Terrible experience/ would not recommend. First, it’s mandatory valet parking which causes a traffic jam on the tiny street every time a customer enters. Then, we were placed in the smoking section and the waiters did not notify us that there was a non smoking area. Then, we were served with cheap plastic for almost everything (silverware, the food that was served, cups, etc.) For the price and hype, you’d expect to at least be served properly. The food arrived very fast, but did not taste good and main courses don’t come with any side dishes. For example, if you order Kofta, you will need to order side salads because they don’t come with it. Bathrooms here are tiny and sub-optimal. Overall, it felt like they were rushing customers in/out of their place, serving mediocre food at double the average price (or more).

If you are not an Egyptian, then your money is not accepted here. We waited for almost an hour to be allowed in. This restaurant clearly prioritizes Egyptian as their customers. A clear policy of apartheid is practiced in this restaurant

Way over rated place! The 2 stars are for the sake of positive attitude of the staff they are friendly and professional. As for the food, i was really surprised how bad the quality is; 1- stuffed veggies (محشي مشكل) was definitely not fresh and tasted spur. 2- رز معمّر: very dry and the meat was super chewy Rest of food was nice, mashawy and molokheyya. Again the staff are very nice and accepted the comments, offered to change the plates we didn’t like but that was not needed i was already disgusted and didn’t want to eat anything else. However for such highly rated, highly priced restaurant this was indeed a disappointing experience. In addition, i don’t expect using plastic cutlery in a fine dining restaurant for sake of convenience and for environmental aspects :)

Came here with a group of friends to try out some authentic 🇪🇬 food 😋. Had the kofta and bird tongue soup. It’s pretty similar to Sobhy Kaber however I felt that this restaurant is much cleaner and Sobhy Kaber can be pretty chaotic! Highlight ➡️ every time the molokheya is served, a guy with a drum set comes out. Not 100% why but it gives it a great vibe!

Unpleasant experience with the waiter completely mixing up our orders. And then still not getting them correct after requesting them to be replaced for what we wanted. So a big disappointment. But leaving 2 stars cause at least they tried and apologised

Definitely one of the best atmospheres to eat at the food was OK nothing to brag about pricing normal for a place like that. I would have rather eaten at small local restaurants and I’ll have been provided with better food..

Good place, good food quality. Staff is friendly and so professional. Service time is excellent in the light of the huge place and customers traffic in the place. My moderate rating is because all plates and service they are using is plastic and I will say the amount of plastics products used in one branch is really huge which is not environment friendly . I recommend to think in was to reduce plastic usage.

I’m vegetarian but I like some of these places because they good veggie dishes. Authentic egyptian. They lied and said the molokheya was made with water vs chicken broth. But I know it was. Not their fault I’m a vegetarian why am I at a kebab place lol. The family enjoyed the meat for sure.

Very delicious and wonderful taste. dishes is very suitable quantities. I love the Pigeon stuffed with rice it always delicious and it is taste like who my grandma cooked. The price is more expensive than other Oriental food competotir

Extremely overrated restaurant, food taste is average ( the worst place to eat Mashawi, no value of money, nothing special in the restaurant , We changed dirty forks twice ( they have to pay more attention to hygiene) you can pay half in other places with the same service and better food
