Best pastrami sandwich & coffee i've had in a long time !

In a city saturated with tourist traps, Maison Karlie is truly an authentic coffee shop where the owner roasts her coffee beans on her only day off. Amazing coffee in a cozy shop, a place for coffee lovers to recharge. I went to so many mediocre places before I found this hidden gem. A must try if you're passing by!

No better way to start your day than some 2pac milk art on top of a great coffee. What a cool idea. Went back at lunch to try the pastrami sandwich and it was great. The bread was very unique, almost like a cake.

Delicious coffee served in this shop. Coffee beans are carefully selected by the owner and roasted in Nice. Staff is nice and friendly. Few seatings available inside and outside. Finger food options including sweets available.

When I travel abroad I always search for coffee roasters. I wasn’t able to find one this time near the Airbnb apartment. However this one was a couple of minutes walking distance. The owner is doing a great job end to end. The coffee is roasted by her self and the madeleine also cooked. The tastes and smells are really great. I also bought a can of roasted coffee from Ethiopia which is great for espresso and V60 . Good job !!!

Fabulous little coffee shop! By far the best coconut milk latte I’ve had in Nice. So creamy and delicious. Lovely server who roasts the coffee beans herself. Seating indoors and outdoors. The bathroom is really nice and immaculately clean. Great early opening times. Don’t hesitate to visit!

We had the challah pastrami sandwich and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Flavoured madelines and they were delicious 😋 A cute cafe with super chill vibes

Just when I’d given up on finding a good latte with non-dairy milk, we stumbled upon Maison Karlie. Wow! Beautifully crafted coffee with the option for gourmet extras and a small menu of Madelines and just 2 sandwichs. Awesome music. Comfy, clean ambiance. Now I have hope for French coffee! Merci, Élodie!

Coffee is top notch and gets drink type correctly in regard to milk foam ratio. Madeleine are also super delicious. A hidden gem in Nice if you ask me.

Incredibly delicious coffee, interesting options for preparing tea, tasty treats and an incredibly nice barista girl. I really liked this place the first time when I was passing through the city, and now I'm back again and I'm sure I'll be back more often. I want to return to this place, everything is harmonious here! Of all the places in France where I have been, this place is TOP 1! I recommend it

One of the best coffees I've had in a long time. Beautiful fruitiness in the beans I had, served at perfect temperature. Good cafe decor. Barista was very accommodating with my lack of French as well!

Genuinely terrific little cafe. At first, you’re like “only madeleines?” Then you try them and you understand! The best I’ve had, period - crispy edges, light-as-a-feather inside, simple but unique flavors. If you want a coffee and a little morning cake, I can’t recommend this place enough

If you are looking for actually dialled in, fresh and well balanced coffee, this is the place. We stumbled upon this cute specialty coffee place in nice by chance, after enduring the terrible coffee in our hotel. This place sells real speciality coffee, roasted by the owner herself. The coffee, iced tea, latte and especially the double espresso were a delight and balm for the soul. The pastrami sandwich helped us through an otherwise culinary boring afternoon. Thank you for having us and good luck on all further endeavours.

Great coffee and products. I had the best orange madeleine there.❤️ I highly recommend this place for the good coffe and nice atmosphere. Also I got to choose the design of my coffee foam. I got the LV logo just for fun.

Karlie’s cafe is truly the best I have found in Nice! I’m very impressed as she is truly a woman in coffee! She roasts her own, bakes incredible financiers and Madelines, and can participate in conversations taking place in the shop, seemingly no matter the language! Tres professional, and courteous.serious as well as fun!

Great cappuccino, the homemade madeleines were also excellent. Hands up for the pastrami sandwich which I tried on another visit, generous and yummy! Def a place to visit!

This coffee shop is PHENOMENAL! First of all, some of the best cold brew ever, not to mention some of the only cold brew I’ve been able to find in France. The madeleines are also amazing! I highly recommend the strawberry rose (fraise rose) or the dark chocolate. But all the ones I have tried are tasty! Truly a must stop in Nice. They also have matcha, I didn’t try but I plan to next time!
