Comprehensive choice of books and magazines; useful power points for computers. Lots of room. Staff very nice and helpful. BUT THERE ARE NO TOILETS, WHY?

A good place to get some work done out of the office, with lots of study tables with power points for laptops. The children's book section is vast with a decent English book section for them also.

Extremely good public library with lots of internet access and has also lots of local interest publications.

I usual spend my summer vacation in here. It's really good place for reading and studying. But they don't have too many English books.

Lovely, spacious building with fair selection of international magazines BUT only 50/60 adult English fiction books, mostly poor quality reading. Compare this to the English American Library of Nice that offers about 20,000 good quality novels old and new. Considering that the PACA region encompasses at least 18,000 English speakers [not to mention French locals wishing to improve their English] Louis Nucera's offering is derisory.

The only place in Nice where you can go and study, thus 2 stars. The opening hours are ridiculous. It’s practically a norm for big libraries to be open during evening hours as well. Disappointing The washrooms are 50 cents and dirty.. No cloakroom, no cafes in the building.

Love the library :) but today I had to use the bathroom and it was not a pleasant experience. I dont mind to pay but all the toilets were out of service - when I asked to the nice security lady, she asked around and no one could give a proper answer, she told me to use it anyway. You have to pay 0,50€. To end up in the stinkiest & dirtiest toilets I have seen in years. It was very sad to see that some people wrote messages on the toilets doors to keep unlock the toilet bc they cant afford to pay. Even the hand dryer doesn’t work. I know its an old public space but a minimum effort to keep it clean would be appreciated.

A great place to read and work in peace. Large halls, quiet and pleasant place.

Ask for the "pass sanitaire" and do not accept the green pass from other country. I hope all of these building will be razed to extend the "coulée verte" garden.

The people of Nice and all who visit should be aghast at this dysfunctional library.

Returning once more after moving from the region of Nice several years ago I was really disappointed in the English language Fiction section. The once generous and eclectic selection of authors, genres and classics has now been replaced by a few meagre shelves.Mostly these are popular recent 'must reads' everyone interested in that kind of fiction has already read anyway, seen the movie or else bored sick of hearing about. Whos decision was it to archive,or scrap that inexaustable and wonderful section that once spread across an entire length of the fiction section? Maybe the truth is that most people visit for study or WiFi connections, the calm space and reserch , fair enough but I go to a library to find a good book to read and I don't like Kindle. Am I the only person living in the entire region who prefers to read in their mother tongue even if they are fluent readers in French? Hardly, besides even the French student I met vainly serching for english LITERATURE was disappointed. So Please,Bring back the Books!

No much of a English books and it closes at 6 which doesn't give a student enough time to study, since we spend whole day at school. I am registered and I have the card.. but connection to internet is very troublesome. I am still not able to use internet there 😬... Kind of disappointed but books are okay and staff is right there if you need something. Thy couldn't help me with internet though.
