Khandani Pakode Wala is a famous eatery in New Delhi, known for its delicious and wide variety of pakoras (fried fritters). Located in the Sarojini Nagar area, this family-run stall has been serving crispy, flavorful pakoras for several decades. The menu includes a range of options such as aloo (potato), paneer (cottage cheese), onion, spinach, and more, often accompanied by tangy chutneys. It's a popular spot for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy traditional Indian snacks.

A legendary spot for crispy, flavour-packed pakoras that always hit the mood 😋🔥 The place has a simple, no-fuss setup with a steady crowd, which already tells you how popular it is. Their pakoras are the real highlight — hot, crisp and full of that classic Delhi street-style taste 🌶️🥟✨ From paneer to potato to mixed varieties, everything comes out fresh and satisfying. Prices are fair, service is quick, and it’s a perfect stop when you want something hot, crunchy and comforting on the go 🙂🙌✨

Khandani Pakode Wala: A Legacy of Crispy Perfection 3 Stars - A Must-Visit for Authentic Delhi Street Food Stepping up to Khandani Pakode Wala is more than just grabbing a snack; it's engaging with a piece of Delhi's culinary history. Located right on the bustling Ring Road near Sarojini Nagar, this generations-old establishment instantly feels like a pilgrimage site for every street food enthusiast. The sheer variety on display is dazzling, a vibrant kaleidoscope of deep-fried delights that tempts you from the moment you join the crowd. The genius of Khandani lies not just in the sheer volume of pakodas—from the ubiquitous Aloo and Paneer to the more unique, seasonal offerings like Kamal Kakdi (lotus stem) and Palak (spinach)—but in their consistent quality. Each pakoda is a masterpiece of texture: perfectly crispy on the outside, a savory, soft filling within, and blessedly non-greasy. You can tell the oil is fresh, and the batter recipe has been perfected over decades. My personal favorite remains the Paneer Pakoda. The paneer is incredibly fresh, soft, and melts in your mouth, perfectly contrasted by the spicy, crunchy outer layer. The Kamal Kakdi Pakoda is another standout—a delightful, earthy crunch that you rarely find elsewhere, making it a true specialty of the house. However, the real star, the element that elevates this experience from great to legendary, is the chutney. This tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet tamarind-based condiment is nothing short of exceptional. Its unique, thick consistency and powerful flavor profile are the perfect counterpoint to the savory fritters. It’s the secret weapon that keeps me coming back, turning a simple plate of pakodas into an addictive feast. The fact that the pakodas are cut and served to you fresh from the fryer, swimming in this iconic chutney, makes the whole experience wonderfully authentic and messy. Beyond the pakodas, the place offers a few other delights, including a refreshing Badam Milk/Almond Milk. It strikes the perfect balance—creamy without being too thick, with just the right amount of almond chunks for added texture. It’s a fantastic palate cleanser after the spicy heat of the chutney. While the service is quick and efficient, keeping the long line moving, it's worth noting that the experience is authentically "street side." Expect standing-room-only, and be prepared to jostle slightly with the enthusiastic crowd. It's a busy, functional stall, and while some critics mention hygiene concerns typical of high-volume street vendors, the palpable tradition and exceptional taste overwhelmingly win out for me. Khandani Pakode Wala is a true culinary landmark. It’s an essential Delhi experience that beautifully showcases the simple, delicious magic of Indian street food. If you are anywhere in the vicinity, make a stop. It’s the gold standard for pakodas and a taste of history you can't miss. Must Try: Paneer Pakoda, Kamal Kakdi Pakoda, and definitely a generous drenching of their signature chutney.

Khandani Pakodewala truly lives up to its name! The pakoras here are crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each bite is packed with authentic taste, and their special chutneys take the experience to another level. Whether you try the classic aloo and onion pakoras or their unique seasonal varieties, you won’t be disappointed. The place has an old-world charm and a legacy of serving delicious snacks for generations. If you love street food, this is a must-visit spot!

Different varieties of pakoras available. Not bad but not something outstanding where people hyped about this place. They make fresh pakodas, chanies are excellent. This is a street food place and don’t expect hygiene over a level. Still not sure why a known street food place can’t make sure the basics of hygienes of surroundings

Looked like quite a popular place in the area. Different types of pakodas are sold at a reasonable price. It is an old shop running for last 60 years. Although crowded, service was quick. The taste was decent but hair in my pakoda ruined the experience for me.

It's a must visit place for the old schools or people who have been eating from here for countless years . The pakodas is fresh and tasty , and their chutney is to die for , kind of different consistency as usual chutney and the punch of tamarind hits different, just love it. Their must try are : Paneer pakodas Corn pakodas Kamal kakdi pakodas And not to mention , they also have several different snack items and gujrati farsans , including fafda , chips , dry fruit chikki , dry fruit sweet , and several other items . And honourable mention to the badam milk / Almond milk , It is neither too thick nor too thin , just perfect drinkable consistency, and chunks of almonds add more crunch and flavour to the drink . Loved it. They also have mango lassi etc in beverage options .

Totally Amazing taste for Pakodas and surely the best ones I have eaten in Delhi among many. The Pakodas are freshly fried regularly. They have tremendous variety of those at good prices. The taste of pakoda with their special chutney is totally unique. Would surely recommend this place to Pakoda lovers specially in Monsoon. Overall Rating - 4.5/5 Price - 16 Rs/Pakoda for most Pakodas and 22 Rs/Pakoda for some of these.

An old authentic classic street place to have varied variety of Pakodas. I have been raised having pakodas from here and always enjoyed them. I recently came back from Canada and had them again when I realised that the taste has not changed at all. The chatnee is thin but tangy and spicy which o love.

"A Timeless Delight – Veg Pakodas from Khandani Pakodas. We tried their Matar seekh pakoda and onion pakoda. I personally loved the Matar seekh ones. And the chutney is AMAZING! Despite being from an old establishment, the quality hasn’t faded at all. The pakodas are always fresh, piping hot, and made with the same love and attention that has kept the locals coming back for years. Whether paired with a tangy n spicy chutney or enjoyed on their own, they’re a snack that continues to bring comfort and nostalgia. In an era where fast food has taken over, it’s rare to find a place that still delivers authentic flavors, and Khandani Pakodas is exactly that.

This place isn’t what it used to be. Earlier, their pakoras had a unique taste and crowd — people would buy kilos for guests at home. Today, both the quality and charm are gone, though prices keep rising. Nothing special now; you can get similar pakoras anywhere on the roadside. Once a name, now just ordinary

A street side and type old shop. U can relinquish on taste. Various types of pakodas (Fritters) and other street food items available. U have to park your vehicle on the road side. Kindly follow the traffic 🚦 rules as not to give inconvenience to others. Munch your food. Better to taste some item than bang on one item. U can pay by CASH, UPI. THANK YOU.

Bad experience yesterday’s evening. Purchase 06 mix pakora, 06 paneer pakora and 05 samosa . Paid Rs 440.00 . Mix pakora was very hard to eat and in dark brown shade. No taste in paneer pakora . As usual in dark shade. No taste at all. Chat I just like has phoos. While returning from Air port we have taken for guest. Khandani people doesn’t like such type of street food. Overall improvement is required for khandani pakora outlet. Very sad experience.
