on. Quite dissapointing.

Well situated by the marina. Nice rooms. But a little tired. Broken architrave, leaky shower, main door double lock not really engaging, sliding doors to balcony can't be locked, that sort of thing. Breakfast is extensive assortment of food and very tasty. What a shame most of the staff in this hotel walk around looking totally miserable. The place lacks happiness. Lose one star.

I went to Herods for a mini break from the daily grind and they didn't disappoint. Staff were always pleasant. Good food. Very comfortable rooms and the bed was great.

Great hotel, fantastic staff and excellent location. With the afternoon sun, the pool is safe and adored by the kids. I had a great stay. You really can't find a better location.

To whom it may concern. Stay far away from this property. We came today to stay for one night. The system was down at the hotel so it took about 2 hrs to get our room. The room was not what we requested. I fully understand that unexpected circumstances can happen but I have never experienced such a poor customer service. The staff acted as if it is customers fault. Zero compassion, zero understanding. Complete rudeness. We were trying to stay positive and understanding but we were treated so badly that we had to leave and book another hotel. Regarding the hotel itself….very not impressive space. I would compare it to holiday inn at best. Ps…no beach access, no views, no AC in the lobby. I can go on…

No Security and very unsafe We stayed at Herods Herzliya for 4 nights and will never come back. During the stay a large sum of money was stolen from our room and when confronted, the hotel staff was busy trying to avoid any blame rather than helping us, they simply reffered us to the police. Luckily the Police in Herzliya took the matter very serious. In addition to the money incident, we notice: - You can walk directly from the street to your room without any security staff checking you - The lift doesn’t have keys, so you can travel to any floor you wish and even without being a hotel guest - Our key got reset by mistake 4 times during the stay - There is no security staff present at all at the hotel In addition to the great safety and concern, the pool was not open, despite the fact, that it was written clearly on the website and was the reason for us booking this property.

Wow. A really great shabbos experience. Important to mention the mashgiach was exceptional even the way he managed the shul. Only comment was the perhaps there should be a coffee and cold water station with biscuit for the long afternoon

It was a long line to the reception (about 30 minutes) and after that we waited for an hour till our room was ready. At the end we could get our room only at 16:30. The room was large enought but all walls had the wet spots. The bathrobes were wet . There is very strange place of the pool - you have to cross the dining room to entrance to the pool. It was not so nice to go in the swimsuits among people who were eating. The area of the pool didn't seem very clear. There weren't cover for sunbeds so we couldn't to set or to lie on them. The pool is in the shade so the water was cold enought. It was a regular place for staying the night but not a 5 stars hotel.

Breakfasts superb! Friday night dinner wonderful! Staff all very friendly. Pool was very clean. They need to improved the room cleaning services and keep the bar open later.

Herod's is a nice hotel, facing the sea. The entrance area, lobby and dining room are quite nice. The furniture in the rooms is minimal, and the night tables were strangely low down. The service was disastrous - when there was a mistake in the booking and one of the people in our group didn't have a room, we had to pull teeth to even get a cot. There was simply no desire to help from the staff on site. There is a private Synagogue available for use upon request, about a minute walk from the hotel. There's also a great boardwalk which you can walk or run on at all hours.
