Great place to walk the wooded trails with incredible, up close views of the falls and rapids. Also, the trolley is a fun hop-on hop-off option. The Cave of the Winds is worth checking out, as well.

Beautiful nature area. In the warmer weather its better, but still beautiful in the cold seasons. You can see the bodies of water and very soothing place to be at.

Awesome views of all three falls. Make sure you go to Luna Island for views of Bridal Veil and American Falls, then hit the Terrapin Point for spectacular view of Horseshoe Falls. Also has nice walking paths along the river, and occasionally into the woods, for views of the rapids without all the crowds of people.

Amazing park. Free. Very walkable even with a stroller. Parking lots are available for about $15 but if you find cheaper/street parking on the mainland (hotel/casino) area, it is an easy walk back and forth. We ended up walking from the Sheraton parking lot (since we had laready paid for daily parking there during our hotel stay) with our 11 year old and 3 year old in a stroller and the trip back and forth was easy. Lots of scenic walking paths in the park. I would imagine it is especially lovely in the fall. Offers some amazing views of the American Falls. Very neat and well maintained.

We were really impressed with Goat Island! The view of the falls is unprecedented, and seeing that huge flow of water so close is breathtaking! Lots of places to snap a great picture and take in the view.

Thunderous power of nature, unforgettable sensation. Arriving by bus from New York it takes at least 6 hours but it's worth it. We walked around the perimeter of the American side, admiring the different ramifications from the various observation points that created an incredible spectacle. Honored Tesla statue. In the end we crossed the Canadian border and then the following day admired the show from the Canadian side with a cruise under the waterfalls, another unmissable experience. Fabulous.

I was always told the Canadian side of Niagara falls is better. To me, Goat Island was the crown jewel of the area. I don't come to a natural wonder to marvel at casinos, theme parks, and cheap tourist attractions. I come to see a natural wonder and some nature. Goat island is where you can do that.

Beautiful park. Just make sure you stay on the walkways. Don't get intranced with playing in the blue fast moving water.

Would recommend walking around the whole park! Great views of the falls, dog friendly and just a pretty walk! Parking in the lot was $10 and on a Saturday between 11:30am - 2:00pm there was plenty of parking!

👍👍 If you can get to the 3rd island there is a little path you can walk down (at your own risk) to get right up and close to the beautiful Canadian horseshoe falls. 🌊 🌊
