I walked into artiste jewelers with many different pieces in need of repair. After a thorough evaluation of each item, I was told the needs and cost (all fair considering the work involved). Everything was very clearly explained and transparent. I am so happy with the end results! They did many different things for me-- restrung pearls, polished pieces, repaired chains and clasps, reset a small missing diamond in a ring, and repaired a vintage ring that involved delicate detail work. Everything came out beautifully and looks like new! Reasonable turn around time (1-1.5 weeks), and I received a text as soon as the items were ready for pick up. Definitely recommend,

I came to Gee at Artiste Jewelers to purchase an engagement ring based on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm quite pleased with my results. I had a bunch of opinions, a few ideas, and exactly three photos, and from those inputs, we were able to make something really special. Gee was extremely communicative throughout the process. He indulged my whims and even brought in some unconventionally colored diamonds for me to look at. In the end, the ring looks fantastic, it's sufficiently unique, and he was even able to beat the expected delivery date by a few days (it's good to have a little runway for these kinds of things). If you're shopping around for fine jewelry, I think paying Artiste Jewelers a visit for an opinion and/or quote will be worth your while.

I have been in the possession of my husband's grandmother's very traditional pronged-setting ring - with a sapphire and two diamonds. It was hard for me to wear - except on rare occasions - because the stones set up so high on the ring. Gee and I worked together to reimagine it into two very wearable and modern looking rings. I can stack them or wear one on each hand. We are thrilled.

it has been my go-to for most of my upper west side jewelry help/ buys but I did have a bad experience recently. I was guided to a pretty expensive "fix" to one of my jewelry issues (broken lock) and we decided to get a second opinion. When I decided to go with the second opinion, I was treated quite poorly (potentially what you do with new business), but it was not great conversation and I was told "I was not a good listener". I was good listener, I just didn't think they had charged and refunded my credit card before I showed up with the actual physical card. My bad. if you are ready to be told that, then go ahead.

I purchased an engagement ring, as well as an Australian Boulder Opal that are both beautiful and exactly what I needed. My fiancee is very happy with her new jewelry! What a lovely experience I had at Artiste Jewelers. I have always admired their beautiful jewelry in the window when I walk by. Recently I inherited a ring from my mother and it needed a good polish so I went into Artiste Jewelers to have it done. They could have not been more polite and kind. This is a lovely but incredibly overpriced jewelry store. I went in to find out if they could squeeze a loosened bezel because the CZ was in danger of falling out of the gold bezel. The told me it was “unfixable.” That I needed to buy a new earring. For twice as much as the old one cost. I took it around the corner to Diamond Mine and they squeezed it and did not charge me. 2 years later it is still in the setting. I guess it could be fixed after all.

Visited this neighborhood shop looking for a specific item. Instead of just telling me they didn’t have it, the owner suggested they make the piece to order. Through a process of verbal descriptions and drawings we arrived at the design. The finished necklace is just what I wanted! It was a pleasure doing business here. Now I have a go to jewelry shop in my neighborhood.

Gee and the team at Artiste did a PHENOMENAL job on my wedding band set. Not only did they make an absolutely stunning custom ring they also were able to seamlessly resize my engagement ring. I was truly blown away by the care taken and the incredibly craftsmanship. I recommend them to any and all people who want to have their expectations more than met!
