After reading other peoples reviews. I felt I needed to give my personal opinion base on my own experience. I went to this restaurant twice. First reason, we really liked the food and second because of the way we were treated. I only have good things to say about this place and the people that work there. I’m a flight attendant, everyday I have to deal with entitle people that think you are their servant. Most of the reviews I read,I felt came from entitle people that think they can abuse you however they want just because. When you go to eat at a restaurant be so kind as to treat the staff with respect. You can’t expect anything else if you are acting high and mighty.

Overall, it was quite nice. The food took time to come but it was exactly lunch time and the place was pretty much full, so 100% understandable. The ratatouille was oilyer than i would have liked but other than that it was fine. The rest of the food was also pretty great. I also had a tea, i picked it randomly so i have no idea what tea was it as i understand very little French, but tge tea was heavenly good.

The waiter was absolutely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Me and my friend being tourists were waiting to be seated and as it was taking some time to find a waiter to welcome and assist us and we saw many empty tables, we decided to help ourselves. One of the waiters (tall guy) came out, went to serve another table, looked at us and sarcastically said "you can sit down" resulting in other people making fun of us. We felt humiliated and instantly left. It's shouldn't be just about the food but about customer service too. I have never feel disrespected like that and will never eat there. Loss of revenue and clientele for them!! We ate in another restaurant happy and were treated with RESPECT!

The chef is super ! Food is ok served in quick time with huge professionality. I give one star because the manager ( probably he is the owner ) was arrogant, unpolite and rude during all night with no reason. The place was cold ( he denied availability of a table inside, even with restaurant empty) and i tried to change my seat. The man was not happy about that and he moved fast with his hands my used paper napkins and our used forks from our table to another dirty one, instead giving us new napkins or new forks. I took it by myself and he was disappointed about that... ( This is just the basis of hygiene in a restaurant) ....Final bill was 57€ for 2 beer, 2 risotti, 1 green Salad..... in Italy we say.... Sooner or later the lucky moment is going to end.

This place was recommended to me by my French teacher, and it did not disappoint! We tried the salmon tartar and pesto gnocchi which were both delicious! Tip: If you eat early, you can have crepes for dessert from the place across the street!

Great restaurant in the heart of the Old Nice. Caters to Vegetarians with a fantastic selection of wine. The staff is lovely, hilarious, and greets you with a smile. Make sure to specify how you want your eggs done before ordering.

An awesome little spot in a quiet alley with outrageously good food. Very intimate. The staff are incredibly friendly and fun. Chef’s daughter makes some great cheesecake too! ;)

A great little restaurant in the heart of the old city serving authentic and rustic local food at very reasonable prices and with friendly service. A great place to try traditional dishes. The setting is also great, in a small cozy square separated from the typical old city tourist noise and bustle.

We ordered "fired little fish". Instead we got a mixture of different seafood. We told two waitresses about the fact that we didn't get what was written in the menu. Both of them were argumentative and the last waitress said to us "what can we do" and walked away from us. It was a very uncomfortable experience

Waiter was really helpfull, service was excellent. For example a friend dropped his knife and with in 30 seconds, without asking, he had a new one. Food was ok. Price/quality certainly very good.

Friendly and fast service, menu for 21 with three courses is a bargain.

Lets be honest about this restaurant. Staff and service is good, friendly and doing their best. Food is absolut nothing to remember.

The service and the managers were good and as attentive as they can be on a busy night but it was a bad night for me and my family. Alfresco dining and sitting next to 2 chain smokers ruined the night along with very gristly rib eye fillet. I ordered extra potatoe mash which was delicious on top of vegetables but it was confused with replacement so I just had potatoes and mash. My vegetables came later (which they didn't charge me for it) but I had already finished the gristly meat and I was so eager to get out of the chain smokers' second hand smoke. Thus the 3 stars I'm giving. 2 for food and one more for the good service. Maybe food was delicious but I can't taste it with the constant waft of smoke in my face. Back where we come from it is illegal to smoke in or within 5 meters of restaurants. It's not fair for people or children who do not want to be subjected to second hand smoke.

We were not given what was written on the menu. When we pointed it out to the waitresses they acted defensive and one of them walked away from us.
