Amazing little hideaway in the West End of LB with cool music and a nice vibe. Wasn’t expecting such a broad selection of vegan meals and pastries. We had the quinoa burger and the beet burger. Both were delicious, but I especially love the jalapeño kick of the beet burger. The grilled potatoes were an added treat. Topped it off with banana bread and a fresh cold brew. Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

I am absolutely thrilled to live nearby this cafe. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the owners are very accommodating, helpful, and eager to please. Their food is full of flavor and variety and served fresh and their coffees are delicious. The croissants are to die for- flaky, soft, and sweet. This place is a must try. I will definitely be coming back!

Tasty meals with large portions. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Things were a bit pricy. The burrito had a LOT of rice compared to additional fillings (2/3 to 1/3). The French toast was fantastic. The omelet was packed with veggies. The slated tables were slightly challenging with a child and fairly small for 3 people. Service was good, moderately fast. Enjoy!

Visiting my buddy in Long Beach for 4 days, we decided to check out this vegan place for breakfast. It was so good that we had breakfast there four days in a row. The tofu scramble was excellent but then I had the omelet which was so phenomenal that I ordered it 2 more times after. Potatoes that come on the side are always cooked perfectly. You can tell that they put a lot of care into everything they cook. The ham sandwich and the ricotta toast are two other standouts. My buddy was gushing about the burrito as well. Fantastic coffee was perfect. Well worth the ride from any of the surrounding towns. I'm jealous that this is not in my neighborhood.

Fermento in the West End of Long Beach was incredible!!!! The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious and the owners are the sweetest! 100% vegan! We definitely found a new favorite date spot 💖🌱

I feel so lucky to have Martina and Eddie running this vegan eatery in my community. The food is exceptional. The flavors, quality, and overall experience is wonderful. I have eaten everything there from breakfast lunch dinner to dessert. I have also had food catered from them. Every time I am pleased and so are my guests - some of which aren’t “vegan”. Thank you!!!

My fiancé and I came here for the first time today, and we both absolutely LOVED it! The food was amazing, the service and staff were so great, and we enjoyed the whole vibe. We will be coming back for sure. Thank you guys for a great lunch!

Locally owned vegan restaurant. Great spot for coffee and baked good. I've never had a bad meal here! Best Avocado Toast in LB and their pesto is incredible!

The "chicken" oyster mushroom burger is fantastic. Other menu options are good as well.

This place is a hidden gem in the west end neighborhood of Long Beach. If you are taking the train here, jump on the bus. Home cooked meals. Vegan delights! Get the avocado toast or pancakes. My two favs! Parlano Italiano!!

Food was DELICIOUS!! Got the Cuban sandwich I was nervous about the broccoli Rabe but it was perfect! Not bitter at all 9/10 my one this was the ratio from meat to broccoli. Maybe when the meat is purchased it is reshaped to fit the sandwich better. Also got the veggie panini and was also perfect! Highly recommend

I've only been here twice, but the food is amazing. I've had vegan French toast. The presentation was not only visually pleasing but absolutely delicious. The chick'n caccatore was divine. Their croissants are a gift to your taste buds. A must go to place.

I work in Long Beach and am SO thankful to have come across a local vegan business! I order delivery to my work every Saturday. Love their staple menu items like the avocado toast and chicory/dandelion root 'coffee' but also love the periodic changes in the menu. I love trying new menu items. Their carnitas tacos are amazing, falafel & hummus, etc. Recently tried one of their cake slices and it was perfect. Even if you aren't vegan, absolutely recommend. Great service, quality, and flavorful food!

Excellent food and service. I ordered the falafel with hummus. I asked if I could substitute the bread for salad. I was given fresh spinach and tomatoes. They drizzled some olive oil over it too. It was delicious! Furthermore, my family and I sat inside on a warm day. A guy was so nice to fill their room cooler with ice, to help us feel more comfortable. Thank you!!!

Fermento is a small local business enjoyed by the locals. Kudos to taking a chance and opening a vegan place. I must say the food is delicious, healthy and freshly prepared. My favorite is your breakfast burrito, loved the chili soup, and of course oat milk lattes:) Good job guys!

Fermento staff really just made my day. They helped me plan a birthday breakfast delivery and included a special touch with a happy birthday greeting on the bag. They were able to deliver the food earlier than expected, which was great for us. They were beyond helpful and patient and helped me ensure I had a variety of options for the family. This meant so much more because I was coordinating the surprise from Philly. I’m looking forward to visiting in person one day soon! Thank you, again!

The best way to start a day is to go to Fermento, get a coffee and one of the great pastry ! Really good ! Nice people own this quiet and peaceful place. Coffee is good and the pastries are delicious. Pistachio Cake was speechless, perfect balance ! 1 piece is not enough. Matcha Chocolate muffins, just out of the oven, is terrific ! I strongly recommend this place !

It's Vegan! What more can I say! Can't wait to try more of their menu! I'll be in the area this Mother's Day and excited to order everything I am going to eat for delivery. So convenient to have a local Vegan restaurant that delivers so that I can options to eat while visiting my Sister's home!

FANTASTIC! I went there for the first time today. The staff is absolutely lovely! The food is divine! The kids loved loved loved the food! Its a must!!!! They customized the burrito to my son and it was DELICIOUS! Can't wait to go again.

So happy I found this place ... Recently went organic and not eating any meat from animals ... Walked by it after picking up my laundry one day and once I went in I fell in love with the place, the food and the people ever since ... All the food is amazing and healthy and it’s hard not to keep ordering more once you start ! And besides the amazing breakfast options and lunch options you just want to bring home all the amazing home made breads, croissants, cakes and deserts home with you too !! Definitely recommend it and I can’t wait to bring my sister with me the next time she comes to visit me in Long Beach. Thanks Again !!!
