One of the most disgusting retail shops I’ve ever visited. Not to mention the change rooms have been closed for 2 DAYS?!?!?! Staff are too interested in having in-depth discussions with their workmates opposed to saying hello, help you find anything, or give you a slither of customer service at checkout. A complete joke of a retailer. Management should be ashamed.

Manager on Sunday October 22, 2023 As a traveler in town I stopped at this what appeared to be a lovely location to spend quite a bit of money. Since, I packed way too light for the weather. Since I will be here for a week I had roughly 400 dollars in clothing in my hand when I suddenly had to use the restroom. And, I know how NYC is. I knew it may of been a leap to find a restroom. But, I decided to leave the clothing with my partner. And start my search. After a few minutes of searching for the restroom the manager chased me down and screamed in my face because I had accidentally went down a marked "exit" path, that was next to where the employee break room is. Which, is my mistake. Though, I immediately turned around once I realized my mistake. And to my surprise I was being yelled at by the manager. I explained to him very kindly I would like to use the restroom and keep shopping afterwards. He told me to leave the store and go to Mcdonalds to use the restroom. After I explained that I was a paying customer, he told me and I quote "I do not care". I dropped my $400 dollars worth of clothes right where I left them and went to H&M instead. The manager lost a customer, and probably does very often. Very poor choice in hiring, especially for such a valued location.

I have always loved shopping at this location, however today I was taken aback by one of the employees’ customer service. I was asked for an email address to proceed at the checkout, to which I asked if I can bypass because I really could not remember which email I use for shopping off the top of my head. The cashier refused to proceed with checkout and insisted that she “needs an email” after some thinking I gave it to her and asked “what if you don’t have an email?” Say.. if it was my elderly parent shopping for example.. she responded to that question that “everyone has an email.” I just feel like I should not have to be heckled to provide an email if I don’t have one/don’t want to for whichever reason, and that is my right!! Employees need better customer service skills.

The store is amazing but the staff we encountered were so so rude. One of us is a transplant patient and had to sit for a few minutes due to pain. The closest thing to a chair was the solid block that the mannequins stand on. She didnt move the mannequin but definitely had to sit. Someone with a walkie decided to engage her 3 separate times insisting she moves. When we explained that the person sitting on the block is a transplant patient who simply needed to sit for a few minutes, his response was "I don't care." He even went as far as to call security. They claim the mannequin would fall or break which was so ridiculous. Total amount of time spent sitting was less than 15 minutes. He spent about 8 minutes being rude and unsympathetic. Some human he is. She never moved....security eased up but not ol boy.... We will never come in here again. Considering how far we drove to come to NY. I know that with this attitude, this person will not last with this company and if this is what customer service means to the company, then neither will Forever 21. The people you disrespect are the reason you stay in business. Shame on this awful supervisor!!!! Picture of the block and part of the massive mannequin attached.

What type of clothing store offers good prices, discounts, a variety of sizes and, wait for it….NO DRESSING ROOMS. Yes, you heard me correctly. We had our arms full of clothes for my 12 year old daughter to try on, but they said that all of the changing rooms were closed. Whhhhat? So strange. What do people do? Just go somewhere else, seriously. We are in NYC, people - and we came from Idaho where all we have are potatoes and cows. I was at least expecting that we could try stuff on. Big thumbs down here - hope this review saves you time.

My daughter wanted to go-to this store. I put it on gps and didn't realize it was in the middle of Time Square. The traffic was horrible to get there. Got very lucky with parking, but had to stay in the car while she shopped. Surprisingly for all the clothes she purchased it didn't come out expensive. I thought it would be really bad due to the location.

This is my go go place when I land at time square. Always bright and open to welcome women and men to shop something trendy and stylish. There are 3 levels to this, starting with the main level and lower levels. The mall like structure makes it easy for elevator to work and wheelchair accessible. They also have multiple mirrors to check out your chic look Check out this place for once and you’ll never leave unsatisfied

This is an okay store and they have some good deals. However, the mens section is quite small. They also appear to be understaffed as there are long queues that take a while to be moved along due to a small number of staff on the tills.

6/10/2022 I was racially profiled at this store. I decided to stop by to shop and kill time while I was in the area and I had my grocery cart with me. I knew I would attract attention because of it but not to the extent that this f21 went. They followed me around the whole entire store. Every time I turned around there was a security guard watching me. I understand theft is an issue now a days but there are signs that someone is stealing and I was clearly just shopping around. I didn’t pick up anything only a slippers and I ended up leaving them because I was so uncomfortable. I would never vouch for this company again and would recommend that all poc stop shopping here as we are clearly not welcome. I only have pictures of the last security guard before I left acting like he’s not following me.

So I am what is considered extremely fat. I'm about a 3X, 4X and most clothing which is definitely outside of what Forever 21 sales. Even there Forever 21 plus section has closed that I wouldn't exactly put in the plus-size section, but that's fast fashion for you and I'm not mad at the store for that. I was at this location for my friend who could also be considered plus-size but much smaller than me. She was looking for a sweater, which you would assume would be in any store during the winter times, but Forever 21 had none. The jackets were short and their sweaters were like. It is New York in the winter how do you expect people to stay warm?? But then again fast fashion I wouldn't believe they had it anyway. My friend was also unhappy to see that they did not sell any shoes pass size 7 and 1/2. That we were informed by one of the staff members that all largest sizes could be found online. Is the very large Store, with three floors currently, I think they're doing something special to the 4th bottom floor so we were not able to go on to that floor, but it's big enough that everyone should be able to say 6 feet apart during these times. If you are larger than a 2X, I would not recommend going here for anything fast shoes and jewelry

The store itself is ok, but only one dressing room open in the whole store. Need to take all clothes with you 3 stairs up and stand in a line for 30 minutes. This is not good customer service. Asked some of the personnel that worked there if there are other dressing rooms available, and they answered " Do you see some?"

Staff was absolutely unprofessional. Went to the cashier, NOBODY greets me. When I had paid, the cashier girl hands me my bag and says nothing. I thank her, she says nothing. Only talking to her collegue. She did not thank me, greet me or give me any form of good customer service. The sales signs were very misleading, telling to buy 2, getting 1 free about hair accessories. There was a sign right next to my hair accessories of choise, but at the cashier I was told they do not include into the offer. No sign said that. Also what is it about the dressing rooms closing 1 hour before???? Came from finland being all excited to visit this store, only for me to carry on 15 different clothing for not being able to even try them on. Unbelievable

Took my daughter shopping to the Times Square store - she picked up several items of clothing she needed to try on. We asked where the fitting rooms were and were directed up two floors. A rude assistant then said that all the changing rooms were closed and offered absolutely no solutions. What kind of customer service is this? We, like several other annoyed customers, just put everything on a rack and left. Will not be going back and will never shop online!

This location had 4 floors. Music played on the speaker. Good deals. Sale rack items said $12, but that was half price, so I paid $6 . A lot to choose from.

Asst Manager Brey is an angel..... my pick up item did not show up yet at their system but instead of telling me to come back the following day- she took the effort twice to look around if my box is just lying around. And she found it- she didnt give up! Thank you Brey- you made one customer happy! I bought 2 colors of this puffer corduroy jacket. They are soooo comfty and fits well!

My wife loves the cheetah print section! Great quality, great attitudes by employees. As a 52-year-old NYC native who owns a deli, this place was nice. Happy wife, happy life haha

Horrible manager and bad management. Went in to get pants for my 7yo son as his pants were soaking wet after playing in a sprinkler park. First, store signs are wrong (kids clothes are on B1 but shows as B3 in all signs). When we were on B3, I saw a few other parents with kids who were also confused by the sign and couldn’t locate the kids section. A security guy tried to help but brought us to another wrong floor. When we finally found our way down to the right floor, we found out the changing room was not open, and my son had to try on the new pants by the rack. We went up and shared with the cashier that there was no changing room. She said the room won’t open for another 20 min and I should just wait. I complained to the manager that there is no changing room, the signs are wrong and the staff don’t know where things are, and she yelled at me and said I should just leave if I don’t want the pants. It’s shocking that a flagship store at time square is so poorly managed, and the manager would yell at her customer vs. understanding the issues and trying to fix them. I would never go back.

Their employees are really snobbing. They sell a pair of lashes for 13 dollars, I thought I heard something wrong because from other stores, one pair of lashes only costs 2-5 dollars, so I asked what's the price again. Then this one cashier, “a lady” looked 28-35 years old, looked at me from head to toe from toe to head like she was judging me, then she started sneering, slammed the item and repeated the price, so I left. Apparently I don't know what is wrong with her, and honestly I don't know if her education/manner has ever been taught, that's why she's acting that way. But at least she taught me what will make a person “TRASH”.
