El Menoufy is a top class restaurant. The food is of the highest quality and the prices are very reasonable. It is by far one of the best restaurants we have visited in the Cairo area. Mr. Imad and his team looked after us very nicely and even when our son broke a glass, we were helped in a very professional and friendly manner. So if you are looking for high-quality Egyptian food at great prices in an absolutely feel-good atmosphere, you will find it at El Menoufy. You will definitely see us more often!

One of the best restaurants that serves Egyptian food in Cairo. Everything is tasty. It’s been my first go to spot as soon as I arrive in Egypt. Kofta is really delicious and well made and full of beef/lamb meat with less fats. All the menu is amazing and they have an eclectic taste of food with a wide variety of grilled food. Very authentic and well served food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Try to be there a bit earlier than your desired time so that you can get a nice table. The downstairs level is my favourite. You can find many restaurants and cafes around this restaurant too. The area is unique because you can find many services around you, for instance a barbershop, nightclub, mall, Egyptian dessert shops, and banks. Easy and safe to park and you can find a spot near the restaurant. Enjoy! 😎

New branch with better ambience, although we didn’t admire all dishes but some deserves 5 stars, Mumbar, Kebab and vine leaves were delicious, kofta wasn’t the best but okay. The reason also for the 5 stars is the pricing which is very very reasonable for the food quality, quantity and service.

You can not miss eating in El Menoufy. One of the best places for grilled meat. Tasted and clean food. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Horrible in every way. The food was really bad and tasteless, some of it was definitely reheated and served. The salads and dips were also terrible. The TVs are really loud and the place is not well ventilated. Honestly the only good thing was the bread, they served a Baladi Bread basket that was freshly baked. They used to be my favorite Kebab restaurant in New Cairo but it is definitely one of the worst.

One of the best Kababgy s in my opinion. Staff are really friendly and if you say any comment in the dishes, they replace them at once. Food is always fresh and delicious. Price is considerably fine. If you sit in any restaurant you will pay the same or even more whilst eating less quantities of food. New branch of the restaurant, which is a few blocks away, is way lot fancier and more elegant- making you want to go and sit there!

We tried both hamam and mumbar and it was so delicious. Rice was seasoned to perfection and mumbar had just the right amount of spices and was cooked perfectly. The place was so clean and the hosts were joyful and helpful and we got served in fraction of time. Highly recommended.

We ordered beef kebabs but we were served with lamb kebabs which was very tasty yet fatty. The waiters brought the orders wrongly twice and then got them fixed. The food taste is good especially the steak cooked in foil in the oven. It was tender and delicious. I recommend the experience but you have to be careful with your order and the service.

Awesome restaurant with traditional Egyptian food! Excellent and very fast service, cozy atmosphere, delicious Egyptian food. We ordered a mixed barbecue plate, rice, some salads and traditional Egyptian soup Molokhia. If you order just a plain Molokhia like we did, you will get to see a Molokhia show (a video attached 😉). But they also serve Molokhia with lamb or other types of meat which is very delicious. I highly recommend this place!
