Heard
the
hype
from
google
reviews
and
had
to
try
as
a
local
-
this
is
so
close
to
me
so
if
I
was
REALLLLY
hoping
this
would
be
the
best
fried
chicken
and
I
won't
have
to
go
to
markham/korea
town.
I
saw
a
lot
of
reviews
saying
"This
is
the
best
fried
chicken
I've
ever
had"
-
which
now,
after
trying
it...
that's
just
sad.
Unless
these
are
all
friends
of
the
owners
or
have
never
eaten
out
of
Newmarket,
then
I
get
it.
We
pulled
up
after
I
placed
a
pickup
order
through
doordash,
and
the
lady
working
cash
was
outside
smoking
with
a
friend
-
she
seemed
very
fun
and
friendly
so
I
was
glad
to
see
that
because
I
love
when
staff
are
personable
and
kind.
However,
this
was
not
the
case
because
when
we
walked
in,
her
face
was
complete
gloom.
No
expression,
no
smile.
My
partner
had
gone
in
to
pick
up
the
doordash
order
whole
I
sat
in
the
car
-
the
lady
refused
to
give
it
to
him
even
though
he
had
my
confirmation
on
his
phone
as
well.
He
had
to
come
out
and
get
me
and
have
me
come
in
because
she
demanded
a
'Code'
-
she
almost
didn't
give
it
to
me
as
well
but
I
explained
that
we're
not
doordash
drivers
picking
up
for
someone
else,
but
rather
ordered
the
items
through
doordash
and
it's
under
my
account..
I
saw
her
finally
grumble
and
let
me
take
my
order.
Wow,
thanks
so
much
for
your
kind
and
hard
work!
You're
so
brave.
Anyway,
we
went
home
and
realized
although
I
paid
extra
for
the
garlic
parm
fries,
we
just
got
regular
fries.
And
the
regular
chicken
wings
came
with
fries
anyway...so
now
we
have
3
boxes
of
regular
fries.
Nice..
too
much
hassle
and
too
cold
outside
to
go
out
again
so
we
just
kind
of
accepted
it
but
that's
annoying.
Also
we
didn't
want
to
encounter
the
lady
working
the
front
again
as
she
probably
already
labelled
us
as
problematic.
I
was
really
impressed
by
the
menu
and
how
there
were
so
many
flavours
but
after
trying
a
couple,
the
flavours
we
chose
were
extremely
mediocre
and
almost
felt
like
it
was
the
same
flavour,
different
font
(lol).
The
chicken
tendies
weren't
bad
at
all.
The
prices
were
also
pretty
expensive
as
you
can
go
20min
to
Markham
and
get
way
better
+
flavourful,
fresher
and
cheaper
fried
chicken
(ahem

Overall,
I
am
not
impressed
with
the
double
whammy
of
mediocre
fried
chicken
and
less
than
kind
staff
which
left
a
sour
taste
in
our
mouths.
I'm
sure
the
owner
is
probably
kind,
but
this
lady
at
the
front
may
be
driving
away
business
for
you.
