It's getting shabby guys! Whomever designed this hotel grew up in a submarine. The hallways are giving me 'spielkes'. The enthusiastic and down-to-earth staff is making up for it and makes the stay worthwhile. If you're not here for a wedding or golf game, it's hard to figure out why you'd be here at all.

The expectation was very high, the hotel came highly recommended. The problems were MULTIPLE, and of various degrees of severity 1. The room one of us got had malfunctioning coffee maker- it required a visit with the front desk to have it replaced the next morning 2. We had a cap of a water bottle (not a joke, literally and opened bottles screw top cap) on the floor by the coffee machine in one of the 2 rooms, instead of the 2-3 bottles of water waiting in another one. 3. The room had stains on the rug (coffee or caramel spilled) that were sticky - again visit with front desk resolved in next morning cleaned floors! 4. There was no parking available. It took me a while - stalking to a car to leave and I snuck in. 2 other cars were driving around theparking lot with me at the same time. Granted we might have come at a bad time- not all guests have checked in yet... (we arrived at 1:40 pm, check out time is 12:00, and check in is 3 pm.) 5. Upon check in we were told the room should be ready within an hour, 20 minutes before the official check in time- we thought - GOOD service! Wrong...we left 2 cell phone numbers. One for an international number (Canadian). And one local 050... they promised to call if it's ready before. At 3:05 pm I approached the front desk- she said 'we tried calling...there was no answer'...oddly enough I had no missed call on either of the 2 cell phones. 6. The room 'cleaning' - you would expect they would pay extra attention to it now, that we have come with a special request from evening before... dirty room, remember? WRONG... the beds were not made, just strechet duvduet over the bed...and even that was a sloppy job. The towels were not replenished/replaced until we approached the chembermaid and asked for some...and the floors were dirty. 7. The WORST part- and the main reason really for writing this review - I left a small tip for the chembermaid, like we always do at any of the multiple resorts we staid at. I left 8 coins on the bed side table. When I came back to the room, ours was 'cleaned' and the door across the isle was being serviced. 2 of the 8 coins were missing. I did the following - took the other 6 and gave them to the lady. Saying - this was left for you. She thanked me, but looked some what embarrassed. It must have been too low of a tip...or embarrassing to be caught. 8. Now positive - the buffet AMAZING, both breakfast and supper! Service - Wow!!! variety exceptional ! Tastes I will take with me! 9. Gym, pool, game rooms, kids facilities - great ! Highly recommended for children and their parents! I have a few recommendations to make to the management, if they want to be called a resort that justifies the uncompetitive price tag. Let's see how the check out will be... I know the bill will be quite... BIG.

Fraud alert! As I checked in they charged me DOUBLE, by “mistake”. and told me I need to chase after my money to get it back. So I needed to stress out the entire vacation about being charged for 4 nights instead of 2. They told me to Wait a few weeks and then call them and maybe at some point I will get the double charge back. The front desk was extremely hostile. They acted like they are doing me a favor to get the erroneous funds reversed. They do fraudulent charges and hope you won’t notice. The hotel staff was pure mean. Plus the hotel is very dirty, if you want to catch a virus, come on in!! My room had a direct view to a very dirty roof. The pool is made of cheap rubber, shameful for a hotel that charges so much. The only good thing I can say is that the waiter at breakfast was outstanding.

We arrived to the hotel with a baby just to find that our room is not ready for check in at 6pm!!( world record time for check in). After 45 min of waiting and the baby crying we turned around and left. The managers solution was to offer us a drink at the bar while we wait for the room with a crying baby. Forget the fact that they charge 750 usd a night but the lack of hospitality skills, professionalism and the basic understanding of how to serve a client- I’ll suggest to anyone to think 10 times before going to this hotel.

The hotel attempts to be a luxurious one, but it badly needs renovation. The rooms are good though (aside from mattresses which are too springy), showers are very nice and the amenities are on the higher end. The food is incredible and the pool are is very nice. Ther are all kinds of games for kids as well.

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The attention from staff was very hit & miss. They were polite enough... Once you got their attention. Service was slow, sometimes we had to ask several times for something as we were not sure if they forgot and just things were really that slow. Young staff who obviously need training & experience. One example was during dinner. We ordered wine and the waiter brought along the bottle of wine and a corkscrew, put them on table and left!!! Never have we had to open a bottle ourselves!!!. The restaurant closes at 9, which I've not come across in a resort hotel, and selection is not extensive. Its a shame as with a bit more attention it could be a great place to stay.

We enjoyed a memorable vacation with our kids at this hotel. While the experience was largely positive, we did spot some dirt under the beds and had some issues with the air conditioning. That said, the service and facilities were top-notch, and our kids had an amazing time.

Nice hotel, good food. Forgot my shirt in the room, remembered after 2 days. But the staff supposedly couldn't find it. Magic

We stayed only for a night with both kids and we loved it! Everything was amazing from the room comfort, design and cleanliness, staff, food, pool, garden(we loved the tree houses) and we plan to come back for more.

The hotel is, as expected, very very nice. Two things still worth mentioning: the breakfast and the various things for kids to do.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dan Caesarea Resort. The facilities are very clean and esthetically pleasing. The standard room was spacious, with enough room for all our luggage. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. The location is only a few minute driving to any of the historical sites and beach. Would definitely come back and hope to soon. Totally would recommend to any of my friends planning a trip to Caesarea!

Stayed here and loved it. Skee ball machine at the kids play center was straight from the Atlantic City , NJ boardwalk! They have fresh watermelon at the pool and a breakfast spread in the morning that is delicious and bountiful. Rooms were clean and modern. Free outdoor parking. We were greeted with a shot from a local distillery. Driving distance to Caesarea and Mechmoret. Can’t wait to go back. Updating this review June 2023- I just completed my second stay and love this hotel even more. I appreciate the fresh squeezed juices and table service at breakfast, the shot of grappa upon arrival that awaited me again, and the over the top friendliness from Ilan and Eitan and Mona. I was so happy and relaxed. This is by far my favorite hotel in Israel and a great home base for Northern sightseeing. We will return again!

Excellent food, good service, great outdoors space. Comfy bed, loved the coffee machine, good and clean bathroom and almost clean room, except for a nasty stain on the sofa. Rooms also suffers from poor noise insulation.

The room was large but not comfortable. Too expensive for a room with a view overlooking the roof. Breakfast was alright. I won't be coming back to this place again.

Lilly, the manager, was fabulous. She quickly corrected a minor problem and provided outstanding communication and service to make us feel at "home" at the Dan Caesaria. We cannot wait to return on our next trip to Israel. The entire staff is outstanding and makes guests feel appreciated and welcome! The food is outstanding and overwhelming with many, many choices. Thank you, thank you for the beautiful memories!! Sheila Gersh, NY

I can only give three points for the service here. I stayed here few days , only when I checked in, two bottles of water were provided. I couldn't get water after that. On the evening of 5.17, the reception staff told me that reception could not provide water. Is this done? Is this the service Dan should have?

I spent a long weekend with my partner and two kids. The venue is beautiful, tree houses, nice pool, very good breakfast and dinner. The Thai pop up restaurant next to the pool was great. Good kids activities, very good bar. Would definitely recommend

One of the best resorts in Israel! Very big and welcoming, provide the perfect relaxation vibe that you expect to feel in a holiday, vast gardens and many attractions included, very close to the harbor and very comfortable rooms. One thing that disappointed me: Breakfast which was very thin in options and very similar to Aroma or any other coffee brand in Israel and not in the level you expect from a 5 stars resort

Very nice facilities, very good breakfast. Only reason why I don't give 5 stars is you pay quite a lot and the service is good but not impeccable.

Incredible vacation. 5 stars experience. Rooms are big enough, cosy and well decorated. All rooms have a nice outdoor views (pool). The facilities like the swimming pool, football pitch and kids playground are amazing with a lot of space and cool monuments. Food quality is really good even considering the selection of dishes is not the best. Really recommended to spoiled families or couples.

I was there for a daily spa day which included a tasty breakfast, a massage and free use in the hotel accomodations. It was a nice day to be in the pool.

Gorgeous hotel. We only spent overnight. I wish it had been longer. Our room was so restful. Very intelligently designed for comfort and utility. Not the usual cramped rectangle. We had room to open 2 double sided suitcases and not trip over them. The furnishings and bedding were modern and so comfortable. All the room areas were immaculate. We appreciated the jazzy vocal song list that was on the TV when we entered our room. We left it on while we rested before dinner. The hotel itself is modern and airy with an interesting collection of art and sculpture - some thought provoking, others humourous. We had a buffet dinner as we were with a group and breakfast as well. Dinner options included meat and ample vegan selections. As vegetarians we found much to eat. Breakfast was the traditional dairy buffet. Wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. The location of the hotel has easy access from a main highway. It is adjacent to a golf course. We weren't able to enjoy the amenities as we had to check out immediately after breakfast. We didn't even have time to look around. We would love to return to the Dan Caesarea. We've always had a great experience with the Dan chain of hotels and look forward to booking a longer stay when we return to Israel.

What a gorgeous hotel. You can feel your stress dissipate as you walk through the door. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with a magnificent pool area. The public areas are littered with fun games ( there's even a billiard table embedded in one of the pools). Relaxation, fun and style all in one package! The staff were wonderfully helpful, the food was delicious (& slightly different from the norm). The hotel has been recently renovated and is really gorgeous. The treatments in the spa look fabulous. I really hope we'll be able to return as resident guests soon. Very impressive! Highly recommend...

We have really appreciated the diverse arcade games throughout the hotel and the huge territory where even if not in season and the pool is a bit cold, you can still use the playground and the full size football pitch. The green and the view are nice too. The parking is free. The breakfast was decent and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, especially the bathrooms. The bathrobes were very comfy. The spa is not particularly special, but it's quite relaxing. Highly recommended to visit with family - good for children and for adults.

Total Relaxation and great food! Me and my partner too HB, and enjoyed the great food with many vegetarian choices. Also had choices to vegans and gluten free. Miriam at the reception was wonderful and took care of our requests with patience and a great smile. She also gave us an upgrade to the room. The room was with amazing view and beautiful furnished. If you are looking to relax that’s a great place for that. Only one thing, I forgot to book in advanced a treatment at the SPA, so when we got there, they were already fully booked for all weekend. Don’t forget to book in advanced if you want to enjoy the SPA. I hope we could go back there soon.

"Experience the Best" - the Dan hotels’ motto and a true statement for Dan Caesarea resort. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the hotel and would highly recommend it! It truly exceeded our expectations with the highest level of service, incredible interior design and curated art throughout the hotel and rooms, as well as the picturesque and large territory. The breakfast buffet was superb, the Jeep shuttle to and from the Caesarea beach / port was very helpful, the tree houses and various games throughout the hotel are super fun and show the unique and creative approach of the hotel’s management, the complimentary beach-bag and delicious popcorn in the room were such a sweet touch :) The pool and its surrounding area is gorgeous and tranquil. Our goal for the trip was to relax and recharge in a beautiful setting, and Dan Caesarea was exactly what we needed both aesthetically and service wise. Thanks to the whole hotel’s team for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!

🫤 Good locations you like doing water activities but the rooms are so outdated. I felt like I’m staying in a military camp. The food is very simple. Very pricey for a 1 star hotel
