Food was average. Chips where lovely but came in a dirty pot which had old cranberry sauce still in it and on the chips. Staff where apologetic but I won’t be back. Hygienic standards need improved. If you can’t clean a chip container what else don’t you clean.

Food wasn't good, Chicken wings like rubber. We sent the 1st portion of wings back as they where cold, the 2nd set where slightly warmer but like rubber. The burger was edible but tasteless. For a Saturday lunchtime the place was empty, only us an another 2 tables occupied, now I know why, definitely won't be back

Excellent venue in the large upstairs area for music events or for special occasions. Attended a special birthday celebration there, great social area with beautiful food served. Also very nice staff.

My Daughters hen party was in the Rose Lounge and I couldn't have asked for a better venue. Drinks, cocktails and food service amazing. Room dressed to the highest perfection would highly recommend any party or event you wish to be classy to be staged here. Thanks to Mark and staff. John and Beverlry xxx

Called in for Sunday dinner , and I have to say it was the best we've had in a long time , the service was great and the food was excellent everything from starter to dessert and coffee , Could not complain about anything, , most definitely will be back, 👍

We went as there was a Meat Loaf tribute show advertised and love his music so decided to give it a go. Past here every day of the week but had never really been in. It was easily booked online and very reasonable £50 for 2 starters, 2 mains and show entrance. Arrived at allotted time and quickly shown to seat and drinks ordered. Food arrived promptly and as ordered. Paid for everything and then the food taken off the bill leaving just the drinks. Shown upstairs where we had a table reserved which was nice surprise. Really didnt know what to expect but my goodness did we have a good time. The tribute act was great but the DJ really read the room and knew exactly what songs to play both in the interval and the after gig disco. Of particular note is a cracking pint of Guinness for a fantastic £3. I don't know if anywhere is doing such a bargain. Secondly the staff who were really good and attentive both downstairs and upstairs. Management should be proud to have the little dynamo racing about the place working so hard all night. Didnt get her name but she made me tired just watching her whizz about the place. A person like that really deserves credit for such great service as do all the staff. Into work today telling everyone they need to try the place out. Great night.

Always loved eating here until today. Chips were hard in the middle. I complained was given a fresh dinner. Chips still hard in the middle. Interestingly staff didn’t come back to ask about my food the 2nd time. Asked for the bill girl give me the bill without even a thank you. Went to pay for it young fella behind the counter impeccable manners asked if everything was ok said no chips were still hard can you please tell the cook he apologised a few times. As I was going out I heard the cook quite clearly saying I cooked those chips they were fine. Chips are meant to be fluffy in the middle and crispy outside at least that’s what I was given previously in this establishment. Not sure that some of the staff realise it is bad manners to speak about someone behind their back. Shame some of the staff didn’t take a lesson in manners from the young guy behind the bar. Bottom line is with the prices of eating out I don’t mind paying for something that is as it should be. Still paid even though all I had eaten was the beef and carrot and parsnip. Don’t like giving this review much but if I had of been treated differently by some of the staff perhaps I would have said nothing.

My daughter, myself and friends went to Mollys on Friday 5th of August. There was a tribute night of Ed Sherrian. What a fantastic night . The place was extremely busy , staff were very friendly, extremely attentive. We had a 2 course meal which was delicious. I have been quite a lot recently especially for lunch or dinner . Food always delicious and staff fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We booked for dinner before heading to the cinema, I had ordered the chicken stack and asked if the pepper sauce had beef stock in it as I dont eat red meat and if it did just a plain chicken stack will be ok, well blown away in 2 minutes the chef arrived at the table! Can I make you a vegetarian pepper sauce, being a Friday evening I said no its ok I will have it plain, no its no bother I can make this and he did. Fantastic service chef totally gone out of his way and I will be back and highly recommend to all my friends. Really good food, hot on arrival. Attentive staff

We went here for dinner on Friday night. It was amazing! The food was so good and the onion rings were so light and crispy. We had steaks and they were done perfectly. Great Guinness and desserts too and the staff were excellent and just so nice. They are Dog friendly too which was great. Our staffy even got cuddles before we left. Super night, very highly recommended! 😁👍

Called in for some food on passing through the town. Didn't seem all that busy however staff seemed to get caught up on the fact we hasn't booked a table and that we "were squeezed in" as a good will gesture. Food was just okay, I've definitely had nicer in this place when I was last in it. Won't be rushing back

We had dinner tonight at Molly Browns, roast beef and a chicken stack. Food outstanding, service first class. We highly recommend a visit, will return. Will & Sasha
