March 2020 The sweets available are really the most delicious. However, I got them packed for later. I had Amritsari paneer stuffed Kulcha with chana and it was as good as any that one can get anywhere else in India. The spices in the chana were just right, there was enough paneer in the stuffing, unlike at many other places. Well worth the money. The mixed veg manchurian was also delicious with the right mix of vegetables. The ambience too is very pleasant and service quick. Also very reasonably priced given the location and the crowd. Feb 2021 Visited again & had Makki di Roti & Sarson ka Saag.

Very good store. Wide range of offering from snacks to sweets. Can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Also good for chaats and evening snacks. Wide range of Bengali and non-Bengali sweets. Very affordable price, infant cheap compared to more prominent neighbors. Has ample place to sit and dine.

Since 1937. Well I didn't get the significance of this name of the restaurant. Because, you hardly find any sweets taste like bengali sweets do. I am not satisfied as a Bengali with the menue and the taste they're providing. I can't believe I ordered chhole bhature there because that was the only hot item available there in that particular time.

This is for Indians who foolishly feel proud of wasting money on popular name with no value. This shop is disgusting with kind of price and popularity their snacks are so bad only a shameless person who is proud to be a fool will visit this disgusting place. And wow pani puri you will get much better in bombay footpath.

One of the oldest eatary in Bengali market. Quite packed in lunch and dinner times. Seating arrangement is little tidy but manageable. Good for family. They should give little emphasis towards cleanliness. Overall taste wise they have average food.

Delicious food!! We ordered a stuffed kulcha, and chole bhature, both were excellent! They have several options including south Indian varieties even though the restaurant name doesn't indicate so. There is also a wide range of sweets and savories available for take away.

Came here for dinner. We have come before and take sweets occasionally. It's a really nice place. Must visit. Everything's nice about it. Food, service, vibe, price, everything. We had golgappa (suji ones), aloo tikki (one plate has 2, jalebis (1 plate has 10 pieces), paneer dosa (served with sambhar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney) and tea (both tea and coffee are machine ones). All the items were great. Loved them. Will continue to come again and again. Added are also some photos from the time We ordered dosa, dahi bhalla, chole bhatoore and gulab jamun. Lovely food.

The place is good. Food is good ..they offer wide variety of food and snacks. They also have cakes, pastries, etc. Place interiors are nice. They have seating area of around 30 people. A good option for quick bite...they are located in bengali market which is also a quite posh area. The staff is polite and prompt. They also serve food promptly . They have good varieties of biscuits as well.

What better than treating your taste buds to a sumptuous comfort meal at the iconic @bengalisweethouseandpastryshop in the heart of Lutyens since 1937. We indulged in their bestsellers - Raj kachori, Mysore masala dosa, Rajma rice and their handcrafted cookies alongside the refreshing Badam milk. Each dish was an explosion of flavours. Coming back to try their thalis and sweets.

This is one of my favorite spot for all kind of indian sweets. The quantity and quality both are really good. Sweets are a bit expensive here, but worth to try.

Bought 1kg of these laddoos for RakshaBandhan yesterday (30-08-23) . The taste is pathetic it tastes like it is made of material which has gotten bad . Taste of bad oil is in every bite , it has the potential to cause stomach disorders . I’m forced to throw this away . Big disappointment from such a landmark sweet shop , they should live upto their name and prestige they carry (The look is tempting but don’t let it fool you )

Dead sizzler in cold cabbage wrap We had ordered paneer sizzler, first time saw a hot plate with cold food. There were no vegetable except capsicum and total 4-5 1 cm by 1cm by .4 cm paneer pieces. Cold fried rice in cabbage skin. Never ever order sizzler here Rest bhature chole was good. Biscuits are truly good

Tried their famous Golgappas. They were delicious to say the least. They use mineral water for the "pani" of the Golgappas. The filling inside the puri was tangy but not too much which I like. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity of Bengali Market.

I feel sad to give low rate to this restaurant considering I have grown up coming to place specially for chole bhature, dahi Tikki etc… and now if you see the place it need major renovations. The food still tastes good but the over all ambiance is so sad.

Food is at very reasonable price and it's good, though AC don't usually cool the place if 6-7 families are dining together.

This is an amazing place to chill out with friends or family. The taste of food is also awesome. Must try- Dosa, Chole bhature etc. Waiters are also helpful and active here. And the cost of the food is also not high. There is enough space here to sit and eat.

A typical Delhi place to have your meals. Try out the chola bhatura here and the rajma chawal. Will give you the best possible Delhi feels. The sweets and bakery items of this store are also famous.

I visited this place on 17.12.2022 for lunch. We ordered uthapam mix veg, shahee paneer with tawa roti (without butter), one kesar badam milk and gajar ka halwa. Uthapam was really good however the coconut chatni was not good. Being a south indian i know the taste but the sambhar was superb. Shahee paneer was blunt to be honest. Tawa roti was really soft. Gajar ka halwa was also good. Manpower is good. But i still got the menu late after sitting for 10 minutes and had to ask for menu 2-3 times. They have washbasin and also bathroom. This place has both dine in facikity for lunch and also this is a sweet shop. And sweets are really fresh as they have a good demand and sells quickly.

I went to this place today with my friend. We ordered a rajkachori and lemonade. Neither of them was good. Rajkachori was soft and the filling was bland whereas the lemonade was too sweet. I had to add water twice in it to make it taste normal. Otherwise the ambiance and service was good. Maybe their specialty is something else and we ordered the wrong this which is why we had an okayish experience.

4 stars only for chhole bhature and Gulab jamun rabri. It's a kind of place where you go only for food and not for ambience. It is reasonably priced and they are consistent with thier taste.
