My friend forgot to ask for his deposit when he checked out of his room. He had already left Nice and he entrusted me to get his deposit for him. The hotel staff were very efficient in returning the deposit and left us with a good impression. Thank you very much, I will recommend more friends to come here, thank you. You are the pride of the hotel industry in Nice, 5 star service.

I was bitten by bed bugs while staying here. The rooms are cheap but its not worth the dirty room and itchy bites all over your body for a week after

for the price a great hotel, for a short visit over the weekend amazing also as a solo traveler booked without breakfast but there is microwave you can use i would recommend to bring your own shampoo and soap with the window open kinda noisy bc its right next to the street but the location is great right next to the train station and next to the shopping street

Did not like. I do not recommend. rested here on 31.08.23 The deposit was not returned and it surprised me a lot. I like traveling, but there was no such bad rest.

Used this hotel as a bag storage close to the Nice Ville train station. Approx. half the price of the actual station. The young man who took the bags in was extremely helpful and polite. The young lady who gave them back was just as good. They clearly have very good staff. Pity I wasn't staying there.

We stayed there for 2 nights and got bit by bed bugs, as a result we had to deal with unpleasant itch for next couple of weeks. Once we informed the property about this, their response was unprofessional and insulting. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible experience - avoid at all costs. Booked a room, chose to pay at the facility, but they took money before the trip from personal account. Would not answer phone calls. The rooms are trashed, no room service, constantly can hear trains, heating does not work and hot water works for 2 minutes at a time.

Nice rooms, ideal location- not far from the city centre, not far from the train station and the tram stop is just nearby. Some nice restaurants around too.

Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more so you can stay at a better hotel. Only good thing about this hotel was the location which is located right next to the train station. We got placed in a room on the 5th floor with a slanted ceiling so we ended up with half of the room, which was very uncomfortable to walk around (we had to bend down most of the time). The bathroom is small and the hair dryer was just a tube hanging down with no handle. Worst hotel experiences in my life.

Perfect location across from the train station. Close to restaurants and market. Above average room and amenities for the price.

Lovely old hotel. Staff member on desk upon arrival was helpful and lovely. Air con in the room didn't work bug within 40 minutes of reporting this was fixed (even at 11pm) Beg bugs were spotted! Thankfully didn't get bitten and they didn't tag along on the rest of our trip!! Good location close to the main highstreet and train station. Massive downside is a 50€ "damages deposit" they take from your account without telling you.

We loved this hotel! The best hotel in this area (near train station). Perfect mix quality and price. We had room with balcony, big enough for 2 adults and baby, smart TV, also here is smoking balcony with some facilities like microwave oven, fridge and iron. Yes, here were small problems too, but for the hotel 2 stars this is not important. Thank you hotel Berne!

I dont suggest this place for anyone. The girl at the reception thinks she owns the hotel. Very rude and unprofessional. Didn't learn customer service I think. The check in is exactly at 2.30pm not even 1 minute before. The rules are ridiculous. Not even 7 star hotels have some rules like this place. You have to deposit 50€. Check out it at 11am,if you exceed 5 min, you have to pay 15€. To keep your baggage there and to roam a little outside you need to pay 6€. Never have we done that in any other hotels. The kettle in the room was horribly dirty. The boy with tatoos is a very hard working boy. Lastly the elevator takes 1 year to work 🫠

SCAM! Took my deposit and never gave it back because somehow they don't have any record of me staying there despite Expedia sending them proof multiple times. Plus their WIFI wasn't working and they kept saying 'the engineer will come fix it.' Avoid at all costs.

I love this place. The staff is helpful, the new design is awesome. This is our favourite place to stay when the budget is low but we still desire very nice place.

Small hotel located near railway station. Rooms seem to vary. Ours was a two room unit with a total of 4 beds, other rooms are smaller. The hotel has a lift which is nice.

The toilet door can’t be closed completely. It locates in the end of the shopping street, and it’s noisy, dirty, and a bit unsafe. The light in the aisle is not always open.

I didn't stay there but use their luggage storage. All perfect and the staff at the reception was super friendly with a smile and helpful.

Good hotel, clean, locating 3 mins from the main train station. Good for one night stay.

Very friendly reception staff, but aside from that the hotel wasn’t great. Quite expensive, not clean, bathroom door didn’t close and the shower doors didn’t shut completely so every time we took a shower there would be a small puddle waiting for us on the floor.

We stayed at this place for 2 nights, and BEWARE: THE PARKING LOT IS NOT THEIRS AND HAS ADDITIONAL COSTS! My brother drove around looking for parking, and dropped me off so I could ask where the parking was licated. The receptionist was very sweet in telling me it was connected to the train station, but not the actual train station itself because the actual train station parking was too expensive. I don't know what that means as there's only one parking lot in the area and it's the one connected to the station, but for both nights we were there we were fortunate enough to find free street parking (street parking is pay parking from 9am-6pm, and we came back after 6pm and left before 9am every day), so if you can manage street parking, then it's well worth it and good luck! The room was rather large, where we had one bedroom for my brother and another double bed room for my mom and myself. There was a huge dining room table in our room with 4 chairs, which was honestly a really nice use of space. We were on the top floor, so the ceilings were slanted, but that was fine. The place was slightly dusty, where it's clear they may need to vacuum or sweep a little more between changes. The air conditioner did not work, and when we asked, the front desk explained it was only a heater for the winter and spring months. Didn't make much sense to us, as being on the top floor meant it would accumulate heat. My mother hated this place for that reason alone. I was ok with opening the windows, but our window was stuck mostly shut due to a curtain rod in front of it preventing much use of the actual window itself. For the location, it's perfect if you're going to and coming from anywhere by train. It's hard to find as the little green awning gets drowned in the sea of shops around it, but honestly, it's fine for the 60€ per night that we stayed. The room came with a small fridge which was a little dirty, and also had a hot water kettle that had clearly seen better days. The confusing part was they had a sign saying hot water kettles were available upon a 10€ deposit so I'm not sure why we had one. Plenty of plugs, the light fixtures we well placed but our lamp was out (didn't effect us). The beds were comfortable enough, and with the windows open, it was at decent temperature. I would not suggest this to friends looking for a multiple night stay, but for one to two nights this place is passable. One star for location, one star for the size of the room, and one star for having a dining room table and a fridge. The parking and cleanliness cost it two stars.

Paid quite a bit of money for a room for two nights. The room itself was pretty plain but clean. The bathroom seemed about 30 years older and like it had been forgotten during a renovation. A shower cabin that was missing doors and instead of that had a strange dirty shower curtain hanging in its opening. The bathroom door was very run down wit chipped bits. The door into the room itself had very dirty marks on it, which wasn't surprising as it had been painted with wall paint. It also jammed immensely and could not be closed quietly.

Location was really good –right next to railway station. Room was quite small, laud and not well planned (power socket in the toilet or down on the wall opposite to bed). Besides, we had an issue with towels: as we took 2 nights and didn’t want clean up, also kept our towels hanged on the wall (meaning: no towel change needed), still cleaning lady took our towels and didn’t provide another ones, so basically for the second night we stayed without towels. We came to the reception desk to ask for the towels, receptionist marked it, and nothing happened afterwards. We had to ask again and again until we got 2 small towels.

Very competent personal. Speaking english fluent. Breakfast as a buffet was more than enough. Typical french with Croissant and stuff. Room was clean and nice. Perfect for a short visit

Not so good hotel. We have very small room for two persons. The price was not so big. Hotel is near railway station. So you can hear train from your room. Beds was very comfortable. In the morning we was waiting long time for elewator.

Room is tiny, next to the lift and facing main street. At 5 am there was a cement truck working on expanding station. Impossible to rest. Drawers not clean, shower broken, bed (if one calls it that) - is a cheap mattress on wooden blocks. We had to escape after one night!!! Luckily, next door lovely 3stars hotel offering twin room with balcony, fridge, bathtub, spacious room and QUIET only for €6 extra p night. Lucky escape!!!

Although the location is great, rooms are not as described. Starting from the view from the window which is very disappointing as you see a bridge and at the moment there are construction works which you can hear all day long. Gladly we bought some ear plugs and problem was solved. However, the room is next to the lift and apparently the walls are so thin you can hear anybody walking outside the room or opening their wardrobe in the room next door. The size of the room is quite debatable as it's very small - just right for spending the night I guess if that's all you need. In the bathroom you can find a hairdryer. The safe in the room is quite useless as there's no instruction and reception staff didn't even bother telling us about that. Also, the reception staff does not speak English very well and didn't seem so much friendly. Just gave us the key and number of the room, didn't mention anything about other facilities in the hotel. Nevertheless, there is NO FREE service for holding luggage, you will need to pay 6.00€ each if you want to leave the luggage here after check-out. However, I asked for early check in and they accepted to having us checking in two hours earlier. In the hotel there's no so much to do really, I didn't find any toilets or plugs to charge your phone. Shame because the location to places is excellent.
