LOVED this place! I am a water girl so was thrilled to learn it was right on the Niagra river and fishing, fire pit, barbecue are and pool were available to guests. Room only gets 4 stars because for the price I feel there should be a single cup keurig in the room at the very least. Otherwise room was very clean and neat and looked nice. Owner is very friendly and kind. No pets allowed! Which is not too cool these days but there it it. Would definitely stay here again and again and again.

My friend and I booked a night there and we extended our reservation for an additional night. The manager is very friendly and professional and she welcomed us with great information about the area and activities nearby. Room is okay (very clean but microwave doesn't work well). Unlike many other motels in general, residents seem respectful and you get the impression that you are safe being surrounded by them. Great experience and we will go there again with our families.

Was clean, definitely not modernly renovated but that's okay! Beds could have been a little more comfortable. It's not a long drive from Niagara Falls which is where we went and was definitely fairly priced for what you get. We checked in super late at close to 4am but there was still someone to greet us in and she was very sweet about recommendations for things to do and how to go about Niagara.

Owner was very nice and gave all the list of activities that we can do near by. Rooms are ok for the price we get. It has a good view of the lake from the grill area back of the office. Might need some renovation as it looks old. I mostly stayed out to visit yhe places and just came to the motel for taking rest at night.

It’s not a good motel for young people. If you looking for just chilling out then it’s for you. It’s not clean and so much bugs and mosquitoes around. Pool are super dirty and they don’t bother to clean it. Room has very bad smell and sticky floor.

Omg stay away from this place..... it is old, dirty, locks are broken and unsafe. The tikes in the bathroom are broken and the bleach in the room was so strong it burnt my throat. Tge first room I went in the beds were covered In bugs I was told it was because of the river then I was told I have to close my door quick....... the second room we got had a strong smell of bleach so went to open the windows to see that they don't lock and there are holes in the screen and there is a big space underneath the main door which goes out doors.... so I goto the front desk and speak to the owner kathy who is very pleasant and explain to her I'm traveling with my grandchildren and need to lock up for their safety and the man that was there got very nasty.... I'm not sure how this place got an 8.3 star I would have given it a 0 if I could have ... the only thing good about it was it was on the river and it was on the our skirts of the city. Beware of the price spend the extra money and stay at the Sheraton it is a million times better. And in walking distance of the falls.

We traveled there 2 weeks ago. The first room we got was covered in nats, and they were crawling all over the beds. They said it was from the river from windows being open. We got another room, and it smelled insanely strong of bleach. We figured it was the bedding and asked for another set. They dont have any other sets because they send their bedding out for cleaning, and the company uses bleach so heavily that it made holes in everything else. None of the windows had locks, and the tiles in the bathrooms were cracked. The room was old and smelled like mildew besides the smell of bleach. The location was good, out of the city, and low crime rate. The woman running the place was nice and helped us out. Her husband was rude and completely rude. He told us to leave because we will keep nitpicking and we won't have a good time. He was overly rude. He wasn't worried about fixing anything or doing anything. All he was worried about was accents. He could've cared less about the disgusting rooms and how unsafe the rooms were.

Was a last minute find online. The host were super friendly, introduced us to many different places to visit, to eat, etc. The place were right opposite the Niagara River and about 15 minutes drive to Niagara Falls. The rooms were motel standard, clean which is the most important part. Comfortable for a night! 💯

A basic little family-run motel, but that said the owner was incredibly kind, the location on Niagra River was amazing & the rooms were standard yet homely. Only nitpicks are that the check-in office was a little hidden & the parking lot of designed on an annoying angle.

I'm kicking myself for not writing this review earlier but my recent visit to the falls from Ontario reminded me of my stay here. It was two years ago, and I've been to other places since then, but I can't forget my check-in here. This was the best check-in I've ever had. This stop was part of a three-month trip across the United States, I drove from New York City to this place, unfortunately it was raining heavily that day, which delayed my arrival considerably. I was surprised when I arrived at 3 am and found the receptionist still awake, waiting for me with a map at the desk. She helped me with all my questions and even expressed concern for my safety when I didn't arrive at the expected time. She explained how to visit the falls and the best spots for photos. When I arrived at my room, I saw that she had gone to sleep, which made me realize she had waited up just for me. I don't know if she remembers our interaction, but I'm beyond grateful for it. She has no idea how tired I was that day, and her kindness made all the difference. I treasure this place in my heart and hope to go back soon. I also can't forget the view of the falls from the green area this place has. Greetings from Mexico!

Great motel near Niagara Falls. The rooms were fine, but the staff was very friendly and helpful! Great cafe nearby for breakfast - Nelson’s cafe.

This hotel is a scam. I booked a room via a website and canceled it before 24 hours. As a policy from the website, I can cancel any booking within 24 hours with free of charge. However, the hotel still charged my credit card. Fortunately, I was able to get my money back with a help from a credit card company.

The rooms were clean and sufficient. The bath towels were super thick. We stayed the night of July 4th and the host invited all her guests to their BBQ, and then we had a bonfire while watching fireworks over the river. Quite an experience you won't get at a "chain motel".

Lovely Family owned motel on the Niagara river with a pool and close to the falls. The owners are pleasant and very helpful. It was nice sitting in the front and chatting with the neighbors. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

A nice throw back to the roadside motels from a bygone era. My wife loves the mid-century design we found around in our room. If you look close you can see the history in the structure and around the grounds. Would recommend for those needing a night or two get away from the kids.

Customer Service is so bad, There is no phone in the Room, there is no Shampoo or bar for taking shower and bathroom is very bad. tv was very old, room look like very old. highly recommended no good place for stay with family and friends, also it is very scaring night time. also no breakfast in this motel, no water in the room for drinking, no coffee machine or cups. also they are not doing room service because of covid 19. i take out my garbage my self. such a bad Motel in NY.

The Egyptian-owned motel by Amir and his wife is a beautiful stay topped only by the ever so kind hosts. I was greeted with a warm hour-long conversation about our common background and was welcomed with a late-night snack and an upgrade in the room. The location is breath-taking, just overlooking the water and the falls. The rooms are furnished with antique-style night tables, lamps, and chairs, and the rooms are well-kept, clean, and very spacious. Check-in and check-out were very easy and the owners were very lenient and accommodating. The hosts provided many options for site-seeing, activities both late and early in the day, and offered to look further into an outing I was interesting in. Needless to say, I was more than happy with my experience at Anchor motel. This will be the only place I stay from now on whenever I’m in the area.

The summer of 2016 I left my residence in Arizona and went on a road trip picked up my friend in Ohio. Once I picked him up we just drove just drove we never had a clear destination in mind nor were we on a schedule. So we ended up here and stayed one night absolutely love this place. I had never ever been on the East Coast so this was my first motel experience loved everything about it!! The only thing I remember not enjoying was how loud the bugs were there were some really loud bugs. The room was romantic and cozy a wonderful experience for a blooming Romance.

Decent place for the buck at a nice location. Rooms can be bit cleaner but decent for a motel.

This motel is exactly what I hoped it would be. It's on the river, with an amazing view. We will definitely be returning.

Can't beat the views and the staff is so friendly. Like the other reviews, it's a little outdated, but so cozy and the beds are comfortable. Definitely would return. Love from Mississippi

😠 I had a valid reservation last night 25May for 1 night with for my wife and I. I was told that I was good and even gave my credit card information for the reservation. We were told to just show up before midnight and we were good. I showed up at 11:10 or 11:15 with no one at the front desk and the...
