Prospect Point Observation Point at Niagara Falls, NY is an absolute must-visit. The view of the falls from here is nothing short of breathtaking. Standing at this vantage point, you can truly appreciate the raw power and beauty of nature. Witnessing this natural wonder up close is an experience like no other! It's interesting to note that American citizens are in the minority among tourists here. The observation point is well-maintained, and there are informative signs to enhance your understanding of the falls. It's a great spot for capturing stunning photos as well. Visiting here was a highlight of my trip to Niagara Falls, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.

Spectacular! Note that you need $1 cash each way if you cross the boarder by bridge but it is totally an amazing walk across the country boarder! While waiting to clear customs I talked to some lovely ladies who crossed into Canada from the US just to have lunch. The city if Niagara Falls,Ontario (what I saw of it) was clean, welcoming and beautiful. I honestly think the Canadians won the battle of the boarder cities in this competition! The American side had a beautiful historical park and the park had parts that were outdated restrooms and some areas under construction. The town of Niagara Falls NY looks over taxes and rundown. The streets were confusing to navigate as well! I would hate to be a driving foreigner on the American side. I think the US government needs to stop handing money over to foreign governments, foreign wars and start taking care of the U.S. parks, cities, roads and tourism.

Nice views. Area is very clean and was not overly crowded. If you went on Maid of the Mist you may want to save your poncho as the mist in the air can be very heavy almost rain like at times.

Best spot in the US side to view the fireworks. Get there at a minimum by 9pm to secure a spot by the railings. Fireworks start at 10pm on the dot and lasts for 5mins. I also went for a run here and saw my first full rainbow 🌈 for the first time!!!

Wow! A natural wonder before your eyes! American citizens are the minority tourists here. International visitors outnumber US local and national visitors about 4 to 1, best estimate. Not too busy ..but still busy. Views are not hindered by Canadian wildfire smoke! On site around 730 pm...breathtaking plunge of water from the Upper Niagara River. You know there are upper and lower parts of the river? Looks like one long river to me with a rock cliff in the middle?Beautiful ecology!

I came back to Niagara Falls after about 26 Years. As a person staying in southwest, it's a different feeling to get to see this kind of geographical marvel. We have a lot of waterbodies in southwest, but nothing as magnificent as this one. The air contains a lot of water and very humid but it all evaporates with the cooling breeze. Just getting near this place makes your body cool down. View from this exact point is amazing. You can see huge Niagara falls of the US side just a few feet away. The sheer quantity of water and the roar of the falls is just surreal. From this point you can also see the observation tower, Canadian side and enjoy the breeze if you are not up for much walking. Conveniently close to some food and drinks station and Niagara Falls State Park Scenic Trolley.

The whole park is great. This is free by the way. It is like a regular park but just with the wonderful view of the Niagara Falls. You can visit it with kids and pets, or you just can go there and walk while enjoying the view.

High recommend😍😍😍 It’s very beautiful and most spectacular views I have ever seen. Although many people said that it’s better to watch the falls from Canada, but in fact the perspective from United States is awesome too. Taking the ship among in the three falls is really amazing. People should visit here at least once in their lifetime.

Great place to take great pictures of the falls and see the beginning of the falls being lit up. They do close the bridge at 8pm, so be sure to be there before hand. It's $1.25 to walk out, but if you go after 5pm, there's no ticket booth open and you can walk for free.

This is a great spot to take photos of the American Falls, as well as a great vantage point over the river. The Observation Tower was closed for the season during my visit, so this was the next best alternative spot. Will definitely walk across this point if you are walking along the islands, so it is quite difficult to miss

A nice location to view the Niagara Falls from US side, however, a better view will be from the Observation Deck, which provide free access up to 4pm. Was a bit disappointed that we couldn’t take the Maid of the Mist Cruise as it is closed between November to May period. However, I am happy that we could get the view from this observation point.

The area is well maintained and the views are great definitely the best view from the U.S. side of the falls will be going over to Canada to check out what they have to offer.

Nice view of the falls. The view from the Canadian side is much better. Parking is not free during the day. Be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs!

It's a nice view. There's not that much to complain about

Free parking after 5pm. (During cold months). The park is under construction. Hopefully it ll be completed spring 2023. The falls viewing is very peaceful, serene and quiet during cold weather so bundle up to enjoy rare atmosphere. Cheers

You can spend hours here listening to falls, a mesmerizing experience build up during evening during light illumination. It will be little busy during evening hours.

Mind blowing views. Perfect place to view the grandeur of Niagara falls.

During the weekday the view can easily be viewed since there are less people. Restaurants nearby are only open later in the week (Wed-Sun). At 10PM sharp every night there will be a fireworks show on the Canadian side of the river that is best viewed close to this location.

Definitely not the best view of the falls but still amazing, wasn’t super crowded, had a wonderful time with the family here. The most coming off the falls is way to cool

Seems to be the best option to view from the US side. It’s OK. Wish we hadn’t forgot or passports because it looks like the Canadians get the best view. And unfortunately they closed and kicked us off the viewing platform before sunset when the falls get light up. Fits into the been there, done that folder.

Beautiful view of the falls, better than going on the boat, highly recommended and at a very low price
