Good selection of kwartha ice cream flavours at reasonable prices, nothing spectacular. Was told at the checkout that I could not order the crepes because of high customer volume which was a huge disappointment. Fresh fruit Mango smoothie barely tasted like mango, tasted more like straight up ice. Even when it melted down, just tasted like mildly favoured water. I’m sure it is fresh fruit, but defin not a lot of it…Not worth $5.99. Would not come here again.

My family (the four of us) ordered ice cream and smoothies and I went next door, got myself a cup of soup. I came back with the soup and started eating while my family was there eating their ice cream. The owner came up to me and said that I cannot have the soup there. The place was empty except our family. I was planning to get ice cream after I finished my soup. We ended up going back to the soup place. They let us eat the ice cream there and we ended up getting more soup to go. We will not be coming back to this ice cream shop. Nothing special with their ice cream any way - can get it in hundred of other stores around.

Nice little ice cream joint with pretty good ice cream flavor variety. The location is perfect of you plan to have dinner somewhere on Main Street in Newmarket because it gives you an option for ice cream, crepe and/or waffles for dessert.

Honestly one of the best ice creams i have ever eaten. Cookies & cream flavour was amazing ! Prices are fair, similar to baskin Robbins And the shop is real cute! Definitely going back soon !!

Not family friendly. It’s too bad the ice cream is great but the staff are consistently rude. We have visited multiples times but this will be our last strictly due to the customer service. They yell at you when you ask for “kid/ baby scoops” and try to make you buy the single scoops. Customers behind us received the same treatment and left with the same bad service.

We love Kwartha Ice cream at Bene Bene. There are lots of variety to choose from. The elevated location of the store is perfect for eating ice cream while watching cars and people pass by in front of the shop as it is made of glass.

A great team of staff were ready to dish up some ice cream for my daughter and I, lickity-split and our family had a wonderful ice cream pit stop on a warm day! Thanks Bene Bene!

Friendly local desert place that has Kawartha ice cream !!!! It is a moms and pops place ... Slow service but excellent service .. good to seat down and chat while you wait for your waffle.

Got ice cream with my family here today. Staff were rushing us and my 3 year old changed his mind and wanted a different flavour. They said because it was already scooped he couldn't change it. I also asked how many ice creams there were in total on the receipt and the cashier snapped at me simply for asking. Do yourself a favour and drive up the road to Kawartha dairy where the customer service is great and you can get the same ice cream.

Nice local ma's and pa's ice cream shop. Good service and good ice cream. Had the crepe with strawberries, bananas, Nutella, and chocolate syrup. Felt kind of pricey for a small shop but fair considering the location and compared to the prices of other shops nowadays.

Quick stop for ice cream! They feature all kawartha ice cream. All crepes and waffles are made to order. Staffs are friendly. The prices are decent. There are parking near by for 30 mins.

The staff here is extremely unprofessional and rude. We were a group of 7 including children. At one point while we were ordering, the person got extremely annoyed. My nephew wanted sorbet but the person who was serving us said the sorbet cannot be put on a cone. Okay, no problem - we asked my nephew what else he would prefer, he said he would like chocolate chip. The server was extremely annoyed, impatient and rudely responded back as we were trying to clarify with a 4 year old which ice cream he wanted. When my brother-in-law made a comment about how he was treating us. Instead of apologizing he started to argue and take zero accountability. We decided to take our business elsewhere and a bunch of people waiting in line left as well who mentioned this isn’t the first time they are rude. I will never go back to this establishment. They have zero customer service skills. Reading the comments, it’s obvious this is a common theme for this place.

It was a huge disappointment ... we ordered a crepe for my daughter, and I was told rudely that they were sold out. I then ordered a waffle for her , and they told me I could only take it to go. All 4 of us were so looking forward to coming here but it was terrible! The sherbet we ordered was tasty, but they didn't even fill the cone up properly.

Had the chocolate chip ice cream with the kids last weekend, staff were friendly, great little family joint.
