Housekeeping WALKED into our room at 10:05 am this morning. No knock. I was sitting at desk chair and the tv was off so I know for a fact she did NOT knock. Just helped herself to open our room door and say "Housekeeping". I thought check out time is Noon? We stayed for 1 night so there was no need for anyone to come to the room before our allowed checkout time of Noon.

One of the strangest hotels I've ever stayed in. The entry is beautiful and updated, but the rooms are bizzare with a giant wood desk and cabinet in the middle of the room. Our room also had a strong urine smell, they allow pets so I assumed (and hope) it was from a past dog.

This hotel is absolutely in need of renovations and cleaning, it's awful. The smell as you walk in is horrendously bad and the place is beat up and dirty. The carpet appears to be never shampooed let alone vacuumed. The bedding is gross and the bed is not comfortable. The shower is permanently black and brown and the shower curtain is filthy. Since waking up I'm very itchy. Our major problem was the toilet. When we arrived the handle was sticking out some and in order to flush needed to be twisted several times. The seat is not held down by anything and slides around. We attempted to flush the toilet and the handle just came off. When calling the front desk they stated that maintenance was not in and there was nothing they could do. Great, how does my family use the toilet now? This has to be one of the worst stays I've ever had and I feel more dirty leaving than when I arrived.

The tv remotes donā€™t work, the phones in the room donā€™t work. I had to Google them to get in touch with the lazy people who are at the front desk. The bathrooms do not have an exhaust fan, when we called for the tv remotes they told us to go down to the front desk & get it ourselves! I want at least half of my $224 dollars back!

Stayed here for a night and did not have a great experience. Got in late due to attending a concert. Arrived to a dirty toilet and almost suspected the sheets hadn't been changed but at 1 am decided to not make a big deal because we were tired. Found out later our friends across the hall had a dirty towel on the floor when they came in. Would recommend you stay somewhere else. Usually have good experiences with Hilton properties, but not in this case.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff, especially Zari were professional and personable. Iā€™m a woman that has to sleep with a fan. Leaving it at home, Zari offered a house box fan! Amazing beds, very clean rooms and pet friendly rooms. Wanna great night sleep at a reasonable price? This is hotel in New Braunfels, Texas.

The gentleman that checked me in was super nice and friendly. I selected this hotel because I have stayed before and had a good experience. My room was upgraded; however, it was pretty dated and dingy. They had 1/2 of the fourth floor blocked off with plastic; Iā€™m hopeful that a remodel is happening. The workout room was nice and spacious, but one treadmill didnā€™t work and when I used the elliptical machine it was making awful notices. It also spelled like burnt motor oil. Around 9:30 AM, I was still in my room getting a little work done and the cleaning crew tried to enter my room. That was a bit concerning. The location is convenient; it just needs some TLC.

We always stay at a Hilton hotel and they have yet to disappoint. If anything is a miss, all you need to do is talk to Manager Anil and it will be resolved to your satisfaction. Our short stay was great!

Let's start off with I work nights and was terribly tired during the day so late the night when my S/O instead of driving all the way home we got a hotel and it was good check out was 12pm.. but we were woken up by 1st the shades that are not shaded and let the sun shine through the room 2nd we were woken up 5 times by housekeeping and other ppl with bins and we were not given a do not disturb sign for our door in our room. I was tired at work all night becuz the amount of time we got woken up and my S/O was in his boxers and had to keep getting up annoyed by all of it.. if we did not put the latch on they could've walked in on us several times! My S/O begged me at check out not to say something but I need quality sleep and this place did not let us!

The hotel room was pretty dirty and dingy. I think there are a few things that could be done to improve the situation that are being neglected. We stay in hotels frequently (basically all Hilton) and this hotel needs some work. Two of the towels were dirty, the shower was gross. The corners were dirty and moldy, and the shower floor has a crack in it. The ceiling had some thing all over it. We will call it mold šŸ˜³ The shower head was terrible. You had to flush the toilet more than once to get clean water. It was by far the worst Hilton brand hotel Iā€™ve stayed in in a few years. Needs some upgrades and some attention to detail for sure.

Entering the parking lot to the Hampton Inn in New Braunfels was very inconvenient, as you entered a small strip center then circled to the back. The Check-in clerk was disinterested. Once I one room, we found the sink not drying and reported it. We also found parts of hair extensions hanging from the shower door rail and the shower head. The lamp shade was sitting directly on the bulb, even though it had the proper hardware to attach to the lamp. The textured wallpaper behind the bed in our second room had a very think coat of dust stuck in it. The overall appearance was outdated but acceptable. The cleanliness of the rooms was not what you would expect at a Hampton Inn.

Ease of check in using the Hilton app, great customer service, clean room, it was quiet and no highway noise, the kids were happy with the free wifi, the breakfast was awesome and the kids loved the make your own waffle station. Would stay again when passing through on holiday

Definitely a comfortable quiet stay. However.. entrance to property is confusing or hidden at night since it set behind another business. No sign at entrance from road. The hallways and elevators smelt like BO/armpit- gross. My bedding smelt of cologne .. so it would seem the comforter was not washed or switched prior to my stay. I was not told ā€œthank you for being a diamond memberā€ just over all a so/so visit compared to other Hilton stays.

I booked this trip for my Girl Scout Group weeks in advance 4 rooms to accommodate 4 family units. Unpon arrival / check in I provided our Tax Exempt form. When checking our Troop account I noticed we were charged taxes. I inquired with a the guy at the front desk and he was so rude and not helpful at all. He originally blamed me for "not" turning in a Tax Exempt form then looked into a folder and I found it as several times he overlooked it. Then he blamed the bank for showing the taxes. He was not helpful at all and was bothered by me questioning the Tax charges. We had 4 rooms total rm 316, 317, 318, & 319. Rm 318 had one roll of toilet paper upon check for a family of 4. On Sunday, May 28th, I asked the same guy (heavy set male wearing a blue plaid shirt) to have all four rooms cleaned as we all needed towels because the Troop were visiting Schlitterbahn that day. When we returned neither room was cleaned nor did either family have fresh towels. I had to go to the front desk again to get 16 fresh towels. Also, the Fire Alarm was constantly going off throughout the day and night. On several occasions the alarm went off. The hotel staff did not appear to care that the Fire Alarm was malfunctioning. Lastly, the rooms were hot even with the thermostat on 68 degrees. The AC units were not functioning properly. This was by far the worse Hilton experience ever. As the Troop I was truly embarrassed by the accommodation snd felt the Troops hard earned money was spend poorly at the establishment.

The alarm went off during the night, both nights of our stay. I was only compensated half a night and found out that the man in the fact that was called to the front, was very aware of the alarms, and was choosing not to get them fixed. Beautiful hotel, but I would not stay there again due to the alarms they were very startling. Instant headache. We were there for my nieces swim meet, which she was awake and in the middle of the night as well.

Marvelous hotel for the price. Location is very busy and finding the right way in the hotel was tough. But, it only took a few times to know the best way.

Beds are really comfortable! Room was clean and everything expected was provided. The breakfast was good and time accommodated ours. Pet friendly rooms for the win! Staff personable and professional.

I was very surprised at the quality of this room. The bed was great, the furnishings were great, the room was huge and well laid out. I stay in Hilton Hotels for business all the time, and this was definitely one of the best I've stayed in recently. Awesome that it happened while taking my wife on vacation.

Access to hotel parking is tricky. The hotel sits back from the road and you must cut thru Dunkin Donuts to get to hotel. Breakwas good, rooms were clean, staff pleasant.

Special parking spots for Diamond members. But don't park in the spot under the tree unless you want your car pelted by acorns or covered in bird poop. Hwy 46 is horribly congested with traffic during the entire duration of my stay. Turning left into the hotel parking lot was impossible around 4pm due to the backed up oncoming traffic. However, the room itself was quite spacious and clean.

We always try to get rooms at Hamptom Inn when possible when we travel. Nice stay. Could use more Bell Carts 1-2 for a busy hotel is embarrassing. The Staff and morning service was great. Rooms were CLEAN and well supplied. If you wanted super cold rooms it is possible. Beds were wonderful. The *only negitive* is it's a bear to get into or out of the Hotel parking lot because limited access to the Hotel.... and the rediculous mind-boggling traffic backed forever. The only way to get in or out of the Hotel during peak traffic hours is because the kindness of others also trapped in stand still traffic.

Everything is wonderful! The staff are helpful and the rooms are comfortable. It has a meeting room, pool, and exercise room. It was a little confusing on how to get here. You have to turn into the Dunkin Donuts' parking lot and go around it to enter the Hampton drive.

Thank you to the team for getting our clothes sent back. They folded them so neat and packaged them like they were brand new. Truly appreciate all you did. Loved that I could check in on my phone and used the digital key. Quick and easy.

Booked this hotel through Expedia due to the 4.4/5 rating. We are typically Airbnb people as we like to feel at home while traveling but we were visiting family and we had lots of daytime plans and only needed a place to sleep. There is a strong smell walking into the hotel which we chalked up the age of the building. The elevators were filthy; there was a large sticky spot on the floor of the elevator that was not cleaned up during our two night stay. Our room was outdated and humid! The AC was set on 80 when we arrived and no matter how much we cooled the room it remained humid (it was not humid outside). The walls were filthy, covered a scuffs and dirt, along with a spill down one of them, the wall paper was starting to peel off. Furniture was scuffed and worn, office chair had a dirty footprint on it. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and there were mold spores on the ceiling along with rust on the fire sprinkler. The grout in the shower used to be white, but it is dingy and the shower did not seem clean. We wore flipflops at all times because nowhere seemed clean. The fire alarms went off although there was no fire. It amazed me that this hotel receives so many positive reviews so after reading more of the reviews, it seems there are a lot of 5/5 with no comments and quite a few poor reviews with very similar complaints! This hotel was no worth the money. It needs renovated and a deep cleaning!!

Room layout is weird with the bed at 90 degrees to what you would expect. That would be fine except that it creates a VERY narrow path on the side of the bed. I bumped the wall getting out. The room was worn and tired and in need of renovation. I'm surprised Hilton allows one of their brands on this place. Tub was nasty and had a weird little shelf about 8 inches from the floor that was mildewy. Fire alarm went off at 5:17am. One loud beep and then nothing. No explanation or apology. The on duty manager got the owner on the phone when I complained and the owner was very short, irritated and not interested in helping much. Staff was friendly and listened, but despite being offered and allegedly given a $100 discount for the nasty room, it never appeared on my card. I normally heartily recommend Hampton Inn locations as a decent mid-tier place to stay. I cannot recommend this location.

Nothing super fancy. Bathtub had a couple of missing parts, but we were able to get clean. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was basic. Dining room was pretty nice, but they had CNN news on. They also had a pool and fitness center, but we didn't use them.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Not only did it have a clean and comfortable room, but some amazing customer service after the fact. I accidentally left an expensive item there, which they originally weren't able to find. But three days later they found it and called me to get it sent home. They could've stopped looking after they didn't find it the first time, but they continued searching. Thank you Hampton Inn!

We stayed here a few years ago and the property was exactly the same - clean, comfortable, but definitely showing itā€™s age and needing some updates and a refresh. We didnā€™t have breakfast or use the pool so canā€™t comment on those. Ample parking. Had to ask for water bottles and a snack as Diamond members - they werenā€™t offered and were handed over with a bit of reluctance. Check out is noon - we had housekeeping walk into our room once at 9:30 and again at 10:30. They knocked first but didnā€™t give even 2 seconds to call out of walk to the door before they opened it. Would stay again if the price is low enough.
